Easy check in procedure, even after hours. The staff were very helpful in the lead up to the stay and very friendly on check out. Really well equipped room, having a washing machine is ideal for long hauls on the road. Room was spacious, the furniture and TV pretty good.

Even though everything related to the property is excellent, be wary of the location if you are a light sleeper. On a Saturday night you are next to a late night bar or something, there was a lot of noise from people passing through or people hanging around the front (This was because I was directly adjacent to it). It might be worth requesting a room away from reception if this is a factor. The road noise in the rain was something to contend with as well.

The motel has been upgraded since my last stay but some of this work is still to be completed. Room had access onto lawn & pool area as well as to the parking area. We were only staying one night but the room had kitchen facilities including an oven, washing machine and dishwasher. The restaurant has also been upgraded and was very comfortable.

We were 'upgraded' from our booking for a king room to a 'king suite' but with the additions for the kitchen and appliances there was only room for a double bed.

The motel is located in a central location within walking distance to everything. And the bed was extremely comfortable.

In the shower, the soap, shampoo and conditioner holders attached to the wall were empty, however there was 'globs' of liquid soap stuck on the wall. Also, I guess the previous people who stayed in that room had left an opened and used bottle and lid of shampoo on top of the empty soap, shampoo and conditioner holders. So in effect, the shower had not been cleaned. Others staying at the motel said they had little bottles of shampoo and conditioner in their bathroom. I didn't have these in my bathroom. Disappointed in the state of the shower.

First off, the blonde Receptionist was exceptional. Her attention to detail and customer service was second to none. I've been staying in hotels 3 or 4 times a week all year and this person has blown everywhere else out of the park. This is the first hotel review I've done. When I walked in, I had my work uniform on with my name, before we had said more than three words she had my booking up and ready. After a brief conversation she modified my booking without being asked to a different room with facilities better fitting my needs. Information provided was accurate and to the point. In addition to exceptional service, the room was reasonably priced, included a washing machine, dishwasher and cooking facilities. Honestly one of the best motels I've been to.

The wifi was a little slow, but still usable. There was a tile missing in the bathroom but nothing deal breaking.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. A real credit. We also enjoyed moving the outdoor setting under the trees in the afternoon to sit and chat and read.

It was a little noisy with the renovations going on, and we found that the sound travels from other guests. I think there was some tradies staying there that were up early and chatting among themselves. Also it would be great to have a small shelf either side of the bed for mobile phones, water and bedside lamps (or at least a switch to turn off the main light beside the bed).

Usually don’t have cooking facilities but just the microwaves at motel but here we had the induction heating for cooking.

There was a requirement of side table or bed side besides the bed to easily put your stuff like wallets and mobile etc. There was nothing to hang up the clothes. So a wardrobe would be handy.

Decor was good. However the room I was in had an unfinished or poorly finished bathroom vanity.

Room did not match what was on the website at time of booking. Now I know to receive confirmation of such from any hotel. Imagine buying a 4 wheel drive on line only to see a motorcycle delivered to your address..

The room was clean & comfortable and the girl on reception was very helpful & friendly.

Unfortunately the parking wasn’t guaranteed. You couldn’t park in front of your room as other guests had taken the parking spots. You just had to take pot luck where you could park.

Great selection of movies… a lot of kitchen equipment and utensils

The shower needs a curtain. The shower head and pressure is great but water goes into the toilet area and I was mopping up the water with a towel so I didn’t slip over. A curtain would stop that.
