Wonderful hosts - Katharina had great suggestions for walks. Nice, quiet location with just the roar of the river at night, yet very near the rail / bus station and restaurants. Spacious room, balcony to sit outside in the evening, and a good shower. Fantastic sauna and natural pool, which were a real highlight after a shorter walk one day. And great gluten- and lactose-free options at breakfast, thank you!

A kettle for making tea in the room would be lovely! (But we had brought our own mini-travel kettle)

Very nice and cozy place. Personnel were super friendly and kind! And there was no issue even we had very late arriving to hotel. Sauna was super! It's not self-evident that you get good sauna experience outside Finland. Location was nice. Short distance to town center and easy go by car or bus to ski resorts.

Some small bar or vending machine would be nice in hotel.

Outstanding location Close to the train station and therefore the local ski bus 15 minute walk from town Good sized room for 3 people. Clean and very tidy Breakfast was good Staff were very helpful when we checked in

It is maybe on the more expensive side as it’s not in the centre of town. If you do not mind a walk into town for dinner, or to the train station for the ski bus it’s fine. If you have a family or struggle with walking, it could be an issue

Super location near the centre. Electric vehicle charger at the property. Free parking. Easy access. Very nice owners/staff who give good advice as what to visit. Clean. Good breakfast. Nice playground for children.

For those who have trouble with stairs: there’s no lift.

Not quite early enough as the lifts open at 7.30am so if breakfast only starts at 7.30 you have to go without breakfast if you want an early run to miss the other skiers.

When I checked in, I should have paid my local tax fee as it was a real panic to pay it on the morning I left. It was early and no one was around to organise it.

Great family run property. The owner went out of her way to order me in food for a local restaurant and have it delivered when I couldn’t figure out how to arrange this. Excellent and friendly service all around. Highly recommend!!

Not a negative but it’s a little further out but this is more than reflected in the amazing price and great value for money.

The hotel was definitely great, and exceed our expectations. Super clean, great location, the host was incredible friendly and arrange everything that we could have a great experience in there. Would recommend t stay in there 10x if would be possible here :)

The personal welcome we received from the host. The convenient location of the Zillertahlban station and the centre of Mayerhofen with the many high quality restaurants and cafes.

The swimming pool and sauna was excellent. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with great views.

I'm not a fan of Austrian breakfasts in general; too much processed foods, tinned fruit, cereal, dry pastries, processed meats etc There was a few fresh vegetables, cucumbers and tomatoes, but I'm a health freak and would have liked to have seen more fresh vegetables and fruit.
