Breakfast was sumptuous and you are aways greeted by friendly staff at the breakfast room. The people are the bar were also friendly. The view at the breakfast room was superb, overlooking at the old town and Fortress. Rooms were quiet even though its facing the train station.

There is a particular staff at the front desk that has spoiled our overall experience in Arte. Everyone and everything has met or exceed our expectations except this man at the front desk who is extremely unhelpful and condescending. When I asked for help around the city when we first checked in, he was even reluctant to tell me simple things like the opening hours at the market. And on another occasion when we asked for an ice bucket, he simply responded they he cant bring ice, but stopped at that. We have to asked him again if there is a place we can get ice, then he said at the bar. This guy shouldn’t be at the front desk and spoil the experience of guests and subsequently provide a bad review because of this one person.

great location, we booked an Extended studio room and we were very happy with our choice. we had close to a 180 degree view from every corner of the room. the room had good natural light and was quite large 33m2 the mini bar was included in a price which was such a pleasant surprise, and they topped it up every day as well the room has wireless charging too the hotel 3-5 minutes walk from the station. and maybe a 15-20 walk to all the main attractions in the city. we managed to do most of our site-seeing by foot from the hotel with our 6 year old if we visit Salzburg, we will most certainly stay here

breakfast was alright, would have been nicer if they heated the croissants so that it would have been nice,warm and crispy. i dont think room service actually vaccume the room, we were there for a week and didn’t feel like they did Do keep in mind that the shower does not have a door and its an shower, just be mindful of it, i wished they at least had a curtain

Nice view from the top floors, make sure you book s bigger room on the higher floors - it is worth it. The rooms have large windows with handy window blinds. The room festure a good bed for a good night sleep. Easy access from the parking garage. Breakfast offers a variety of selection (perhaps not the best quality though).

Cleaning of the room would need some improvement: dusty surfaces and floor (socks got very dirty), toilet wall with splash and splatter marks - yuck! Not the most welcoming staff at the reception. In general the staff felt very disinterested making the customers experience positive. Unfortunately a cold and not likeable atmosphere.

Pillows flat and a little uncomfortable. Room not cleaned, a housekeeping assistant tried to enter room at 9am, we were still in room, left hotel around an hour later, spoke to reception and requested our room be cleaned etc. when we returned, later in the day. The room had not been cleaned the had just topped up the mini bar This was on approx the third day of our stay.. There seemed to be some confusion about housekeeping because our room was only cleaned once at the beginning of our stay.

Location was great, next to the train station and about 15 minutes walk to the center, shops and cafes were right downstairs so this was a great advantage. I liked the room, it was really comfortable and AC was great. The staff were accommodating and helped me change the rooms so I can have the two rooms close to each other.

The room wasn’t perfectly clean. Upon checking in, we found used items in bathroom’s trash can from the previous guest. The room lacked slippers and kettles which you have to ask the reception to provide. The kettle were given as a loan and I had to pay €20 deposit, which is a bit annoying.

What a fantastic stay we had at the Arte Hotel! Our room on the tenth floor had an amazing view overlooking the lovely castle on the hill and the rest of Salzburg - breathtaking. Comfy bed, great shower, nice and warm with a thermostat to control the heating. Very modern. Buffet breakfast was superb - one of the best we've sampled in Europe, and again, the views from the dining room were spectacular. Staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money, walking distance to the old town. We bought a 3 day Salzburg card which offers you free entry into most of the tourist attractions - such good value - we saw far more than we would have done, and if you visit in the summer, more things like the river cruises and Untersburg cable car would be open, which would be definitely worth doing. Attended a Mozart concert in the Marble Hall in the Mirabell Palace which was an incredible experience - can definitely recommend that too. We loved Salzburg, the most beautiful city, and we loved the Arte Hotel too.

It was all wonderful!

This is located right next to the train station, which was perfect for us. It's a 15 to 20 minute walk to the old town of Salzburg, or a short Bus ride, there is a stop a short distance from the hotel. The hotel is beautiful, we were on the 9th floor and were treated to beautiful views of the mountains opposite, and of Salzburg Castle, although this is only at the back of the hotel, not the front. So maybe request that if you wish. Trains run right outside but the rooms are soundproofed and are nice and quiet. There's a free minibar as well, which was well received. This is a great hotel for staying in Salzburg, a little bit cheaper than most, ideal for the train station, and the bus station, which will take you to the airport.

Excellent hotel close to the train station and the old town with spectacular views from all window rooms. The room was spacious, we got a room for three, so it was big divided into half by the bathroom. The minibar is stocked with drinks and snacks every day free of charge so that was a nice touch. The sauna was very private and convenient you just have to ask the front desk and they start it for you and in 20 minutes you can have a wonderful end to your day. The breakfast was very rich and delicious and the staff was extremely helpful and kind.

The toiletry could be expanded, there was just soap in the bathroom, no lotion, no conditioner

The hotel is conveniently located near the train station and the central bus terminal, supermarket is not far, the old town is within a nice 15 min walk. There are plenty restaurants around. Our room was clean and had a nice view over the city and mountains. The breakfast was great! There were many different options for any taste, but the range didn’t change much for the five nights we were staying here. The restaurant and the bar have an extremely nice view! The minibar was refilled every day for free! ( included in the price)

Only very minor things like: The room appeared a bit smaller than we expected, but this was not a big issue for us. Some bathroom items like cotton ear pads were not ‘refilled’, but again, we survived)

The hotel is perfectly situated at the Hauptbahnhof, making travel effortless. The sleek silhouette of the building stands out, making it easy to find while walking. The staff is superbly friendly, the rooftop bar was such a nice touch, and the room was modern, comfortable, and quiet. Overall, this hotel surpassed our expectations, and I wholeheartedly recommend them for those travelling by bus or train.

Bring your own toiletries; the shampoo is a body wash/face wash/shampoo combination, which dries my hair out terribly. The room is a bit cozy, but nothing insurmountable!
