The location is exceptional, the rooms are amazing, it feels like you’re in a top quality hotel. The bathrooms are very fancy and nicely done. The air conditioning is great. The beds were very comfy. I liked that there’s a fridge, spot for a suitcase, bench space, plenty of room for a motel room.

The pool was atrocious. It should not be open and should not be advertised as it’s not useable. I took my young daughter in as I had gotten her hopes up. We lasted 15 minutes. There was a sewerage smell, the bottom of the pool had slime and the spa area was like a pond. It was really disgusting and would not pass inspections.

My grandchildren were quite taken with the pool availability, unfortunately it really wasn't warm enough for swimming but they insisted on going anyway. The family can enjoy meals within the pool's communal area, should you so wish. No need to always be eating out.

Whilst we arrived and left by train, we had borrowed a family member's car whilst in Swan Hill and it concerned me that there wasn't enough parking spots for all rooms and as a consequence I had to leave the car out on the street which was empty except for our car, so that was a worry. Admittedly, we returned too late to ask Reception if there was somewhere else we could have left the car. Note for next time!

This little Gem of a Motel is located on the main street. No need to drive anywhere as there is restaurants, supermarket and other shops just off from its location. The room was nicely appointed. Bed was comfortable and the and towels were good.

The only issue I had which was not a big thing was there was no hot water in the basin taps. No matter which way I turned the tap above the basin, there was no hot water. Even left it running for ten minutes just to see if I was doing something wrong but nothing. The shower was fine.

The room was spacious and exceptionally clean. The bed was comfortable with extra pillows and blankets if needed. A bonus was Netflix if wanted and fast Wi-Fi connection. The shower was fantastic, great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The location was great, walking distance to restaurants, fast food and shopping center.

Only hanging space for clothing with two hangers but we made do leaving clothing in the suitcase. Apart for that the hotel was exceptionally comfortable.

Rooms were clean, bathroom was modern and large, plenty of pillows. It was pretty quiet even though there was loads of people staying there. Being in the Main Street it’s just a hop skip and a jump to find tasty food any time of the day or if you choose you can pop next door to Aldi. Staff were lovely and easy to deal with. Check in after office is closed is simple and hassle free.

Our grandchildren visited us during our stay. They were very happy to be able to use the swimming pool. Great size and extremely clean. The updated rooms are fabulous and we enjoyed the close location to the shops.

The only tiny thing which could be better (for me, anyway) were the pillows. I love a soft, low profile pillow. All the pillows seemed to be the same level of comfort. My husband was happy with the existing pillows, I will add. Only a tiny negative - no big deal!

Great room layout with a spacious and modern bathroom. Located right next to main shopping strip with lots of choices of dining locations. Staff were very friendly.

Would prefer a bigger bed, unsure if they don't offer king rooms, or just not available. Pool was out of action for maintenance and having a pool was one of the main reasons I chose this motel. It looks like a really nice indoor pool.

Staff were excellent. Very friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect for us, across the road from the train station as family members were arriving by train; and the town - easy access to cafes and restaurants.

A separate toilet and shower would have been appreciated, but the bathroom was modern and clean.

The property is right in the middle of the CBD so it is easy to walk to cafes, the supermarket and down to the river. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable with a ceiling fan as well as a split system. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was excellent. Roomy vanity in bathroom was great. Appreciated being able to park right outside the door.

As has been noted by other reviewers, a lamp would be a welcome addition to the room. The metered parking throughout the whole CBD was unexpected and a rip off though this is not the fault of the Jan Eliza Motor Inn!!!

Room was clean and seemed recently renovated. Shower was excellent. Bed was comfortable but pillows were a bit too soft for me. Breakfast was good and was reasonably priced. I was hoping for a buffet breakfast in the restaurant but looks like it wasn’t available.

Air con was directly in front of the bed so it got quite drafty even on the lowest fan setting. The front door had a gap in the bottom so cool air got in that way and there was little sound proofing too. I can hear loud heavy trucks from my room which was a bit distracting at night but still managed to get decent sleep
