The security! We travelled with alot of things tied down on a ute. It was amazing to have somewhere undercover, secure and right outside your room! The parking height was also a bonus as I have a lifted vehicle. Shower after a massive drive was better than ours at home and the clean sheets and comfy beds were like sleeping on a cloud. P.s the brand new fridge in our room malfunctioned (after we checked in after hours) Rang the after hours number and they had it replaced within 15mins!!! Absolutely outstanding guys! I will highly recommend to everyone!

I’ve stayed here previously and I wanted to come back. The park’s security has been upgraded and there is now fencing and a coded gate to help visitor’s safety. The property is conveniently located near shopping facilities and food outlets. It has a petrol station out the front. It’s also within a short drive to the Townsville Hospital for those who have medical appointments. The park is great for families and solo travellers alike.

There’s nothing I don’t like about the property. However it’s important to note that some of the facilities are being upgraded so there are shipping containers in the carpark. However this won’t be forever and it’s to benefit everyone. The only other thing to be mindful of is due to the fact the property is on the main road you will get traffic noise, however I didn’t find it that bad.

The property is in an excellent location. Local shopping centres with pharmacies, major supermarkets and restaurants are less than 2 minutes away. There is a petrol station at your doorstep. Major shopping centres are no more than 15 minutes away as well as the university hospital for anyone needing to travel for appointments. There is an excellent water playground and pool area and there’s a playground area for those with children.

The property is an older property, however for me it wasn’t an issue and over time it is being modernised.

Close to a few shopping centres. Lots for the kids to do, playground, jumping pillow, games room, swimming pool and little kids water park area with slides. Laundry facilities that are cheaper than the laundromats. Comfortable beds and clean cabins. Staff are lovely and accommodating. Asked for extra towels with no problem at all.

This place has character and charisma, just needs a lil TLC and it would be BRILLIANT! My kids and I loved it here. Wifi was not great as per other reviews but I think we all need a lil detox from wifi!

The cabin exceeded expectations. Very comfortable and well laid out. Well equipped kitchen.

We didn't manage to access the Wi-Fi. The signal appeared week, unless we tried to access the wrong network so possibly operator error. Two minor things that would make a difference. 1. raising the microwave a little so the door doesn't catch on the freezer door when opening. 2. Removing the skirting board from the wall beside the fridge as it impacts the opening of the freezer door.

Didn't really see any staff during your stay. Pillows and linen were really bad. There was no were to hang wet clothes or towels after use. The coffee seemed very old. Toilets and showers need to be cleaned more often. For 3 days there was blood on one of the female toilets. Fan and lights did not work properly and dirty air con.

Water park, pool, jumping pillow, great for the kids. Staff responded quickly to a wasp nest. Our cabins were together (2 families).

1. No right turn out of the property. 2. Shower leaked a lot of water, made bathroom really wet and soaked the mat. Think this was due to the shower door not closing properly and no fall to the floor drain. 3. No place to put shampoo etc in the shower, no caddy or shelf. 4. Aircon in main bedroom was noisy cutting in and out all night. 5. Only 5 dining room chairs instead of 6. 6. The 2 slides in the pool were out of order.

Due to flooding I had to stay an extra week, they were able to accommodate and even allowed me to stay in the room I had. The staff was very friendly and always greeted me with a smile and hello. It is located next door to a fuel station. Shopping centres are approx. 3 mins up the road but if you want to visit Stocklands Shopping Centre, it's about 9mins from Discovery Parks. Bonus: the accommodation is right on the main highway. There was laundry services which helped, and whilst I didn't swim in the pool, there were many families utilising the pool and BBQ area and they all looked to be very relaxed and having fun.

Not a dislike, but more of a suggestion - could there possibly be more shelving next to the sink area in the bathroom to place personal items? I always like to bring my own products, and I ended up having to buy a little fold-up table for all my stuff (or maybe I just bring less stuff).

I was attending a Clay Target competition. The grounds are on the southern side of Townsville, so the location was convenient. Parking was good. Security was good. The room was clean and tidy.

Unfortunately, my friends had to pull out, which made it expensive as I had a 2 room cabin and there was only me. There were no other problems.

Room was clean and a good size. Staff allowed us to enter early as we had to deliver our car to Toyota for a service.

Lots of traffic noise from nearby freeways and lights. Fridge rocked and wobbled due to rotten chipboard base. Bathroom door was chipped at the top and needed an air vent so that bathroom extractor fan could work properly. A toaster and microwave would have been handy. Don't recall being warned that we had an upstairs room. It was a lot of work moving our gear up the stairs.
