We love staying at the Morphett Arms as we can have a nice meal and also a few drinks. This time however our room was very disappointing, the bin was full of sanitary pads, the pillows had long hair on them. The floor hadn't been vacumed. The tea and coffee hadn't been filled up. When in town this is where we like to stay..

Floors not very clean. Hair on pillows long hair. Tea and Coffee not topped up. 2 day stay and 1 toilet roll. I wouldn't complain to the bar staff, its not their job and there was nobody on the desk the hours we were there over the weekend.

Very convenient to airport, 20 minutes by J8 bus door to door. It's fairly basic as you would expect, but quite comfortable and clean. Everything in the room was as described, and worked fine. The first night (Tuesday) was very quiet and I got a good night's sleep. I'd stay there again.

The only issue I had was on the second night where the occupant of the neighbouring room was speaking loudly on the phone until 1 am, making sleep difficult, but of course, this could happen anywhere. However, the thin walls don't help.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. having meals available on site was a bonus. lots of parking available.

I think they could have toiletries such as shampoo and conditioner available not just soap. Also there were no face washers available.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. If I asked for anything they ensured I received it and the best, you could provide. The meals were also of tasty and affordable and other cliental were respectably presented etc. Love the "retro" bathroom sink and draws cabinetry (your luck, I think it's back in fashion). Staff were not sure how I could get public transport but I managed to get a bus pass (Metrocard) from the bus depot about 10 minutes walk away (the Post Office directed me there) so letting others know that would be good. The public transport facilities around Adelaide were excellent; so easy to navigate with my iphone maps, clear instructions and signage and the staff both at the depot and on the buses were very helpful, on time and friendly. :-). Thank you for a very enjoyable stay for my National Karate Championship being held just a walk away each day from the Marion Leisure Centre.

Just 1 thing. On 2 occasions (at night) I could smell smoke coming from one of the other rooms or maybe drifting from downstairs. Not sure what type of smoke but it was noticeable, however, cleared within about 30 minutes. Not the staff's fault I know but just thought I would make you aware of it.

New updates to this basic pub-style accommodation, including a new reverse cycle air conditioner, good fridge/freezer, and beds were more comfy than expected. Staff were friendly and open to assist when required.

The only thing to keep in mind is they have no lift servicing the accommodation on the first floor, which is narrow and allows for only one person traffic at all times.

unscheduled early check in was met with friendly service and a willingness to allocate my room. bar staff were helpful and friendly. meals were excellent and well priced. complex was relaxing with a variety of seated areas.

room guest parking was not separate or secure from general access, but I regard this as a small issue and has to be expected in a joint accommodation public bar facility.

Location was central enough to where we had to frequent each day. Generally the room was adequate.and comfortable. Shower area was small but useable. Hotel food in the dining area was excellent.

You don’t offer breakfast. You don’t have a lift for my wife who has two fake hips. The floors creaked The bedside lamp exploded and shot glass across the room and tripped the power points but we survived to live for another day.

The location suited us perfectly for what we were in Adelaide for. Aimee was outstanding in the service she provided to us during our stay. Blake also looked after us as well.

Would have liked some shampoo in the shower.

The room provided value for money, the furniture was in good condition, room was very clean and tidy, property was easy to find.

The room had capability to be joined through internal door - while firmly locked there was some minor transmission of noise. There was only limited view from window. Without a vehicle there was a reasonable walk to shops/services. However, in context of the positives, did not detract from the enjoyment.

An older property but well maintained and equipped. A good location. Quiet despite the road noise that was obvious when entering the building, and music from the rear of the property. Comfy bed. Good hot shower. The bathroom is showing its age but is functional and clean. We arrived after normal hours but that was no problem. Overall very good.

Shower and bed. Didn't get there in time for a meal, but menu and dining area look good.
