Smooth checkin, the room was spacious with a spectacular view. The restaurant at the top floor has also an amazing view and the breakfast was great. The staff was helpful and kind. Parking lot is behind the hotel, and very convenient for anyone who comes by car.

We ordered some drinks and pizzas at the bar, and wanted to pay the bill by credit card. We were told they accept only cash which we found a bit weird in a 4 star hotel. Also we were not told by cash payment when we ordered, and also was no sign anywhere on this. Since we have not had any with us (just spent all in the Christmas fair), we insisted on to pay with card or asked them to put it on our room bill. At the end the waiter allowed us to pay using the machine from the reception.

Looks as though the overall renovation not yet complete: dark reception/no decoration to make room more homely - especially for Austria/poor quality towels Room not properly serviced - replacement mineral water/emptying rubbish bin Terrible signage outside for the café/bar. Gives "cheap" impression No indication of hotel name visible to arriving guests below 15th floor I should like to write more general comments, but where?

The location next to Salzburg main railway station worked best for my travel plans. I accepted the fact that I would have to walk/ bus to the Mirabellplatz and the Aldstat for other activities. The 15th floor restaurant had panoramic views over the city and made for memorable breakfast views, and the breakfast service was comprehensive and generous.

The ground floor bar-cafe was less than I expected. Also, the room prices seemed high.

We come here every year and the hotel is perfect for our purposes. It is located right next to the train station, which is very convenient. Furthermore the staff are friendly, the rooms nice and spacious, beautiful view and very nice breakfast. All in all strongly recommended!

Cannot really think of anything. Perhaps it should be noted that if you are planning to visit the old center, this hotel is not located right next to it; then again, buses and trains are departing from right in front of the hotel.

The best thing is the view from the room’s window! And also it’s just next to the railway station - good and convenient. By walking it takes 20-30 minutes to get the tourist zone, there are also lots of buses to take from the outside of the station.

It’s a pity that the restaurant/bar on the highest floor does not work normally - only open for breakfast time.

We chose this hotel for the convenient location near the Salzburg main train station, literally a block away. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The A/C was greatly appreciated after a hot day. The staff were friendly.

The bed was a bit hard and the room was very small. But for one night, it was tolerable.

Fourth stay at this hotel, and enjoyed as always. Great view from the rooms and rooftop restaurant, nice, spacious, and comfortable rooms, good breakfast, and generally very nice staff at both reception and the restaurant. The location is excellent for train travellers due to the hotel's proximity to the central railway station; very convenient!

As pointed out in earlier reviews: this hotel may not be a first choice for tourists spending longer periods of time in Salzburg, as it is a bit further from the historic center and it perhaps does not have all the facilities that hotels in the historic center have. However, distances are rather small and the central bus and railway station are right in front of the hotel. The breakfast times listed in the brochure in our room were wrong, which almost made us late for breakfast. That was a bit annoying. Otherwise, everything was great!

Location was very ideal as very near to Bus and Railway station. Breakfast was excellent with lots of varieties and an excelllent view. Very supportive staff and quick to take any action requested.

Never listen to the recommendations suggested by their staff for dinner to a nearby restaurant which we fell for and was disgusting.

There were 15 of us in my family for a three night stay to celebrate berate my 70th birthday. Everything was perfect for us including reception staff and room staff. The only complaint was with the staff in the beautiful dining room where we had breakfast. We found them quite rude and we felt as if we were being rushed. I told the man in reception after the first 2 days of that and on the 3rd day they were much better. The female server was pleasant and friendly but I felt the male servers had attitude. Apart from that our stay was wonderful

The room is big enough, spacious and clean. The location of the hotel is good, 20-25 minutes walk from the old town. The breakfast at the hotel was incredibly rich and delicious, it exceeded my expectations. The staff is very kind, we received amazing service. I heartily recommend it.
