I was visiting Phillip Island to attend the world superbike event, for this purpose this place was great, had a 2 bedroom cabin to accommodate us all, was close to both the town and the race track so travelling was smooth and easy (by car). I did not have (or need) too much interaction with the host although was friendly and helpful enough at check in. Would recommend staying here with a car to make navigating the island easier. As we were there for the racing I did not have the opportunity to check out much of the other facilities at this location (like pool...etc. Overall it was a nice stay and a great weekend

Couches in the cabin were a little old and broken but functional enough.

The basic cleanliness of the cabin, the pool and compound.

The living room couches were quite uncomfortable. I found one dead cockroach squashed in the blinds on door by the dining table. Inside of the microwave had a big water puddle left behind. The cigarette container outside was full of used buds and never emptied and it was knocked over accidentally and the smell was pretty bad. Perhaps clean that after each stay.

The place was clean. Beds are very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. The cottage looks much better than the photos on their website. It was bright and full of natural lights. The location was quiet and yet very close to Cowes city centre. All in all, we had beautiful stay at Woodbyn Resort. Will definitely stay there again next time we visit Phillip Island.

I loved the spacious cabin we stayed at, it was very clean and tidy. I loved how it had a washing machine and a private clothes line outside completely private. The kids enjoyed the facilities as everything was kept in perfect order. I would love to stay at Woodbyne again in the future.

I would have liked the indoor facilities to have been open, but it is understandable that it is up for lease.

The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. We did not anticipate that most services on the island were close during Christmas and Boxing Day. Joyce provided us a fantastic solution to our travel planning problem. We enjoyed our stay in the reosrt as well as the day trips around the island. The resort is just 5 min walking distance from Phillip Island Wild Life Park (a must-go for family with kids). The central location makes the traveling to most attractions on the Island very easy, e.g. Penguin Parade, Koala Conservation Centre, beaches, etc.

Location was great and close to everything we wanted to see.from the Penguins to beaches and amenities. The kids loved the pool and seeing the alpacas and wildlife around the property.

The bedding in the main bedroom was a little hard and as there was only air con in the lounge area it would be good to have fans in the rooms to cool them down in summer.

The cabin was so clean and spacious. we are a family of 6 and there was heaps of room for everyone to be comfortable. There are only 6 cabins on the property and they all feel very private from each other. We loved seeing the wallabies roaming freely in the fields opposite the unit. Fantastic location - just a couple of minutes drive from the main township. we will definitely be back - was an awesome place to stay!

Great accommodation, with great outdoor spaces for the kids to use, including a heated outdoor pool and a bbq area. This would be a great place to book for multiple families wanting to travel together. All facilities required for an easy, comfortable stay are provided. Convenient location and friendly staff. There is a split system in the main area for heating and cooling, the bedrooms do get cool. The extra blankets provided kept us nice and cozy overnight. Overall, very happy with our stay and we are looking forward to coming back!

I liked everything about this place, the gardens, the pool, the units, all fantastic. We took the 3 bedroom, super decked out, could have stayed for a week and wish we did. Everything is built around the pool, garden and BBQ. Great playground set up. Kids can play while you have a bbq. So good, we just loved it. Sat on our deck at dusk and the wallabies jumped by.

Its about a 1.5-2km walk from town, not really an issue, just need to plan it.

Excellent location with wildlife around. Real good feeling of a holiday. Pool, kids park facilities available. Lots of place for the kids to run around & play, greenery around. Cottages are clean, toiletries & bathroom supplies good - was provided extra towels on request. Overall a place I would highly recommend for a relaxing holiday.

Mosquitoes and bugs possibly due to the surrounding - bit a few kids during sleep. Maybe mosquito and bug repellents can be kept in the cottages. Also, a vacuum cleaner can be kept in the cottage for self-cleaning by the cottage inmates - If stay is beyond 2 nights like in our case, something to vacuum the carpet/floor would be handy.
