The manager is very friendly, so bad I missed the time to meet his doggy Bonnie who is here sometimes. The atmosphere is great, and it is so close to all the shops.

Not everybody going there is very nice nor respectful to others... A group of people started to be very loud in the middle of the night, jumping in the pool (just in front of our room), screaming, etc, this kind of people who don't accept being told to shut up a bit, even if said nicely... But it is just a matter of bad luck, it is not always like that. :-)

Clean, comfortable, large room with own bathroom, mini fridge, air con, and a TV with Netflix. Parking at the front of the room, with burger and fries style restaurant attatched. 10 min walk to beach and 20min into town. The hot water is freaking hot. You have been warned. Pin code doors means you don't need a key to take with you to the beach.

Well, it's mostly a backpackers accommodation, so it comes with a lot of late night noise. The restaurant has karaoke, and the singing resonates down to the accommodation till 9:30pm. Just turn up the TV and air con to drown out the noise. Minor issues - The rear flywire door lock was broken or broken into. TV remote covers were falling apart.

Nice place, walkable to the wharfs and stores and restaurants. The rooms on the back side have a private patio backing up on a mangrove. We did not take advantage of the pool, cafe or lounge area, but they seemed nice. The place was full of young people and they did take advantage of the common areas and so it was a bit loud at times, but was quiet by 10 pm the two nights we stayed there. It was not a problem for us.

It would be nice to have an electric water boiler and mugs to make tea or coffee.

For a hostel or motel there was a really high standard. They provided multiple towels, soap etc. Also the pool and the bar area was very nice. The staff wss friendly and the room clean. Also you have your sepearate balcony.

The interior was a bit old. This was the reason why the room does not look clean, eventhough it was cleaned very well (rusty lamps and damaged floor). Also I needed a code to enter the room because I arrived after reception hour. They only sent it to me after I called to remind them 10 minutes before the reception closed, eventhough I messaged them several times before that I liked to receive the code.

Low key with plenty of space near the pool to have a few drinks and enjoy the serenity.

Room was huge and enough to store my bike ahead of the race. It was clean and had everything it needed. The staff were beyond accommodating and friendly. The location was perfect for ease to walking to town. I was also doing the bike race in the morning and I doubt there was better accommodation in town for access to the start line. I would really recommend this spot for anyone doing the Grand Fondo! Perfect.

A couch would be nice! But the chairs were just as good. There was quite a bit of noise from the pool area, however it did cease at a "fair time."

Nice and clean room. Good location and the staffs here are wonderful, price is reasonable. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Port Douglas

The room was very well laid out. I also loved sitting at the little outdoor table in the mornings to read. The staff were friendly, very helpful and had a good sense of humour.

It's a back packers and so it was occasionally a little noisy. The kitchen was a bit average; it was cleaned daily so this says more about the guests staying at the time we stayed, not the accommodation itself. Also, this was offset by us having a small fridge in our room, which was very handy and meant we only used the kitchen briefly.

Comfortable bed, nice pool and bistro. We were able to use an iron and ironing board to prepare for a wedding we were attending.

Another guest was smoking in one of the other rooms and set off the smoke alarm during the night so all guests were woken up and had to vacate rooms. However the Management dealt with it appropriately and it wasn’t their fault.

Our stay at Coral Beach was comfortable (especially the beds), clean and great value for money. There were plenty of little nooks to hide away in outside of the room where you could read a book, sun bake or just relax. We all loved the pool which was a good size and depth for kids having a shallower and deeper end. All areas were visible from the comfy chairs to lounge in by the pool. There was a fully functioning communal kitchen The rooms were clean and well thought out with good storage space. You could tell the cupboards etc were decent quality and sturdy with plenty of space. Tom at reception was friendly and receptive to feedback. He gave us a good run down on how best to walk to the beach etc.

There were no bowls in the morning however When we told Tom he put more in the cupboard. There may need to be more fans in outdoor areas as only some have fans however the new people who own it have only been there for a year and it’s on the list.
