This place has a great location! Skibus stop in front of the hotel, train station for skibus to hintertux glacier in 5 minutes walk and parking in front of the hotel. I saw reviews about noise- but we did not have any. Maybe these people were not lucky. Hotel's breakfast is simple but nice. The hotel has a great warm room to dry ski boots. Also, there is a nice bar with a friendly staff and pool table. This place is really great for its price.

I do not expect from the hostel to be like a 5 star hotel. Towels were changed not often, and the room has no tv. Also, there is only a bar and to have dinner you should go outside.

Everything, staff was friendly, location was great, met some cool travellers and had a blast. Ended up extending my stay.

Great common area, billard, darts, board, line to walk, bar, make it easy to get to know new people and have a truly vivid international vibe. :) Helpful staff. Good location, ski bus at the front door. Good place to store ski boots and skis. Sockets and lamps near each bed.

It was freezing in the toilets and quite cold in the bathroom and room. Maybe also some curtains near the beds would be useful and a possibility to order even a simple dinner. There was a possibility to buy a ski pass, but it was sold to me with wrong validity date for the same price which put me in trouble the last day as I couldn't enter the ski lifts.

The dorms were perfect for visiting hikers. The design makes them feel more private than expected for such a large space, and the crowd staying there was just really kind and considerate (minimal noise etc.) Staff was super helpful!

The ratio of bathrooms (in particular showers) to dorm guests wasn’t ideal. Noticed a weird quantity of spiders, but that sort of makes sense for where it’s located. Probably noticed that because it was otherwise pretty clean!

Staff was super friendly and helpful! Location is very convenient: close to the central train station and there is a ski bus stop right in front of the property. (Line C in both directions: to Penkenbahn, to Horbergbahn) There is a lot of space inside the property. There is a kitchen which has electrical stoves, microwave, lots of pots and pans.

Awesome friendly staff, so helpful and welcoming. Such a cool location and history about the place. Was not that busy when we where there but seems to have a great vibe with bar downstairs.

The only thing I didn’t like about the property was the fact they didn’t have a shared kitchen.

I loved the "old hut" style, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and guests, chill out bar, hot shower with high pressure, quiet rooms.

It is not a luxury resort, rooms are extremely spartan and basic, but the overal feel compensates everything especially if you are under 30 and single .

The staff were veryyy friendly, exceptional hospitality. They were very kind, not strict and very tolerable! This place should be full of guests! Definitely recommend to everyone I know.

Everything was good and perfect. The kitchen is very well equipped, toilets and bathroom were full of amenities. Everything was just perfect

Stayed in a 4-bed alao. Super chill place to stay. they offer all needed facilities to store your gear. Mostly for young people. Nice bar to have a drink and play pool.

Then oven was deactivated due to fire regulations. Some essentials were missing such as dish and hand soap.

Loved every minute at the hostel the staff were absolutely awesome! And it was so easy to meet new people and a few friends on my stay! I will be back here every time I visit Mayrhofen! 100%
