Easy 10 min walk from main train station. Also about a 10 min walk to great cafe for breakfast.

Online check-in is tricky. Good WiFi in site fortunately to log into site/email. Person on-site rude & refused to help as was leaving. Able to reach someone on phone for assistance. Next day helped 3 different people maneuver check-in process including one couple who needed to borrow our phone since theirs not working. HIGHLY RECOMMEND checking in when someone on site or make sure you can make calls within Austria in your cell. After initial check-in was easy to access room.

First time when I book hotel from booking.com. I just book very quickly the two room without checking the reviews from other customers. Later I read all the reviews from others those who stay in Plaza INN. I was really very scared becoz I already paid and 80% reviews are negative. I can’t book look to another room. So I just chatted with hotel. Just told him/her that please make sure our room will be clean. And I was really happy that I choose Plaza INN for four days stay in Salzburg. Really superb… the room and the view, bed, cleaning and also there’s enough towel.. everything was really super. 🥰❤️

Only i don’t like about the hotel is reception is always closed.

The Plaza Inn is located at the heart of Salzburg. You can just walk from the train station to the hotel and walk to all tourist attractions. There are plenty of good food options nearby. The rooms are spacious, well furnished and well maintained by housekeeping staff.

My biggest complaint is the check-in process. There is no one in the reception during certain hours of the day (which is understandable if staff are not there at night, but at day hours it is really a no brainer) and they have put a notice board with a phone number to connect to in case you arrive at those hours. When I arrived I called the number 4 or 5 times before someone picked up. But after that they were very prompt and sent someone with the key. Also the elevator goes from the first floor and at night the elevators do not run. So if the hotel management expects everyone will be at their rooms by 6PM at a tourist place then they are making a big mistake.

very convenient location, close to the train station and a short walk of 10-15 min. along the beautiful river promenade into old town. staff was really nice, quickly helping us to change rooms (room 305 didn't have a reliable WiFi-connection). towels&soap provided, nice big TV.

The rooms are either facing the main road which is a bit noisy or the court yard where there is a restaurant terrace located which also is noisy but the restaurant closes 23:00

This was our second time in this hotel which shows we liked it also first time. The location is great, close to city centre, even closer to train station. Around the corner was bakery, room was quiet, clean, you have space for your stuff. When you arrive to reception just call the number and they'll let you know what to do. If we come again, we'll probably stay here again because it's great value for the price.

Cold room a little although the heater was on maximum. Bathroom was ok

Everything was perfect and well prepared.. Location .. check-in .. .. room service .. furniture and tiolet design and most importantly and thats why I choose thia hotel was for: 1- Bidet 2- Zell Am see/ card attractions card

Just two comments .. A- The pillows was discomfort .. I have not seen such one in any other hotel before.. you feel that nothing filling inside .. B- My room was in basement.. thats fine .. however the window had no insects/ mosquitoes net so I couldn't open at all .. just please install the net so your guest can enjoyed the fresh air.. thanks alot

The reception guy was very friendly and helpful. He gave me spot-on advice how to tour the city in late afternoon and evening and arranged out-of-hour access and baggage deposit to meet our special needs. I couldn't have asked more. The location is excellent, you can walk to the central train station and city centre easily. Good value too, so happy with our choice.

The location is perfect. You can walk to the main train station in 5 minutes and the bus line 1 is stopping almost in front of the hotel, taking you to the Messe in less than 15min. The historic city center can also be reached by foot real quick by walking next to the river. The receptionist was really helpful by switching our room as we arrived earlier and the original one wasn't cleaned yet.

For the price the facilities were a bit too hand-me-down. You could still hear the street from the courtyard-faced rooms. The vending machine at the reception wasn't accessible in the evening when we could have used some water to drink.

The fridge in the room - use of the saunal

I was in room 225 above the bus stop on the road outside - there was a distinct smell of cigarette smoke more in the corridor outside the room / as well as at times inside the room. My hunch is that it is from the people stood smoking at the bus stop ( I’m amazed how many do this in Salzburg) I reckon that when you try & vent the room to cool it down ( as it was stiflingly hot even in Apri) I think the smokers smoke from the bus top rises and gets drawn into the hotel via the open windows. - quite unpleasant for non smokers - maybe great for smokers wanting a free- drag !

THe location was perfect and the facilities were comfortable and well suited. Just a recommendation, it should be somewhere notified that all the access to the hotel is done via online (in case someone has no internet or even phone battery :P). But, all-in-all, excellent stay in Salzburg. Close to the train station and to the city center (15 min walk).
