The Sofitel is in a great location. It is close to the beach and surrounding cafes, restaurants, bars and local supermarket. The pool was heated and we got to enjoy the swim-up bar with the amazing weather we experienced.

We woke up to two fire alarms at 4-5 am on Saturday and Sunday. There was no further information on whether guests needed to evacuate. Our room was located on level 4 across from the ‘Guest’ laundry room (unsure if the same layout for other floors) and guests slamming doors which was frustrating when trying to sleep and enjoy a break. If planning to stay request to be away from high traffic areas.

The room, the housekeeping staff are really great! Efficient and so clean

The receptionist who admitted us in the front desk. She sounded like she’s second guessing herself and she didn’t speak much and she’s. not friendly. She could be French. She was so slow in processing our check in and I was busting. And I asked her where the restroom was and she said, the restaurant?? I said no the restroom/toilet and that’s the only time she was able to understand what I meant

The breakfast was very good, We don’t have a cooked breakfast. So Sofitel we’re wonderful and allowed us to have continental, fruit, toast ,tea. Witch was generous of them. Staff wonderful, greeting was on Anzac Day, Champagne, and Anzac biscuits. Nice touch. All up we love it there. Prices are getting very high,??? So we hope they don’t get any higher, other accommodation around , not as expensive. But we have been to the then Sheraton, now Sofitel, every year, bar 2021, due to Covid. Since it was built. We are in our 70s, and 80s. Best wishes Mr , and Mrs Stewart

Maybe the pre cooked Brekky, Witch we didn’t have, We love it all

Hotel was in a great location - close to shops, restaurants and beach. Reception staff were very helpful and informative. Room was very clean, comfortable and roomy. Pool was great. Bar pool was fantastic and we enjoyed the cocktails - Nathan in particular was so nice, friendly and cheerful. The hotel bar could close a little later, especially when people are in there watching the tennis final on the big screen.

We were upgraded to a lovely river view room. Pool was lovely. Reception a beautiful space. Breakfast and breakfast staff were amazing.

The original room down on the ground floor next to the path to the pool was very lacking in privacy and ambiance. I would have been extremely dissatisfied to stay in this room. Paying for self parking was a surprise.

We booked the Sofitel for our wedding celebrations and could not recommend them highly enough. Our There was a bottle of champagne on arrive and a complimentary dessert plate. The buffet breakfast and in room dining was second to none. The concierge Corrie is phenomenal, as the first person you meet on arrival, she is warmth, kindness, and sweetness all rolled up into one. I would be proud to have someone as friendly as her working for me. We cannot fault anything about this hotel. Highly recommend.

Always a special experience staying at the Sofitel Noosa, highlights being that pool and swim up bar (frozen margaritas are a highlight!), the location and the stunning staff. Slight downside this time was staying on the village/Noosa side of the hotel - the noise from the nightclub has become a little disruptive. I’d spring for staying on the pool/river side going forward for proper peace and quiet. Still fabulous though!

Nightclub a tad noisy on the village/city side of the hotel

The staff were polite and friendly at all times. It was lovely to have our beds turned down and the room serviced on both days. The hotel is right on Hastings Street and the main walkway to the beach, so very convenient.

Unfortunately, there were ants throughout our room. These went into our belongings as well. The cleaning staff did offer to spray the room, but we didn't want to inhale the chemicals. We were also disappointed/shocked at the cost of parking on site. When you are paying so much for accommodation, you don't expect to have to pay so much extra for parking as well. The hotel is nice, but tired looking. The rooms need updating - particularly the couch, which was very stained. The 'village' outlook from the balcony is of the tops of the surrounding hotels and shops.

Great welcome, lovely glass of bubbles (or a healthy tonic) on arrival. Location, right on Hastings Street, handy to the beach and river and dangerously close to a whole heap of good shopping and great eating. Breakfast, above average for a hotel. The room, large with very comfortable lounge and dining area and small kitchen complete with Nespresso machine, kettle and toaster.

It’s perhaps a little spendier than other local properties but the resort facilities, surroundings and room made it feel like dollars well spent.
