The location and staff were excellent. We could walk to cafes and to the beach. The facilities were good. We also liked the spaciousness of the apartment.

The wifi was terrible and we could not get free to air television at first. The staff worked hard to rectify this. The oven and dishwasher were very old. They worked but you could not read the temperature on the dials of the oven and the door did not close properly.

Apartment was good, although meagerly stocked, eg two sachets of dishwashing liquid etc for a week long stay. Enough cooking utensils to cater for a family

While we had a good stay, it was marred by a couple of things. Firstly there are two major building sites within 100 meters of the apartment so they were both noisy during the day. The security in the apartments was so tight that in certain areas the key fob did not work and I had to climb over a wall to get out as attempts to get attention/help failed. ( I am not young and forgot my mobile phone.) All in all good, but it might be good to check the building works.

3B apartment was stunning (No23) - plenty of room for 6 adults, furniture was beautiful, beds very comfortable. Everything you need in a home a way from home. Full size fridge/freezer w/ice maker/water, washer/dryer etc. Great view of the beach and surrounds, straight across the road (1min walk), lifeguard stationed directly in front added bonus. Pool and BBQ facilities great + tennis court. *Michael was wonderful - told him what tours we were looking at and he did all the hard work sorting them for us while we went off and did other things😍 Definitely stay again

Only negative was no air-conditioning in 2 of the bedrooms. Got very hot up one end of apartment until the night seabreezes kicked in.

The location was excellent, with a patrolled beach straight across the road, with a traffic light crossing right out front as well. A short walk to the local shops and restaurants, with a leisurely 25 minute stroll along the beach to Surfers Paradise shops. The reception staff were excellent, friendly and able to assist in recommending things to do and the purchasing of tickets directly. The apartment was very spacious and had everything supplied. A great poolside area with pool, spa, sauna, BBQ area and tennis court. Able to watch the whales swim by from the balcony.

Nothing not to like, trip could have been longer.

The location of accommodation is perfect! If you don't want to be amongst the craziness of surfers then this is the place for you. The staff at Norfolk Apartments are amazing. There was a slight issue with check in (on my end) but it was quickly resolved within minutes. I also asked to check in early as my guests arrived early from overseas. They were unsure on the day prior but told me to ask again on the day of check in. On the day of check in, this was facilitated and my family did not have to wait for hours to check in. Thank you Norfolk staff.

Didn't necessarily "Dislike" anything however. As mentioned in other review the place is a little old but dont let that put you off. it is clean, with great amount of space and very homely. Also mentioned in other reviews there is construction across the road. This cannot be helped. An observation i made is that there is loud construction noises coming from all directions besides the one across the road. So it doesnt really matter even if the building across the road was finished. you were still get noise.

Beautiful warm family friendly property. Felt like this apartment and complex had those extra little touches that made it feel like a home. Main bed was really comfortable, excellent facilities, and hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Pool and spa were great and loved the tennis courts, they even had some books you could borrow during your stay. The room had everything you could want and the location is spectacular. Right across from an amazing beach, and Tedder Ave one block away for coffee and amazing restaurants. Views were sensational too. We will be back!

Just the sand in the spa needed a bit if a clean out. But to be expected when you are across from the beach.

Dream location and 3 bedroom apartment was like something out of ‘Vogue Living’. Hosts Michael & Brooke obviously know what vacationers want & have done a brilliant job to facilitate the potential needs of the traveller when living away. Spacious layout; laundry & kitchen well appointed with every appliance imaginable; secure access to site; balconies front and rear.

Provision of liquid soap in bathroom and kitchen would be more user friendly. We stayed a week so bought own but thought it discourages cleaning of dishes if no product readily available.

The location was terrific. Close to Tedder St where there are lots of eateries and great location for the beach which is literally 100 metres away and was a patrolled beach. The staff were very helpful and provided information freely and were available to discuss any issue virtually 24/7. My daughter came with here 1 year old daughter and it was also perfect for them with walkways easily accessible and stroller friendly. The parking was also a bonus and nice wide spaces unlike some high rise buildings where you need a sardine can to get out!

Very close to public transport such as buses and G-Link tram. The beach is a stones throw away and cafes and other shops close by in Tedders Ave. Ensuite w masters and second bathroom for your guests/children. Pool (heated), hot tub, tennis courts and sauna on site.

Nothing! There is construction happening across the road so if you sleep light bring ear plugs and note the construction is taking place during our visit in April 2024

The views were superb from level six, even enabling us to see whales and dolphins in the water from our balcony. A very short walk across the road had us on the beach, and there were plenty of shops close by in Tedder Avenue. A very easy drive into Surfers Paradise too. The unit itself was so far beyond expectations, very clean and spacious. Views from every one of the three bedrooms. The swimming pool area was just fantastic, well landscaped and a huge picnic area beside the barbecues. And a big one for me: A dedicated car parking spot instead of "If the carpark is full the street is not metered" that seems to be the norm these days! Most likely my favourite place I have ever stayed!

Beyond the accomodations control, but there was a building site across the road. So the beautiful sound of the ocean gave way to a lot of loud noises from very early in the morning, hindering sleeping till a decent time. On the upside, it had me up early enough to view the sunrise from the balcony!
