Incredible value for money! You will be hard pressed to find a whole apartment for this price anywhere in Mackay! The room was well stocked with everything we needed. The hotel attached to the accommodation is a beautiful venue that offers fun activities and has a fantastic menu! The staff are all lovely, so personable, the location is to die for and we will definitely be back! The view from the dining area is lovely! Have recommended this place to everyone we know! Been to Mackay so many times and never spotted this little gem!

The gaming area's air con was broken but these things happen, other than that our stay was perfect!

We did not buy breakfast as I brought my own breakfast food. We loved the location.

The bed was not the most comfortable but the pillows were good and when you opened up the doors and windows there was a beautiful cool breeze. The only trouble I had was with guests around our unit who were smoking. Because we slept with the windows open and the air-con off, I found that I kept waking up during the night to the smell of cigarette smoke. In the end I decided to close the window so I did not wake up to the smell of cigarette smoke. Music in under cover area was too loud.

All staff, particularly reception and housekeeping were super friendly and caring. This is our 3rd stay and we find it a very comfortable, spacious stay that caters well for those travelling with their fur child.

I really think they need to conduct an audit of the furniture and kitchenette facilities. Out of 3 dining chairs, 2 were broken which could result in a serious injury. One appliance didn't work and the new kitchen pans were of extremely poor quality. One already previously used had a broken handle. A new pan we used warped and lost its coating on its first use. None of the above would prevent us of a future stay as staff, location and overall comfort are still exemplary.

Stayed in pet friendly apartment. Very spacious and comfortable with separate bedroom. Large fridge, washing machine and dryer. Unlike some pet friendly accommodation it was nicely furnished. While not in new condition unit was very clean. Only stayed 1 night but very suitable for a longer stay. Outdoor patio/garden area (not fenced) but fine for our dog. Adjoining pub had dog friendly area to have a drink or a meal. Stayed on a Tuesday night area was very quiet. Close to park and beach for dog walking.

Nice room everything you need for a overnight stay. Not real close to other services without a drive or taxi into town but has good meals at the hotel a mini mart and service station on the main road. Close to the beach and lookout gor whale watching season. Enjoyed our stay and stay here often when in Town. Also very helpful with a late check in 😀

The kids didn't like we didn't get there early enough for a swim.

The room was a lot bigger than expected - although we didn't need it, there was a sofa bed in a small lounge area. It had everything we needed for our overnight stay. Easy walk to the lookout, public playground, and beach front.

Other than the bistro and bottle shop, no other convenience stores within walking distance. Couldn't keep the sliding door open because of bugs from the garden - a screen door would have been handy.

When I travel for work to Mackay, I am staying here, plain and simple. Everything I could want in a place to stay for work was exceeded significantly! The location, the WIFI, the staff, the service and the food! Oh my goodness! Thank you for what literally felt like a working holiday and I look forward to seeing you next time I am heading to Mackay!

The phone reception from telstra, but that literally has nothing to do with you literally.

The location was convenient, quiet, accessible and the beach with a beautiful view just a 5 min walk down the road. Local tavern nearby with delicious meals reasonably priced. It was comfortable for our stay with option for the kids to swim at the beach or at the pool. Shops and service station located 5 mins- 10 mins just down the road for any stock ups. Staff friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area.

Probably needs a bit of sprucing up for the property and repairs.

Very comfortable, good shower. Great pillows, comfortable beds, good quality sheets. Plenty of clean fresh towels when needed. Having a family sized fridge. We made good use of the electric frypan, microwave & grill/oven, toaster & jug.

The lingering smell of cigarette smoke in the undercover areas outside the apartment. The smell of cigarette smoke when utilising the outside space. There were discarded cigarette butts in the garden. Guy staying next door, sitting on his front step smoking & drinking was offputting, especially when my grandchildren were visiting. I realise they are working, but a smoke-free zone would be more inviting for families.

The rooms were quite spacious. We had our little puppy with us and were in a Pet friendly room and it was fantastic. Plenty of room, could easily sleep a family of 4. The restaurant attached to the property also caters well for puppies, we were able to have him outside on the deck with us while we had dinner. We were across from the beach and were able to take him for walks, it was just a lovely overnight stay for us on our way up North and would highly recommend for anyone traveling with a pet.

It was everything I expected and I couldn't fault the property
