The Sebel Maroochydore

The reception lady that was there when we checked in was absolutely lovely. I don't think I've been somewhere before and felt so comfortable and welcomed. It felt like we knew her but we didn't. absolutely wonderful!! We also liked that there were food places on the same block.

No idea how to work the oven. All the options when turning the buttons on were all faded and no existent, so had no idea if you're using grill or fan forced etc. same with the temperature. What ever I tried seemed to be mostly the grill and what I tried cooking kept burning :( .

The apartment was well appointed, very roomy and the direct access to the pool areas was just fantastic for the kids (and adults). The apartment was very clean with great furniture and the bed was very comfortable. The apartment complex was located close to plenty of amenities like food outlets and restaurants and just a short stroll to the beach. GREAT STUFF!

There was actually nothing that we did not like. Not that it affected us because we stayed over a weekend - however there did appear to be some demolition/construction activity occurring next door which would have been unpleasant if activity had been occurring whilst we were there.

Absolutely amazing stay the staff were so polite and helpful and as a bonus they upgraded us to the Penthouse on arrival which I couldn't believe and it didn't disappoint the views from the balcony which was very spacious were amazing the suite itself is very modern and well kept, the rooms were great as well with the main room having a spa bath of decent size and was great to relax in my highlight though was having lunch on our private rooftop area accessed by at set of stairs at the front of the suite this had a table and chairs and a shade from the sun, overall I couldn't of had a better experience!

My fam and i had a wonderful time at the Sebel, the pool won us all over, specially the spa haha was super spacious and had shade so we didnt burn. The room's were great, comfy and clean. The kitchen was nice and spacious, was able to cook some home meals rather than eating out again and again. The view was exquisite! Had a beach side view, we spent most out time on the balcony just watching the beautiful waves. We'll deffs be back.

Had a wonderful greeting at Reception, was wished a Happy Anniversary (10 years) and was told that if we needed anything, to please ask. We opened the door to our room and there was the view!! How glorious a sight!! Then we discovered the Sebel Staff had given us a bottle of bubbly and a beautiful card for our anniversary. Very thoughtful and generous. Will stay there again.

There is nothing to not like about The Sebel, Maroochydore.

View from room was great and location was good close to beach and food. We loved the pool and spa area. We also loved having a spa in the room and that there was plenty of towels and extra bedding. We would book to stay again. We also loved having secure parking.

Although we loved the pool and spa area the sauna wasn't working. Also the plates in the apartment are getting old and stained could be replaced. Also the pillows where either too hard or too soft so make the sleep a little uncomfortable. Would be nice to have a list of things in the building as wasn't aware of the bbq area and spa on roof top until the morning when we where leaving.

OVERALL FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!!! Friendly staff, easy checkin/checkout, loved the privacy, quiet and peaceful, easy/secure parking, close to food/beach, very clean and modern, awesome view, plenty of space, pool + spa excellent, bed very comfy.... had everything we needed!

If I had to b picky... we miss room service (but completely understand with covid), pillows were a bit hard for us (but that comes down to personal preference), ceiling fans would be a great addition (again personal preference as we enjoy listening to the waves and fresh air).

Great views, spacious, comfortable furniture and bedding. Good inclusions in kitchen. Nice pool area. Great location for beach access. Good secure parking

No insect screening on doors to balcony, no cold water for washing machine, balcony furniture old and not comfortable, no seat cushions. Quite a lot of traffic noise.

Great location and spacious apartment!

For a “luxury branded” hotel we were surprised to find out they had ‘no wifi’. We spoke to 2 different staff about it who both gave off the attitude of “nothing we can do” it wasn’t until my husband spoke to a third person that they provided us with a wifi dongle.

The location was just perfect, the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. The property itself was in pristine condition, everything worked. A special shout out for organising a romance package my wife was absolutely blown away.

It was hard getting an Uber.
