The location of the motel is perfect, right in the middle of town. But it is set back from the main road a bit so lovely and quiet. The beds were the most comfy of all the beds we slept in on our touring holiday. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed.

We went out for a drive and had dinner, but when we got back all the car parks were taken, so had to park next door in the hotel. This made it difficult for packing the car in the morning as we had to leave very early and still nowhere close to the room to be able to park.

Had stayed here a few years ago but still clean and comfortable rooms, Well situated in the town of Hahndorf SA. This visit was good as well. Well priced rooms and we will return again soon. Thank you !!!

items that you use like knives, forks spoons ect were missing. If you purchased takeaway food and forgot to pick up the cutlery there was nothing to use in the room. We also encountered the coldest day and night in the Adelaide Hills for a few years. Given the very high ceilings in the room if was difficult to heat the room to a good temp. Perhaps a ceiling fan to move the warmer air around would help. Nothing really bad just minor tweeks could make it better.

I liked the size of the room which had a comfortable bed, with extra blankets. There were enough towels. The air conditioner worked well. I liked the little patio at the back. I could park my car away from the main road. The motel is located close to all shops and restaurants.

I could not get to work the hot water tap in the bathroom. The loo was very low.

All facilities were adequate for our needs. We were able to shop for breakfast items close by. There were restaurants.

The room was cold at night and we were unable to adjust the heating but there were extra blankets There was a small step at the bathroom door which was not easy to see.

Location, garden setting lovely, clean, microwave and supply of eating utensils. Would suggest that a tray be supplied, for washing utensils. This would be in the best interest of the owners as it would save water damage on cabinets, obvious in this establishment's bathroom. A pleasant stay.

Beds were worn with hard edges. Husband scraped his elbow on mattress which had some very hard areas,and very uneven, impossible for 2 people in the large bed, fortunately there was another small bed in the room which we used, this was also worn in the same way. An older establishment needing some up grade. The lights fused in the morning, no onsite reception, had to ring the number on booking confirmation, put in a queue then to leave a message, did so no call back, husband found pool operator, who called the maintenance person, eventually made a call again to booking number, then answered and resulted in maintenance person in about 10 minutes. A few hiccoughs but still enjoyed our stay.

The location was fantastic, while the room’s fit out is a little aged the room was clean and had everything I needed, including a reasonably priced room. I would choose here again.

I could hear conversations from the adjacent room, they did speak louder than average! (their secrets are safe with me!!!)

Excellent location close and easy to access from Main Street.

No hot water for our first day and unable to get through to someone on reception. Problem was quickly attended to and resolved that afternoon when we returned to the room. It seemed we were the only room without hot water so it was just unfortunate.

Staff and room character was lovely....stay was pleasant despite bottom negative review.

1 The sofa bed did not have headboard so head was against stone wall. 2. The toilet seat made noise when opening the seat cover as it sgot tuck to the bottom rim and fell off it making unexpected noise.......tricky at night when people asleep. 3. The fridge temp control knob missing and temp control not manageable. Overall it could be better maintained. Sorry!

There needs to be clearer signposting showing exactly where the motel is as we drove around a number of times trying to find it, even with GPS. Eventually we stopped at another nearby motel and asked for directions. The main road was extremely busy, the temperature of the day was very hot and trying to find the motel became a stressful exercise.

Great little room set in tidy gardens. Nothing fancy but had everything we needed and was neat and clean, good shower and bed. Walking distance to everything in town.

Very difficult to find! google location takes you to one of the other Haus properties even though we were searching for the Lodge. Had to go knocking on doors to get directions.
