We brought our own serial with us. The shower head could have some improvement as it was quite blocked. My husband unblocked some of the outlets with a needle, but it does need maintenance more than he could render.

Shower head for sure. Bed was extra firm with no cushioning. We do like firm beds. Room two was a beautiful room and the bed gave plenty of room but just but could have had cushioning. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would recommend The Strath to any of our family and friends.

the location was excellent and the room was very comfortable

our room had the common table and chairs outside and for 3 nights people gathered to drink or have aBBQ..which was fine until 1 night when a group of tradies stayed at the hotel and drank, which the only issue was their loud laughter. I did have to call reception as by 11pm i felt it was ridiculous as i couldnt attempt to sleep. When i left i mentioned it to the girl on reception on our leaving the hotel she was un sympathetic and said "well no one else has ever complained". I felt this was rude and i would sty again but not any room adjacent to the common area!

The room size was amazing. Bathroom was big and had good water pressure. Had lounge chairs and table with chairs. As well as an outside table with chairs. Had fridge microwave etc. Overall a wonderful room, only stayed 1 night but would happily of stayed extra nights.

Carpark was full at night so could have trouble parking in front of rooms but had overflow parking out the front

The communication with the staff was good and information for after hours was clear and precise Very clean and spacious room, comfortable bed, good bathroom with a nice spa bath Good location, just out of town but walking distance in.

The TV was very small, and the limits on the remote to access your own Netflix account etc where not available.

Strath Motel is always great. Spacious rooms, lovely environment and great value for money. The team are warm, helpful and friendly. They are knowledgeable about the area and the attractions around Strathalbyn, Adelaide Hills and the Fleurieu Peninsula . The Strathalbyn Motel is a great base to explore and so close to Adelaide if you need a city fix. We love it.

I like a motel where I can back my car to the door, and just carry my items in. Here the cars were separated from the motel doors by a garden. I was lucky enough to park opposite my unit (No. 2) and step up onto a path then into the unit. Not ideal, but better than everyone else had as they had to wheel/carry their baggage along to the ramp and then backtrack to their unit. Older simpler motels are much better in this regard.

The location was perfect and I loved the little private balcony. It was a spacious room and very clean .

Pillows were odd. The little grate in the bathroom kept lifting up . There were no steps up to the room directly from the car park . While there was a ramp ( great) it was off to the 2 sides and so access was very indirect .

Room was spacious, bed was comfortable, lovely spacious and clean bathroom. Private patio out the back, parking good. Locality was good, easy to get too and rooms very quiet at night. Quite a walk into town, about 1km, but plenty of car parking in the town. Staff were very pleasant

In room breaky available. Purchased mini-bar style goodies from reception. We booked this hotel because of the EV charger out front. It's run by Chargefox, not affiliated with hotel. Elsewhere we have had to use an extension cord hanging out windows, or if lucky an outdoor power point. This is not ideal. When heading back to Victoria we stayed here again.

A lovely, large room complete with outdoor table and chairs for an afternoon drink in this wine-making region. The staff were friendly and efficient helping with advice on nearby wineries, etc. - including the Winehouse in Langhorne Creek (see photos) We will definitely be back, plus bring our friends on our frequent trips from The Lockdown State to South Australia.
