Crystal Bay On The Broadwater

The room was spacious and suited our needs. The view was just lovely waking up to the sunrise every morning over the broad water was spectacular. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and always happy to help no problem was too big or too small (not that we had any issues).

While we were very comfortable and would stay again my only negative is that the room was a bit out dated but it still had everything we needed and was still comfortable and functional. We had free parking under the building my only small issue was that the you didnt have a specific parking space for your room. I do acknowledge that the rooms are owned and therefore would change due to residents being in attendance. Every time you went out you would come back and have to find a spot to park. The above comments would NOT stop us from returning, just some feedback that maybe able to be looked into.

View from the room was amazing. The location of the resort is only 15 minutes from the theme parks and still close enough to get to Surfers Paradise but away from the tourist zone itself. Shops and supermarkets within short distance. The staff were lovely.

The room was filthy and we had infants. We ended up going to the supermarket and buying a mop, multipack of floor wipes, and antibacterial wipes to clean all surfaces. The wipes were black within minutes. We put all cushions outside onto the balcony, rolled up the floor rugs and put a sheet over the couch. The beds were too soft and gave us back aches after the first night, so we went and purchased a four pack of interlocking gym floor mats from Kmart to provide extra support which solved the problem. Once these issues were dealt with, the rest of the stay was fine.

Apartment was spacious, clean and bright, pool and spa were enjoyed, as well as a walk along the beach right across the road. Staff were always friendly and smiling.

Bathrooms could do with an update. Balconies need to be re grouted. Hot water services were very dirty and are located in wardrobe cupboards which were easily accessible by young children. Pool and spa need a deep clean and re grouting, there was visible mould around edges.

Loved our room and the layout of the apartment. Most of all loved the view it was so peaceful to look out to the water. Very well kept hotel and the pool and hot tub were immaculate. All the staff and even the permanent residents were friendly and helpful.

I understand only one turn down per week as they are privately owned apartments but if guests are staying for so long we stayed for 2 weeks, it would be nice to give them extra cleaning products and toilet paper. Especially because we had to use a pack of laundry detergent to wash the provided towels in a separate wash to prevent colour leaks.

The apartment itself was fantastic, very spacious and cosy. The view from the balcony was kind of nice and the pool was nice to have a swim in. It is the perfect place for two couples traveling since the bedrooms are located on the opposite side of the kitchen and living room and both have their own bathroom.

The location is not that great as most points of interest are more than walking distance away. The beach is not the nicest in this area and there is a lot of construction around the building.

Great pool, BBQ area. Balcony views. Convenient car parking, clean and great facilities in apartment.

The curtains didn't block out the early morning sunrise. Because our friends had an apartment next door, I found it a little unfair they had better tv channels (foxtel), a couch that was more comfy, plastic cups for the pool. I understand the apartments are privately owned, however the differences should be consistent or reflected in the price.

Location and views were excellent. Having a guest Carpark is a bonus, my friends were able to visit us without any worries where to park. We'll surely be back in this accommodation in my future getaway with friends.

Sofa in the living room was placed too close to two kitchen counter. We've knocked our heads a few times while resting and chatting. Dangerous for head injury, we ended up rearranging the couch to avoid getting hurt.

The location and set up was very good and had everything we needed. The outlook was very relaxing.

The place could have done with a more thorough clean as there was dirt and crumbs underneath the cushions, my husband asked for another vacuum cleaner so he could do a proper clean of the floors and lounges. The lounges were a little uncomfortable. But overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Location and view.

I think that the holiday parking should be located in a central block and be monitored. They were continuously shifting and there were nights when there was no undercover parking for holiday persons. Had to park in private parking. Somehow the numbers must be controlled.

the location was amazing. KEN! who let us in after hours was super amazing. friendly helpful and a delight to talk to.

The room while comfortable, had signs of wear quiet noticeable. upon entry the carpet was torn where the tiles meet the carpet (age) dirty marks in bathroom door. lighting was poor in kitchen with main light behind bench. only one lamp plugged in to wall in main bedroom the other lamp didn’t reach. next available power point was near door. to hook up phone charges etc. second room the same.
