Sea World Resort

We loved our stay. The room was beautifully clean and the beds were comfy. The air conditioning was greatly appreciated and the view was superb! The daily room tidy up and replacement of amenities and making of beds was a brilliant surprise and so appreciated.

There wasn't anything we didn't like but I have a suggestion. A small place to hang bathers out on the balcony, a drying rack of some sort would be a welcome addition. Also, on checkout, a question about our stay and a kind farewell would have been lovely. Our room keys were accepted and I was told checkout was complete without eye contact. I would have appreciated "how was your stay? Thank you for spending time with us here and all the best for your journey home". It would have been a lovely final touch on a wonderful family holiday. Just a small thing, but it's the last impression as a guest checks out.

The deal on the pricing and park entry was great! Room was a good size for a short stay and modern. Great for kids.

Parts of the resort are looking a bit tired, hopefully post COVID it can get a spruce up if you're paying full price. Would be good if there was somewhere you could get a light younger kids lunch e.g. a sandwich

The location, view and amenities were spot on

We were told at check in we got a complimentary upgrade, but we were in a garden room with a view of a shed rooftop.

I liked the facilities, they were excellent for kids who really enjoyed the pool facilities, splash zones as well as the movies in the pool which were showing during our stay. The room was comfortable, and location convenient for our stay. Reception and hotel staff offered exceptional service throughout our stay. Pop up BBQ breakfast $10 B&E roll highlight of our breakfast experience.

Our room was located close to the smokers shed which is located internally in the resort, having this located here directly affects the surrounding rooms. We were unable to have our door open or enjoy the balcony during our stay. Parking at the resort is busy with many users of the carpark parking across pedestrian crossings making it dangerous for pedestrians as well as blocking other vehicles from exiting. You are advised on arrival that overflow parking is on the street, it is clearly not managed well by the resort staff despite them requiring number plates on check in. Food offerings whilst well executed were basic and bland at best for the premium being charged.

Beautiful location with some great facilities for families and easy access to Seaworld. Staff were friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was great with a good variety. Buffet dinner was also great, especially if you enjoy seafood (just make sure you book). Japanese restaurant amazing. Room was a really good size for a family and the view from our balcony was spectacular. Beds were comfortable. Loved having unlimited entry to seaworld. Was fantastic to be able to break up visits over the day/s.

Bathroom was dated. Bath was awkward to use with kids as screen was fixed in place and taps were located at screen end of bath. Hot water and cold water taps in bath and shower were mislabelled which is pretty unsafe in a family room. Kettle was small and no microwave. Lunch options were limited. Would be good if the Italian was open lunch and dinner. Worth being aware that they seem to host a lot of conferences, so make sure you book dinner.

Our room was very nice and the beds very comfortable. Heating worked great when the weather was cold. The bathroom was a good size and Loved the shower pressure and the toiletries were nice with plenty for each day. We also appreciated the change of towels daily. We mostly ate in the resort and could not fault the food. So much choice with the breakfast buffet and we had lunch and dinner at the Lobby Lounge. The Staff were very helpful, service was great and so was the food. We were there for our 44th Wedding Anniversary and were made to feel special with a complimentary fruit and cheese board and wine on arrival. Even though we don’t drink alcohol, we were given soft drinks and a late checkout which we so appreciated. A big thank you to all the Staff, especially Rebecca at reception on Check-in who couldn’t do enough for us on our very late arrival and Edwin on check-out who continued the care with a going away gift. Thank you

We did find the bathroom a bit dark and brighter lighting would have been good, especially over the mirror for applying makeup. Also a few more coat hangers in the wardrobe is always needed. Lastly, there were 2 double beds in the room which were a bit small for us and a queen size bed would have been great.

We love Seaworld Resort and visit often. We love the location and that it is connected to Sea world themepark. We enjoy on site, restaurants and the general environment. Most staff are lovely.

I hate to say it, but the walkways need some kind of refurbishment. Maybe a new hard wearing carpet. Rust and other general just repair of walls and eaves might help the look of things. More frequent vacuuming of the outdoor carpeted areas also. Occasionally, staff are inattentive and generally unprofessional, chatting with each other, rather than serving a line of customers.  ALSO please put back a basic breakfast room service option.

The resort is amazing, staff take.pride and clean up the areas constantly. It was nice to have a single room for the family and have amazing facilities rather than places that expect you to pay for 2 rooms with young kids. So it makes it much more affordable. The buffet breakfast was so good. And I found it hard to get info online but they do have a laundry you can use to do some washing.

The location is a bit out of surfers so a car is useful esp if you want to go to the theme parks. The bed was quite soft. Some may prefer this but just fyi if soft beds hurt your back like mine.

Location is amazing and kids loved the theme parks. Great that you could come and go as you liked throughout the day. Room was lovely and as described with a lovely view from the balcony. As I was travelling alone with children concierge service was greatly appreciated and very helpful to get luggage to/from room directly to car. Breakfast included was a bonus we had not expected. Very easy to get tickets on first morning prior to check-in time (which I was unnecessarily a little worried about).

Would be great to have a toaster and microwave in rooms in addition to a kettle. I know there is lots of meal options on site but would have been great to have some options to eat in the room rather than the expense of all meals out.

The main pool is slightly heated during winter. The lifeguards were friendly and helpful with directions and information. The breakfast was great. It was not amazing but was great for families. Everything the kids wanted, lots of nutella, juice, pancakes, ice cream. I may have loved a few Pancakes with nutella and bananas myself. This was amazing value for money 2 nights accommodation, 3 days of theme parks, heated swimming pool and 2 buffet breakfasts.

The pillows were huge and soft, but really hard to sleep on. There were ants if you left food out. The limited parking can be annoying, if you come home after dinner you have to walk up the main road.
