Location - next to lots of fast food places and close to the train station and mall. Free water in the lobby. Staff were very nice and accomodating. Mostly clean and tidy. Felt safe.

Value for money - the room was very small especially for a queen/double bed. However we booked during a very busy time where limited accomodation was available so I’m still grateful - just wouldn’t pay that much again. Same with the location, although public transport was close by it was a bit out of the city to be charging that much. The bathroom shower was a little bit mouldy in places. Had a lot of trouble with the card keys and had to get a new one each day to operate the elevator and door - we weren’t the only ones with this issue.

The location suited my work arrangements. It was a quiet and comfortable stay.

The pending charge on my credit card that still has not been released after 5-6 days. This is using up funds that I need elsewhere. Why $100 has to be charged instead of $1 to have the card on file, I don't know, but this is an inconvenience that is simply not necessary. I'm unsure what housekeeping were doing but a simple replenishment of raw sugar, despite an empty packet being left on the counter for them to see, was overlooked for two days. Instead a large chunk of white sugar was replenished instead. It resulted in me having to go to reception to ask for raw sugar. Seems minor but attention to detail matters when you've paid for a hotel service and it's clear what the customers preference is.

Would have been nice if the bathrooms were a little bigger. The safety at the premises is very good. There is a problem with the opening and closing of the parking barrier. Once you insert the car pass to enter the Park it doesn't give enough time until you enter. The barrier closes down before you enter. For our safety, I asked my wife to get down at the gate and Insert the key for me so I could drive quickly and then ask her to get in again which I think is the problem to correct for the people who programmed the Barrier gates. Another problem with the keyhole is too low and along with me many drivers I have seen struggling to insert the key while in the driver's seat. IBIS Ilford London has a super parking facility for Guests as well as other Visitors who want to park while they are shopping. They have a camera system to read the number plates open /close the barriers and charge for the number plates.

I like the Breakfast very much. IBIS Glen Waverly is situated very close to the Rail Station, Springvale Road where the bus stops are very close by. If you want to get hot spicy foods, a lot of restaurants are near by. Coles supermarket is very close by. Banks and other shops are also there for your convenience. I love these facilities. Why not come here and stay here for one week and enjoy all of these facilities? I hope my good comments will not lead to an increase in the hotel fares.

Impressed the bed had 4 pillows and extra blanket provided.

The breakfast buffet was most enjoyable. Great selection of bakery delights.

They consistently kept my room clean and tidy, making it a pleasure to come back to after a long day of house hunting. Their attention to detail and excellent service were remarkable, and I am grateful for their hard work. Also I can't forget Nethani and her hard work in the kitchen area Overall, my stay at the Ibis Glen Waverley Hotel was fantastic. The combination of great staff, comfortable rooms, and a convenient location made it the perfect temporary home during my search for a new residence. I am grateful for the exceptional service provided by your team and cannot thank you enough for making my stay a memorable one. Minor things not worth sharing after the above comment

Convenience. We were able to fly in to Melbourne catch the sky bus to Southern Cross Station, then train it out to Glen Waverley station. It was then just an eight minute walk to the hotel with my suitcases on Level surface. We also enjoyed the Ibis Lounge bar and we were able to taste some tapas and appetisers, which were delicious .

Breakfast was great, location great, walked to movies in 5 mins, The Glenn was great for shopping close by. Next time I would eat dinner at the Hotel as options for dinner nearby were limited to only Chinese food options. Very quiet despite being close to main rd

Coffee machine was broken at breakfast so had someone making but felt guilty to ask for a second as he was run off his feet

The staff kindness, how the room was tidy every day by staff, the bed was comfortable, breakfast was very nice lots of variety. The room it self was very clean . Air conditioner was great, The bathroom was very clean, with a large walk-in shower with also a bench seat, which I asked for on the of booking. We liked ibis and will be happy to stay there again.

Would have been nice to have the restaurant open for dinners. On arrival was informed that I had to pay for parking, this is not mention in the booking process.

the parking price was much higher than i expected. staff were good but not very warm or welcoming. the staff member on check out was more intresting in fishing his story to his coworker than attending tot he desk.

Very clean and clever use of space. Relatively small yet had everything I needed and nicely furnished. Great shower head. Good heating. Comfortable bed.

Parking was an additional cost that I hadn’t expected because description gave impression parking was part of the booking. Felt misled about that and not impressed getting extra charges on top of booking.
