The Dolphin Apartments

The apartment had one of those doors that didn't close properly without having to push it close. Probably due to shifting/movement or just the gap differences between the carpet and the door. It's a cozy place, just like an apartment and is perfect for us during the time as a base around Otway.

Door didn't close properly without forcing it close. Hot water flow can be a bit challenging to sort out. Induction hob needs some getting used to vs. a gas stove. The drier needs servicing (lots of lint and dust) with the filter and the rubber around that is already cracked.

The proximity to the beach and restaurants Not too large and fairly quiet

Not enough comfortable seating in lounge area, considering 2 couples could stay in the apartment A down light in the living room was flickering constantly Glasses China toaster and kettle where stored in overhead cupboard which Being 5ft I couldn’t reach luckily hubby could 2 bathrooms but I shower over deep space bath difficult to access safely if elderly

An amazing apartment with breathtaking views, we stayed in the room 11 which has a huge corner balcony and big living/dining. We were coming after 7 pm and received a call checking if we make it to 8 pm, or we need keys to be left, which was nice. The cot was provided at no additional cost and the beds were comfy and clean. Spa in the bedroom is a nice bonus (although we did not use it). We loved our stay there and will be coming back next time we are staying in Apollo Bay.

The fry pans need to be replaced, as they were with burnt coating, blinds/laundry had a bit of dust (as probably were not used for a while), but these are very little details and only if you are picky.

wonderful penthouse, overlooking the sea, walking distance from most of the restaurants. The apartment was well equipped so we could have easily cooked at home if we wanted to. Owners were a delight and very helpful, assisting with information about local events , good restaurants etc.

Parking is limited to the number of apartments, as each apartment can host up to 4 and sometime 6 people the number of cars to spots is out of whack. there is ample street parking I'm just a lazy :)

The bed was very comfortable, great shower with good water pressure and plenty of hot water, having washer and dryer in the room was convenient to do laundry in evenings, the interim manager, Donald, was super helpful, kitchen stocked with everything you would need to prepare a meal, decent sized tv which was nice since spouse is visually impaired. It is close to shops and restaurants, and ocean walkway.

Nothing. It was perfect.

I love the view and how spacious and modern the apartment was. They replied and accommodated my modification request with beds very fast. There was everything you need and even free streaming which was great with young kids.

We found the remote played up when it was further away from the tv and the king bed was actually two singles put together which made it a little uncomfortable but not too bad.

The place was well maintained, very clean and we had access to Netflix and other OTT platforms. The most important of all is the Sea View from the Balcony.. We loved the place and would love to come back again if we are doing Great Ocean Road trip. We did a late check-out and they were very accommodative that they cleaned all the other properties and said that they would do ours once we leave at the end.

Great location, lovely apartment with nicely furnished big lounge opening to big balcony and bay views. Really good base to explore surf coast, Great Ocean Road and the Otways

Only downside is the petrol station that sits in front of the apartments and which you have to look over to see the view. The big red roof of the forecourt is a blemish on the view but you learn to ignore it after a while.

Location was excellent, very close to facilities and beach. Very clean. Spa bath was a bonus.

No view of any sort. Outside space looked out onto a block wall which constantly dripped water from above so unable to sit outside. Communal bbq was situated in the car park and too dirty to use.

Everything. It was in a fantastic location within walking distance to restaurants, grocery store, shops, and the beach. It was near the places we wanted to visit. The one bedroom apartment was very modern, comfortable, quiet, and clean. The management was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay exceedingly. PS: there were koalas in the trees fronting the accommodation.

We have no complaints.
