Of course the location could not be better. Staff were very friendly and the majority of our room was spotlessly clean.

Unfortunately the level of cleanliness in the bathrooms was less than ideal. There was mold in the shower area and the floor drain. The kitchen cabinets did not close and you could tell that the hotel had seen better days. I reckon this place would have been amazing when it was first built but now is looking a little tired.

PLEASE: MAKE THE BATHTUB/SHOWER SAFE!!!! The tub having a curved bottom, along with NO bath mat and tile floors, made the large step exiting the tub HORRIBLE! This is an accident waiting to happen, especially for senior people like my wife and me. For less than $100 AUD this could be rectified. An inexpensive anti-slip mat for the tub, and a simple hand bar at the tub exit, would make this so much safer! The other thing we had an issue with is we could not get the dishwasher to work. Simple instructions would have helped. We don't know if we did something in correct or if the dishwasher was broken.

We had a ocean view room with a balcony, and it didn’t disappoint . The view of the sea and beach was lovely. The apartment was spacious , comfortable and well equipped so if we didn’t want to go out for food we could cook in the apartment . The apartment was clean and serviced on a daily basis and the staff at the reception were very helpful.

A few more pieces of equipment in the kitchen would have been useful such as a sieve and serving dishes. The Coast restaurant on the complex was disappointing, breakfast was sparse and uninspiring. Lovely surroundings but good does not reflect this .

Great Location right on the beach. We booked the 3 Bedroom apartment and found it to be very large with lots of place for the family. Would stay there again.

I have noticed that this property has received many bad reviews due to the condition of the property. I would like to say that overall we enjoyed our stay and the few issues with the room were easy enough to overlook. This property is extremely busy due to its brilliant location and deep cleaning and repairs would be difficult. A detailed audit of each room is due. Without fault the staff from front desk to housekeeping were excellent. Friendly helpful and engaging. Well done all.

There were a few issues with our room. The tv in the bedroom didn’t work. Bedside lamps didn’t work. Loose joinery. Stained grout. Overall the room was reasonably clean.

Love the location - it was exactly where we wanted to be. The staff were courteous & very helpful with some small issues we did have. The room was clean, modern, tidy & well serviced.

The single biggest issue I had with the unit was there was no operating instructions for the combined washer/dryer and no matter how I tried I could not get it to go onto dry mode meaning we had to give our laundry to the reception staff for drying. Lack of some cutlery, crockery & washing up aids were some minor issues but were quickly rectified upon speaking with staff.

The view was superb! 3 bedroom apartment had an issue so we had 2 x 2 bedrooms right next door to each other. Both rooms had an ocean view that made for gorgeous scenery in the mornings. Breakfast downstairs at the restaurant was delicious! The staff at the reception desk were so lovely to deal with. The pool was busy, to be expected during school holidays but it was well kept and clean and we enjoyed the late night dips once families had left. Parking was a little full every day but we always managed to find a spot. Walking around Glenelg in the evenings was fun. The kids rode the giant Skyline Ferris wheel and spent a few hours one morning at the Beach House Amusement Centre and loved it. We stayed 3 nights and wish we had planned for a few more. An absolute pleasure to stay at and will definitely stay again with the family

Ordering room service was a little difficult. Perhaps I wasn't apt enough using mobile apps but couldn't work it out. Instead we found places in Glenelg or went for a drive to eat out

Location overlooking beach. Clean apartment with cooking/oven facility. Very comfortable bed/sharp clean linen! Slept really well. Staff very helpful and professional. Shame about not being sustainable.

For hotel this big should be using sustainable shower gel/shampoo refillables. Adding refillable wall mounted options you would save thousands of plastic individual bottles daily! Being sustainable will not take long for staff to refill either (even if every two days)! Kitchen surface clothes not provided only tea towels. When requested reception issued paper towel tissues to wipe surfaces. We only had tea towel to drain/dry plates we hand washed. Towels do not need changing daily! Ask guests to put in bath if new towels needed! Another sustainable service you need to address. We didn’t use dishwasher for few plates! When we did the cycle we could see lasted over an hour. Please up your sustainable game if you care about doing your part to save water/plastic!

I loved the view and access to the ocean from my unit! This was the highlight of my trip as it had been way to long since I've been this close to the sea <3 The location was also gave easy access to shopping, food, transport and entertainment. I will be staying here again next time I'm in Adelaide!

I did have a little trouble with the WiFi dropping out, but that could also have been because I'm a heavy user of the internet. I was also a little disappointed with the TV, not all free to air stations were available and while there were a couple of Foxtel channels available there was no guide available. I like to zone out at night with TV.

Great location toward the end of Glenelg beach but next door to the wharf area where you will find many restaurants to choose from. Walking distance to the main town area which is great and part of the local history walk. The hotel has a great pool, spa and sauna and its own cafe/bar so you don't have to go far. Parking can be arranged and our room faced the ocean which was fabulous. Rooms are large, clean, perhaps a little dated bit will meet all your needs. Loved the table and chairs on the balcony.
