I liked EVERYTHING. From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. Welcomed warmly and given helpful information regarding where to eat. The photos of the room don't really give it justice. Decor was lovely and TV was on with soothing aquarium screen saver with Zen music, just what I needed after a pretty sleepless night on board the Spirit of Tasmania with car alarms going off and terrible beds. Our room was spotless and the beds were extremely comfortable, as I suffer Fibromyalgia I rarely rate beds 10/10, but I do in this case. They even have a pillow menu, I was very impressed. I have not felt as comfortable in a 5 star hotel as I did here. The view was lovely and peaceful. We had breakfast both mornings which was delicious and service cannot be faulted.

It's hardly worth mentioning, it's just a personal thing, I noticed the coffee supplied was Moccona which was great but as I am a tea drinker I always pack some nice Twinings tea bags as I dislike Bushells which is what was supplied and is commonly supplied. (Just a suggestion as everything else was outstanding maybe rethink the teabags)

My request for quiet room was meet. Revamped bathroom was good. Nice hot shower. On checkout was given a travel bag of lollies and it had a $10 discount vouchor which can be used on any future direct booking with them. Communication before arrival with lots of information about area and motel was most useful. Staff helpful and friendly. Room had mini bar and goodies for purchase if needed. Location was excellent with lovely scenic views out front door. Walking distance to town for supplies and eating out. Local sights around the area where in easy travel distance. Good selection of pillows and loved the electric blanket! The carparking outside the unit was convient if a bit tight with a larger 4x4.

Small fridge in room was not satifactory as it wasn't even cold. This issue was raised with staff and they were going to investigate. Needed a newer more satifactory one. Cupboards and wardrobe needed painting to finish freshening of room. The bed covering was very heavy and need to be removed for comfortable sleeeping.. perhaps light ones would work better.

What a gem of a place. The staff were amazing (from admin through to the cleaning crew), the location perfect (short walk to town/cafes/restaurants/laundromat/Woolworths), parking was easy, the room was clean and warm, the bed was comfortable, the water was hot (loved the twin shower heads) and the little extras here and there were brilliant. I’ll stay at the The Waterfront Wynyard again and would have no trouble in recommending it to others.

Comfortable beds and very clean rooms. The location was superb right at the waterfront with a lovely walk you can take around the waterfront. The hotel is just across the road which offer extremely good value meals which were delicious. Also town is a few metres away if you need anything further. You are also given a bag of sweets when you checkout which is a wonderful touch. The front desk staff were informative and very accommodating with places to see while you are staying in the area.

There was nothing at all to mention as this hotel is in a great location close to all amenities and gives you everything you need plus more.

Convenient and pleasant location. Staff made every effort to meet our requirements, which included and extra room and a dog. Area close by across the bridge. to exercise our dog much appreciated. Good choice of restaurants nearby. We visited Table Cape, Sisters' Beach and Stanley. Room was relaxing to come home to.

With my age, partial walking and balance disability, I would have appreciated a handrail in the shower and next to the toilet. Some rooms have a breakfast option and some don't. This was never explained to us beforehand. The extra breakfast charge was rather expensive. I don't see why breakfast option should be related to rooms anyway.

Loved the view, proximity to the water, bed, pillows. Friendly staff and the dining area was cosy. Great app with tourist info. Beautiful buildings in town with flowers on kerbside. Lots of places to see.

That the cars had to be parked outside the front of the room therefore blocking the views from inside. With a whole row of cars you feel packed in. We had 2 very noisy groups beside us that set up outside our room with their chairs and proceeded to party. They were not happy that we asked them twice to keep the volume down. We were thanked by our other neighbours as the whole ambiance of the place was being ruined.

Great location, clean, friendly staff

We were a couple but put in the family room which was crammed with a queen bed and 2 single beds. The queen was up against the wall so the only way to get in our out of the side against the wall was to climb over the top of my partner or climb down/up the bed to get out/in from the bottom of the bed. In contrast our friend’s room had a well spaced room with one queen bed accessible from both sides, and a little sitting area with a coffee table and 2 comfortable single lounge chairs.

Great location, lovely walk along the Inglis River into parks and the town. Pleasant breakfast room with a nice looking menu that included a delightful chia parfait. We didn’t have breakfast the day we checked out, regrettable as it was cold and we would have had a better day with a good breakfast under our belts. 😊🌻

Stayed in October 2020 and the lounge / breakfast area seemed more vibrant, the back lounge area had a fire and flowers etc. This time it seemed more closed up with the back lounge used as a storage area…. But I guess the focus in the warmer months is on the front outdoor waterfront….

The staff were amazing..very friendly..even texting to say our room was ready early if we wanted to come early.. The location was perfect to walk everywhere ŵe wanted to go..the beds were very comfortable..we all slept very well..ready for our walk to the market..which was also amazing and enjoyed by all.. We are looking forward to our next stay within the next month..

There was nothing we didn't like..

The staff were lovely and friendly, the room was fantastic. The little touches made the difference, like when I opened the room, there was a lamp on & the tv had a relaxing screensaver with lively calm music playing, there was a complimentary bottle of water by the bed, there was a pillow menu & Tim Tams! The breakfast was just perfect as well. I would highly recommend this property, exceptional value for money!
