The reception staff, especially Cheryl were exceptional and assisted me to print documents and went out of their way to find a lamp for my room for Zoom sessions. Thank you Paul as well for assistance with paperwork and trying to tactfully discourage a huge van from parking right outside my door. My room was spacious, cool, quiet, had all the facilities and was a good base for a 3-day online course. Even on busy nights, I didn't hear any noise late at night. I enjoyed the pool. Good secure lock on the door for solo travellers and a really excellent location - minutes from a park and tram stop in a quieter area.

I know older buildings are harder to clean but the bathroom did have some black hairs between the shower and bath. The hospitality staff were friendly but on Friday, two of them were smoking outside my door at a table that wasn't clean. Having a huge truck park very close to my front door made it difficult to sit outside and felt intimidating. I did have a lapse in wifi connection on Saturday which was challenging when I was in an online session with a client. I sent a message before arriving asking about the quality of the wifi but didn't get a message back although I received lots of other messages. It would have been awesome to have access to a coffee plunger at reception. The room was quite dark, so for online Zoom courses would need more light.

We stayed here not even two years ago and it looks like they have refurbished the rooms (although a little bare for my liking). Gary at reception gave me a warm welcome while trying to sort a carpet replacement but gave me information needed. Bed and pillows (as little Bear would say) ' just right' Woke refreshed and ready for a early morning.

For someone who has travelled many places over the years I find the little things make a difference for people returning to the same place. For us a little basket of continental breakfast would be appreciated even for a small cost. We left very early and had an hour and a half drive down south hence no time for cafe breakfast. We noticed many others left at the same time as we did. A vending machine also may be appreciated for the convenience of drinks and snacks. If we had stayed longer, information about the area and transport nearby would be useful. For us it didn't matter as Glenelg had been our home for 60 years and stayed here as near the airport and convenient for our travel the next day. Price had increased 50% since last visit. Is this a sign of the times??

Friendly helpful staff, clean, comfortable. Nice big room (queen and single). Laundry for use of guests. Cutlery, crockery, microwave and toaster in guest laundry Seems to be popular with tradies/contractors as well as tourists

No microwave or toaster in the room, despite room pics showing both. Apparently a ‘safety’ issue - odd that no other motel chain seems to have this problem. But available if needed and otherwise the stay was perfect

The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. Beds were exceptional. The place offered a really friendly atmosphere, mostly due to very friendly and obliging staff. The location was perfect, with everything within walking distance or a short drive.

Only thing I didn't like was the breakfast option, but that's due to my own tastes.

Friendly welcome. Spacious room with a very comfortable King size bed. There is a microwave in the room which was useful, but no plates etc. We carry our own so that was ok.

The room we checked into did not seem to be that which was listed on the site and the breakfast was not provided as shown on the site. We were busy and did not make a fuss about it. Perhaps the listing needs to be reviewed. A toaster was not provided as shown on the site.

The room was very clean, the bed was good, had little trouble with code on door until was shown what to do, then it was easier, staff was great more than happy to help. Car parking was great just outside door which was good for husband who's mobility is not good

TV was a bit touchy , signal drop out sometimes

Friendly, helpful staff,both in office and cleaning staff. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean in presentation. Parking was easy..the bays quite wide. Reasonably close to Glenelg centre.

A few guests forget they are not in their own house or backyard. My experience..Drinking around the pool, arguing, shouting and swearing. Manager stepped in to quiten things down. Comfort Inn should have a policy of zero tolerance for anti social behaviour.

Clean comfort room. Good communication. Very quiet in the room, despite being next to a main road.enjoyed the stay.

No toaster supplied despite being in the room description. The towel rail was missing in the bathroom so nowhere to hang your towels. Not enough power outlets. Only one near the table the other in the kitchenette. So only one device or phone can be charged.

Location was excellent. The nearest tram stop to the city or Glenelg was a short 5 minute walk which we used a lot. Staff very helpful and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Thanks for a great stay!

Only the one day when we arrived back to our room that it had not been tended to!

The place was a good location , two blocks to walk to take the tram to the city and down the beach.the room was excellent especially the bed was so soft and good pressure for shower.

The housekeeping was not that good
