The pool was lovely with the afternoon shade cast from the building with additional seating and BBQ area nearby. The room had a sizable balcony which we ate dinner and enjoyed a wine or two while overlooking the pool and marina and the bed was REALLY comfortable, the best on our south west coast tour. The Sebel is located in walking distance to restaurants, info center, cafes, whale watching cruise dock and a huge shaded playground for the kids. The Sebel also has a little in-house café for that morning coffee and a large balcony above the main boardwalk to enjoy the morning breeze and start your day right before exploring the area.

Sebel Mandurah was an awesome stay. Receptionist was really lovely and welcoming. We were fortunate enough to be given an upgrade with a view overlooking the estuary so great views. Dolphins come in most mornings to feed which was really neat to see. Room was spacious and very clean. Bathroom especially large. Breakfast was really nice as well with the hostess actually sitting down with you at the table which taking your order which was different but a nice touch. The surroundings are really great as well with walks around the marina and man made beach nearby. Will definitely be back.

The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, lovely waterside view and balcony, all staff friendly and helpful, housekeeping service and receptionists excellent, breakfasts superb, location central for all the restaurants etc. and a short scenic stroll to the old Mandurrah town centre. Free car park outside. Not overduly priced mini bar service. Quiet, secluded, relaxing pool area. This hotel gets everything right!

Some people might not like some evening noise from the really nice Pen Tavern below, on weekends and in holiday periods. However, it was not excessive or too late in the evening.

Location is excellent - so close to everything - lovely spacious room

The entry to the hotel is confusing - we approached the hotel from the waterside/boardwalk, alongside the restaurant "The Penn" however this is not the main entrance to the hotel which is in fact on a different street at a different level to that on the boardwalk. The instructions of how to get in the building were lacking, however it was all sorted out when we called the hotel on the phone and they then came down to that entrance door and we were able to get in the lift that took us to the 1st floor where the mail reception was. Maybe a sign and intercom to reception on that outer door would be helpful.

We had a one day staycation to see the Christmas lights in Mandurah. The receptions staff were welcoming and helpful. We had an accessible room on the ground floor. It was comfortable with a good view of the river. Amenities were basic but sufficient.

The outdoor table that was looking old and tired. A pair of indoor slippers would be good too. We don't like walking in and out of the room with shoes.

Room was very clean. Bathtub was big enough for 2 people and small child. Very large balcony which was nice.

Upon checking in the employee was very blunt and was obvious didn't want to be there. We ordered drinks from 24/7 room service we were instructed we had to go downstairs to order as there was one one staff member on when I got down the work experience girl was instructed to take my order but didn't know what a jacks and coke was or 150 lashes beer so I had to write my own order down was then told they would bring the drinks up which in my opinion defeated the purpose of coming downstairs to order and defeated the purpose of "room service".

The spacious, welcoming room with minimal décor and clutter, and the friendly, accommodating staff. Loved how clean everything was, including the balcony and its furniture -- two things that I often find a bit grotty at other hotels in WA. The view over the water is very calming at all times of day. Also very happy with the way toiletries are provided in wall-mounted pump bottles, to reduce plastic waste. Great choice of products, too!

It would've been nice to have an electrical outlet by the bed to charge devices while watching Netflix, and I think couples travelling together would prefer being able to switch their bedside lamps on and off independently of each other. At present both sides operate as one. The bedside lamps also shine onto the floor BESIDE the bed rather than the bed itself, making it a rather interesting and acrobatic experience to get enough light onto one's book at bedtime. But these are microscopic niggles in an otherwise spotless (like the room!) stay.

Super clean and comfortable Clean gym Nice, large pool Central location Quiet, considering it was during a busy period

The mini-bar has to be ordered downstairs. I was told because of covid, but this is really behind the times. I haven't had this experience before and I have stayed at a lot of hotels. It was a surprise considering you pay so much and don't get the service. Parking.... again, if i'm paying as much as I did, I would at least expect hotel parking, not public parking that everyone ended up fighting me for. I was forced to stay out for hours till I could return later in the day. This was during the Mandurah Crab Festival. I had no idea it was on so it was just unlucky. Just a shame the hotel offers no private parking anyway.

Liked the position and proximity to the waterfront with lovely views.

Was a little disappointed the hotel had no restaurant or bar. Lounge couch had a large stain on it which really needed to be cleaned. Wasn't very impressed about having to use the public car park adjacent to the hotel which wasn't secure and almost impossible to find a spot on a busy day. Although there was a tavern and restaurants next door to the Sebel most were closed during the day. Stayed in many Sebel hotels in the past and if I had known it had so many negatives I would have stayed elsewhere for the sake of the position and money.

My husband had a kayak marathon in Mandurah hence why we stayed on the weekend. My husband requested for his kayak to be stored safely for the 2 nights that we stayed to which the staff were very accommodating by storing it in a function room that wasn’t being used. The kayak was not damaged and my husband was happy with the service he received from The Sebel staff. We went to investigate the thrombolites at lake Clifton and found a giant too.

It would be nice to have knives and forks for us to use when you bring food back to eat in your room. The movies on the movie channels were all violent or drama nothing much there to make you laugh.
