The staff were friendly. There was a band playing in the pub right below my room on the first night there, they let me know at check in to expect music and noise until around 11:30pm - not a problem for me because I had noise-cancelling headphones, but worth knowing that this is a possibility if you are a light sleeper or want an early night. The room had facilities to make tea and coffee. The bed was very comfortable and there was an electric blanket provided as well. I couldn't find a hairdryer in the room (although I didn't ask downstairs). There are a few places to eat nearby. Free parking right outside. Overall, the accommodation was everything I needed and the price was very good.

Helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, double glazing helped make it quiet and energy efficient. Great to have an ironing board andiron in the room. Liked having the screening blinds and curtains. The bed was perfect for me, so comfortable. Plenty of free parking. Wish I had time to avail myself of the nice bar, pool tables and such downstairs.
Reading lights in the ceiling made a low light reading before bed difficult and potentially annoying if there are two of you, lack of power point for kettle in the alcove shelf and not being able to fill the kettle in the sink made that inconvenient, and for those who are photosensitive you might want to cover the very bright white display on the microwave. TV reception did pixilate quite a bit at different times. Odd place for cutlery and plates in closet.

The room was great. Beds were comfortable, the bathroom was lovely, and there were a bunch of great amenities like plates, cutlery, a fridge, microwave and hot water jug. My son especially appreciated the complementary bikkies. We only stayed one night, but if we need to do an overnight in Burnie, we'll happily return here. It was very pleasant.
Finding where I was supposed to go to check in and check out was a little confusing, but the staff were awesome and very friendly, so it wasn't an issue. Also finding the stairs in the back was a little vague, but worked out fine. It was a little noisy early in the morning due to road noise (thin windows?). Overall, all things I was able to overlook.

The room and bathroom were beautiful and clean. The microwave/ kettle were great for drinks and reheating food. Staff were super friendly at check in and there were key drop boxes for contactless check-out. We found the water pressure quite nice despite reviews. I wish I had that bathroom at home!!! My partner greatly enjoyed the chicken tenders from the bar, too.
There were a few strange noises that came from the carpark but we think they were from the bottlo closing for the night. Only last for maybe 10mins. Also, would love if the hotel offered a proper pub feed.

Location was good. Very clean and comfortable
Booked through Bookings.com. Was not expecting staying at the local pub. Their description did not match where we stayed. We were under the impression that it was disability friendly and breakfast/meals were available. The hotel does not have a lift so not wheelchair friendly and they do not have a bistro we had to source our meals elsewhere. Great place to stay if you do not have a disability or not good with stairs. Other than that it was very clean and comfortable.

It was just what I needed after staying in hostels the previous 2 nights. The access to the room was easy from the rear carpark, just up the stairs and my room was just as you came in which was handy. The room was clean and tidy, looked recently refurbished to me. There were lots of amenities which I appreciated. The shower was great, I liked that there was heating from the AC unit and an electric blanket! There were facilities for making tea, a microwave, fridge, iron, ironing board, hairdryer etc there was free WiFi also.
The bed was quite firm and not as comfortable as I had hoped but that's just minor and personal preference. I'd say the spot lights are a bit bright and maybe less bright bulbs for either side of the bed ones would be nice and soft before going to sleep.

This hotel has recently updated their accommodation. As it is hotel accommodation, the rooms are above the hotel itself, so you need to access stairs to reach accommodation. (There is no lift). The room was very adequate and it was supplied with a jug, toaster and microwave plus enough crockery and cutlery. This is an excellent place to stay if you are visiting the Burnie or Wynyard area, as it is slightly out of Burnie. You would need a car to access it. But truly, the best value accommodation we have found in Tasmania. I would definitely stay again.
The hotel does not serve meals, which they are quite open about. However, the staff did point us to where food can be obtained. There is a chinese restaurant just down from the Hotel itself or another Hotel on the main road which serves meals.

Absolutely loved the price for the accommodation you got! Beds were comfy and pillows were fab! Staff were ever so lovely and polite to deal with :)
Washing our dishes in the sink we used to brush our teeth and there was no dish cloth. Also the water leaked out of the shower and caused water to be all over the floor.

The room is very clean and stylish. The staff are friendly. Downstairs has eight ball tables and is a relaxing space. The price is extremely reasonable and is often cheaper than most other accommodation in Burnie. The rooms are really quiet too we didn’t hear any of the noise from the downstairs area. We have stayed a couple of times now and it is always the first place we look at booking when in Burnie.

Good location. Refurbished, modern room and bathroom. Our room number 7 was a great size with a full sized bathroom. Fantastic shower. Comfortable stay overall.
Very clean on arrival but not vacuumed during our 3 night stay. Had to close the window at night as it was above the pub smokers area. Pub closed by 11, which was good and quiet.
