Balcony On Sixth Lodge

Everything, would easily recommend

There were 3 dirty plates in our cupboard when we arrived stacked with the clean ones. Also found 2 large opened crisp packages in a lower bedside drawer when checking everything before we left….. obviously starched by previous occupants. These were the only untoward things though. We had plenty of whatever we needed, and could see some lovely added touches… keep that up because it certainly sets you above the rest. Pub next door is a bonus too… great meals and staff. Oh, a microwave in our room would have been handy but had access to the general one.

location. near to Sturt Reserve, and woolies. plenty of eateries nearby like Imperial, tasty wok within walking distance.

there's a bar next to it, on Friday nights and Saturday nights it can get quite happening, if you are an early sleeper then it might be a lil loud with people talking and saying goodbye after alcohol unless you have ear plugs. it didn't really bother me though because I use earplugs and I was quite tired when I arrived. other nights it's pretty much pin drop silence.

Room nice, bed comfortable. Shared bathroom very clean. I had to ring to get help finding the place after our GPS sent us in the wrong direction, and when we had problems with the code to enter building and also the room. Rang three times, and the lady was very helpful and patient each time. Location very good.

The entry from outside into building and then into room was complicated with the code not working smoothly, had problems, there was no reception as such, so no one to help other than a phone number to ring.

This is budget accommodation and I was travelling long distance alone so just looking for a place to crash overnight. The place was quiet (not sure if any other guests), had air-con that worked and a shared bathroom/toilet area which was clean with everything functioning perfectly. A typical old-time upstairs pub/boarding house arrangement. Fine for short stays, Very secure. Everything as described was present and staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Parking was fine but in a street location close to a pub so security could be a risk I guess (but I had no issues)

Very Good Price, Clean Easy Access to all facilities, Bedroom Good size 4 posted Bed with a great Balcony. Ideal for a Couple and Single person I will be Back.

Perfect, close to Hotels, Shops, 5 Minute walk to the Murray River.

I didn't have breakfast.

It would have been nice to have a human face to greet me at the site. I found it difficult to negotiate the codes and the door and stairs with my luggage after a very long road drive. A phonecall didn't quite match what a personal contact could have done. No obvious places to park safely.

I liked that it was very private, the rooms were all a good size. I stayed in one of the suites with multiple bedrooms, it was lovely

Easy access to venue, close to a refreshing drink and good feed at the hotel a few doors up, walking distance to mall, Great value

The Stairs where a bit hectic but the comfort of the room made up it

Loved the location , spacious room and cleanliness, older builder charm.

Only the stairs up to the 1st floor but that can't be avoided and only a problem because of our age.

The location was perfect for everything

No people there to talk to with check in and out And the security code system used for your room I didn’t like that as my one (room 9) seemed to fault out
