The location was excellent, and the price was great. Very close to surfers, the theme parks etc. Could get most places within 20 mins maximum. Every day when we arrived home from activities we started in the outdoor pool then to the indoor pool then the spa. The kitchen and laundry facilities were great. Beds were suprisingly comfortable as sometimes beds can be terrible at different accommodations. Every night we sat on the veranda and watched the boats, birds and bustle of main beach. It was beautiful.

Perhaps a little dated in decor and some obvious repairs such as a crack in the bedroom wall that was just plastered over. But honestly, this was minor in comparison to everything we loved about this apartment.

Location and proximity to the beach, park, restaurants, food shop was great. Very convenient. The apartment was well appointed with everything we needed to feel at home. The apartment was also really big, which we loved! I also liked the midweek deal plus the added discount once I logged into my booking.com account. Next time I would pay extra for an ocean view instead of the view to the neighbouring carpark.

Carpet could have been vaccumed better. Everything else was wonderfully cleaned, just the floor wasn't very clean and I noticed crumbs and hair on arrival. Also the clip in the dishwashing powder compartment was broken so dishes didn't get cleaned very well. There isn't airconditioning in every room, so not sure what it would be like in summer as we started at the end of May.

Excellent location. Great views. Very spacious unit. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Very homely feel to the unit that included books in the bookshelves. Plenty of room to move around (4 adults and a baby). We had a lot of stuff for the baby's birthday party and still so much room. Large comfortable lounge area, full sized dining table, casual lounge area, large balcony off the casual lounge. Large bedrooms and bathrooms. Small balcony off the main bedroom. Kitchen was a little on the small side compared to the rest of the unit but functional. Laundry located off the kitchen. Spacious common areas with indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, 2 BBQ areas, and tennis court. Tedder Ave is super close and a 1 minute walk to Main Beach. Allocated parking was easy and there are trolleys guests can use to cart luggage. Also plenty of street parking. If staying more than 1 night, bring extra rubbish bags and toilet paper. There is a mini mart on Tedder Ave if you forget. Shout out to Leo on the front counter at check in for being friendly and informative.

The unit was clean but the walls in the unit could have used a good wipe over. Common areas and grounds were very clean. Dusting of the tv cabinet and decorative board under the dining table glass was not done often. These minor things are the only reason the score isn't a 10.

Hot spa considering it was in the middle of winter. Big kids, 10- and 6-year-old, swam in the indoor pool. Nan and 3-year-old stayed in the hot spa pool. Grandpa sat in the sauna. Second bedroom had a single and double bed. Excellent for our three grandchildren. We didn't need or use the extra bed. The size of the apartment was huge. Two bathrooms, kids loved having their own bathroom and so did we. View was facing the ocean, we saw partial sunrise and sunset. It was ok, no drama. Temperatures in the rooms were nice.

Main bedroom was a ittle bit outdated but excellent for the price. Noisy our last night as we had new tenants move in above us (or next door, not sure). But in saying that our kids would have made a heck of a noise too!

The apartment was very comfortable and secure. The location was wonderful. It is in vibrant Main Beach. Tedder Street was amazing in offering so many interesting dining options. Close to local light rail made transport easy if you didn’t have a car. Our granddaughter loved the pool and the adults enjoyed the spa. Great playgrounds nearby but we did drive to them.

The bed in the main bedroom really needs replacing as it was quite uncomfortable. Servicing of rooms every 8 days is too long a gap. Towels really needed replacing after about 4. This was done when we made a request. The limited supplies in the starter kit need to be emphasised as we were caught unawares. Perhaps it should be adjusted according to the length of stay.

The location was brilliant - in a quieter part of the Gold Coast and the local area around the apartments felt more like a wee village with lots of locals. Very close to everything else. Beds were comfortable, loads of room for 4 adults and one child. Great view from the balcony and very friendly staff.

The only thing that I found was the car park and having to swipe to get out. I would have expected auto doors there but other than that very small thing, there was nothing I didn't like

As a return guest to the Meriton, we were pleasantly surprised to find the apartment renovated to a very high level. U38 a 3 bedroom we can highly recommend. Very comfortable beds, nice new furniture throughout the apartment. Bathrooms renovated to a very high level. Lovely Broadwater views from the balcony, and inland mountain view from the kitchen. The ground level and main entrance, along with corridors in the building have been renovated too since our last visit.

A building across the road is going up, and the builders do start at 7am each day other than Sunday.

We loved the spaciousness of the apartment, the views over the broadwater, the comfortable beds, the great kitchen, the laundry facilities and the big tv and the electric recliner chairs. It was also a very short walk to Tedder Avenue where there were multiple food choices. It was a short walk to the tram as well so we could go anywhere without using the car

The check in process was awkward as we had to use a door code then get the key from a locked box with another code

Lots of construction around and in the building (apartment next to us and below us) but noise / disruption wasn't bad)

There was so much space for our family of 6. The apartment had everything that we needed and was such a great place to hang. The location was great with lots of restaurants close by, and the beach was a short stroll away. The apartment complex had great facilities with pools, spa, sauna, gym and tennis courts. We would definitely stay here again!
