Clean, comfortable, beautiful scenery, well equipped, decorated nicely

Well... the description said it was 4.4 miles from Neuschwanstein Castle but in reality it was 26 minutes away. I feel this description of the location was misleading. It would help other travelers to know this fact. My purpose was to get close to the castle, not further away from it.

The location is simply fabulous, with endless possibilities for hiking, biking, lake swimming and other. The staff was really friendly. It was very quiet, yet no one frowned upon our children. There were a lot of toys to borrow and a small playground. We had a ground apartment, it was ideal for us. Breakfast was rich, with some different specialty every day. Apartment was well equipped. There was a microwave, coffeemaker (two types!!!), coffee, tea, salt and pepper. Soft beds. All in all, we were exceptionally happy about our stay!

Wi-Fi could have been stronger. There was no sharp knife in the apartment kitchen, apart from bread knife. Both really small things not hindering our enjoyment of the place.

We booked a studio apartment which was comfortable and well equipped. Our friends booked a one bedroom apartment downstairs which had a lovely outside seating area. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The place had a lovely atmosphere. We didn't have breakfast but our friends did and they said it was superb and well worth having. Also, the reception staff speak English which was a bonus for us.

The location is fairly remote if you are walking the Lechweg and looking to buy provisions to cook or you want to eat out. We did walk to the local town to buy provisions and sat outside our friend's apartment enjoying a simple dinner of pasta with sauce and salad. Walking to the shops was a bit tiring after walking all day but we enjoyed the peace of the location.

I liked everything. It is literally the best place I ever stayed. Bonus point for the cycling theme they have throughout the hotel. As we been here on Easter they made a special Easter cage for breakfast and they had some chocolate eggs a really nice touch. The breakfast was great , very nice choice of everything, including fruits. Just to add this is the first place I give all 10 rating even if it is not a 5 start hotel or anything like that.

Beautiful location with very cozy modern rooms with all the facilities, good coffee machine, fridge and cooking facilities. Lovely owners too! Very quiet and excellent location if you want to hike, hike or rock climb. I particularly like to mention that it’s really nice to see that this hotel is making a nice attempt to be more eco friendly and encouraging guests to do so too. Will definitely try to stay here longer next time!

The pool is Nice on hot days, everyone is friendly but in particular one guy (nog sure if it's the owner) was extremely helpful, always with a big smile. He let us use the pool and sauna a little bit earlier then the official hours (we appreciate this flexibility) and gave tips on what to do. We rented e-mountainbikes of very good quality. The breakfast is really fantastic!! Beds where comfortable. Located in a little village near bruneck, supermarket and bakery very close.

We stayed in An appartement one block away, the rooms are a little bit outdated bug everything we needed was there. I think the rooms of the hotel itself look more beautiful and modern (on picture at least)

Surroundings are beautiful. What a blissful place on the edge of town... Friendly staff and very helpful. Everyone fluent in English. The hotel lent us some bikes to take out and do some sightseeing. The gym was a very pleasant surprise and well equipped. Room was amazing. We were there in a rental car, so we had no problem to get there or leave, but I do think it might be far away if you were to use public transport.

I wish we had stayed more than one night. Will love to go back for another visit.

Nothing of value to mention.

Location was right on the Lechweg hiking trail, although a 25 min walk from the next bus stop. Focus is on cycling and the decor reflects this, but also reflects a lot of care put into this hotel, and a definite aim for what they want to achieve. A big thank you to the staff for giving me a reduced (1 person) price when my travel partner had to cancel due to illness, so I could refund her a little money, which was nice to be able to do after she had to go home early.

Was great

We had an apartment, which was huge and had everything you'd need. They have really thought of "the active traveler". Unfortunately we didn't have good enough weather to rent bikes but it felt like a good option to have. Our balcony was also very spacious. Even though it was raining during our stay, we could still stay there and enjoy the views.

The mattress was too soft (perhaps it's a question of taste but it didn't feel firm enough).
