Loved the room, was very spacious, and had everything we needed on hand. Daily housekeeping was a lovely touch! We were very comfortable and the location *chef's kiss*. It's walking distance to the main street where the eateries and shops are - even for my two children (9 & 13). Close to the beach, which had a great playground and BBQ facilities.

Purposely booked the Seahorse due to the pool. However, the pool water was so cold my kids didn't spend more than 2 minutes in there, and that was on a really hot/humid day. They have clothes washing facilities however, the dryer is out of order (there is a clothes line).

Stayed at the Seahorse Motel for 2 nights in late Feb 2024. 10 min walk or 2 min by car to Cowes Beach and Thompson Ave, the main shopping strip in Cowes. Very convenient location. Close to restaurants and cafes. Drove there from Melbourne. About 2 hour drive. Price paid was $180 per night. Very well worth the price. Was greeted by Karen at reception desk who was lovely. There is parking available in front of the room. My partner and I stayed in a double standard room. Room was quite spacious, and very clean. All the staff were very nice. Had all the essential amentities, free wifi, shampoo & conditioner, soap, hairdryer, mini fridge, coffee & tea station, television and extra sitting area. There is also shared washing & drying facilities and an outdoor pool. Originally I had booked for 1 night, but ended up staying in Phillip Island, an extra night. Had no issues with extending our stay there. Would highly reccomend staying there for a trip to Phillip Island.

Great location within easy walk to the main street, shops, cafes and stores. Easy walking range to beach. The kids loved the swimming pool which was heated and the room was cleaned every day. The shower was spacious and clean, and had good water pressure. Staff were friendly and polite. Kitchen area had everything provided. TV and wifi all good and working.

Im fussy with bed softness and the bed I had was a bit too firm for me. Bit pricey but I did book last minute in peak season but price was comparable or lower than similar places (which had no avaialbility)

The location was great-easy drive to the penguin parade but walking distance to all the services of Cowes (restaurants, groceries and pharmacy) as well as the waterfront. Kitchen was well equipped and the main room had enough space that the kitchen/eating area was not right up against the beds.

In the family apartment, the bathroom is in the main bedroom so if those sleeping in the other room need to use the washroom they have to go through the bedroom. Not a problem for sound sleepers like me but might be an issue for light sleepers or a group of friends...

The Seahorse motel is located about 7 minutes’ walk from Cowes town centre and about a 5 minute walk from the beach. We stayed two nights there and found it to be very good. There is a small solar heated outdoor swimming pool and a very pleasant area for sitting outside and having a BBQ. There was ample car parking in front of our room which although medium sized was well appointed with a showe,r kettle, fridge, hair dryer, double bed and an additional single bed and a circular table for eating or working. The owner was very flexible offering to give us a late checkout on our room, which we appreciated.

There is a guest laundry available although we were disappointed to learn that the tumble drier was not working and had not been working for several months.

A very enjoyable stay at the Seahorse. We had a deluxe double room, which was exceptional. Room was generously spacious, extremely clean, and pleasantly presented on arrival. Decor was modern, in excellent condition. Bedding/pillows were comfortable, and blackout curtains were superb. Kitchenette was great, and all electrical appliances, crockery, and utensils were very clean and all working. Glad to see a large TV screen and comfortable sofa chairs. The bathroom was spacious. Shower, tiles very clean and pleasingly hygienic, and added bathroom accessories were welcomed. Overall premises were exceptionally presented, including the BBQ area, swimming pool, and other outdoor facilities. Gardens were well maintained and very tidy. Safe and Good parking facility as well. Definitely recommended the Seahorse Motel, which will not disappoint. We will be back again! Thank you for a comfortable and pleasant stay!!

Excellent location. The family room was comfortable and spacious. We travelled with a 6yo, 3yo and a baby and had plenty of room for everyone’s things and a travel cot. Shower was probably the best I’ve ever used at a motel, water pressure was amazing. Also loved the playground for kids , especially the trampoline. Great value for money, would definitely stay here again.

Loved everything! Staff were super lovely and welcoming, room was spacious, clean and comfortable, location was perfect (went for a great beach walk as it was only ten - fifteen minute walk away!) Best sleep we have had in ages. Also loved the personal parking spot right outside the room! Thank you, will be back again!!!

Hardly a compliant but would’ve loved an additional milk carton to have with our coffee / tea as we found one wasn’t enough

Great location, close to the beach and town centre, but still nice and quiet, immaculately presented both inside and out, modern comfortable room, comfortable beds, great pool and kids play area. The room had everything we needed for a short stay, we'll definitely stay again!

There wasn't anything we didn't like, but if I'm being really fussy, a sink in the kitchenette area would of been easier than washing the dishes in the bathroom sink. And the bed was comfortable but I would of liked a bigger bed, but that's just because we're use to a king size bed.

Central location, clean and comfortable room. Well equipped with kettle, microwave, toaster and fridge as well as iron, ironing board and hair dryer. Wished we’d had time to jump in the pool. Good distance to Cowes town centre.

The tap in the bathroom was so high it caused a huge splash and there was always water spillage. It was a hazard. One of us slipped on the spilled water and nearly fell over which would’ve been devastating injury.
