The personnel was really nice and helpful and provided a lot of guidance and tips. They also offered to book a transport back to Cairns on the day of check-out. The room/apartment was simple but nice with a little kitchen, a balcony and a dining table. The bathroom was a little bit small but sufficient. The pool at the hotel area was very nice to visit. There was also laundry rooms (detergent came with the room) and possibility to barbecue. The hotel was at a walking distance from both the beach, the harbour and the city centre.

Dirt from shoes transported into every corner, could easily be solved with a mat (both at the balcony door and the front door.

I always stay here when we go to Port Douglas. The managers are always very polite and it is so quiet and peaceful. It is close to the shops and the beach. Apart from a couple of things, I honestly can't fault this place for the price you pay.

The only thing I didn't like, which i don't feel the need to complain about, is we have been put in the same room as last time we stayed and my partner only just fits in the shower because it is a really small corner shower and we stayed for 2 nights and was only given 1 towel each to use for the showers and pool. The other rooms we stayed in near the pool had really good-sized showers. But once again, I'm not complaining because I really enjoy the peace and quiet and the friendly managers. .

Location excellent- close enough to walk to main street, beach and marina. Staff were very helpful with everything including booking tours.

The lighting in the place is very poor, giving it a very dull feel rather than a vibrant feel.

Well placed to beach and nice walking distance to other attractions, had car also so could drive around.

Plumbers need to attend to the 10A-10B room with pipework in bulk head . Every time rooms above or next door flushed or used the water the water hammer in the pipework is really bad. This would wake and disturb us continually. The pipework servicing the units need to be secured better or properly to stop this occurring. Advice from a Plumber here

The pool & spa was a delight and close to BBQ with a seating area to eat. Apartments were very spacious and positioned to see the pool which is excellent when have children. All staff were friendly and really helpful. Very close to beach and walking distance to Main Street. Undercover parking.

We had one apartment on top floor so stairs to climb but no dramas. Floors / skirting boards were a bit dusty if want to be picky, some wet area floors needed a vacuum. The pool outer top wall is very rough and needs recoating.

The pool was warm, which was fabulous, and it was very close to our room. Our rooms were generous in size and we didn't feel at all cramped (family of 5 adults). The lady at reception was warm and friendly. The property is only a 10 minute walk to the main shopping/eating areas and the same distance to 4 Mile Beach. We were very comfortable.

Some of the fixtures were a bit tired - the kitchen sink tap was missing the top and the pressure and temp very low. One of the towel hooks in the bathroom kept falling off. The floors weren't overly clean - needed a sweep/vacuum. Tea/coffee/shampoos etc not replenished during our stay (6 nights)>

Very friendly staff. Well located to 4-mile beach, a 10-15 minute walk from the main stretch of Port Douglas. We stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment and it was very sizable, full kitchen, and in-room laundry facilities. The shared BBQ area was a nice feature. Ended up extending our stay here from 4 nights to 8.

They do upcharge for some basic things. Do you want a pool towel, extra charge. Use of the in-room safe, extra charge, however, they offered shopping trolleys, beach chairs, and umbrellas on loan for free if needed. It felt like these were thigns previous guests had left behind though.

spacious, clean, everything workung properly. the pool areas are very nice.

the weather, half september rained a lot and very windy, and some cleaning not done properly in the ensuite, basically behind the door they did not mop and there was dirt on the tiles probably coming from the little windo open when it rains...

Nice apartment, close enough to the town and the beach to reach them out by walk, and the pools were very nice. A plus the presence of the laundry, that you can use for free

There is no elevator, and I had a heavy luggage to carry to the second floor..and it takes some time to reach by feet the closest supermarket (around 10 minutes)

- kitchen equipment was adequate, but selection of kitchen pots and pans, and storage containers for leftovers etc.. was a bit minimal, but we coped ok. - washing machine leaked on use, meant we couldn't really do our washing during our stay (we reported this to managers)
