I loved how private the apartment was, central placed, it was only 7 mins walk to the Belvedere Palace, 20ish mins walk towards most of attractions and generally it was really nice, modern, had everything you wanted in it, ironing table, iron, hairdryer, even coffee and they welcomed us with a bottle of prosecco. I want to mention the bed, OMG everything was so comfortable, the duvet and the pillows, I had a hard time waking up to get my flight! We regretted afterwards that we only booked 2 nights, we should have booked 4.

It wasn't a major issue to us, it was a small inconvenience with the fridge ( ap 403) that wasn't working properly. We only stayed for 2 nights, if you are planning a longer stay it could be problem. But it didn't bother us that much.

We loved the location in a working neighborhood close to public transportation. The room was large and comfortable. Check in and check out was simple. Our questions and requests were answered promptly by email and phone. The neighborhood recommendations were so helpful and we were supporting local businesses! We hope this concept of reclaiming old retail spaces catches on!

It would have been nice to have a broom available to sweep the floor between cleanings since the room opens directly onto the street and we were tracking in gravel. We simply removed our shoes and put on slippers when we entered, so it wasn’t really an issue.

The location is really perfect- a 5 minute walk from the train station, belvedere and the metro. It feels very safe even though the front door opens out on to the street, the area is quiet and residential. The bed was like a cloud and I slept like a dream every night. The apartment is decorated very nicely too.

We turned the heating on one day and when we went into the bathroom there was lots of ants- I'm not sure if they were next to the heating pipe and it disturbed them but we did have to sort of plug the part of the wall they were coming from with tissue. Other than that, the place was absolutely perfect.

what a fantastic place this is! in the city centre of Vienna in walkable distance of some great sights and close to the main central station that has a direct connection to the airport - almost don’t want to praise this too much and keep as a secret to myself but that wouldn’t be fair to the team of grätzlhotel, as they were fantastic. a lovingly chosen and contemporary design of the room made us feel right at home and I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for accommodation in Vienna!

the only thing I would say is there is a piece around the shower with water splashing out and leaving the bathroom floor wet/ the moisture travelling into the room but not being able to air unless you’re in the space (which most likely you will only be in the evening so you’ll most likely want to try and sleep then so not ideal to have windows open - maybe some ‘kippfenster’ could help?

The suite was very spacious, certainly bigger than most hotel rooms I have been to in Vienna. I also liked the industrial decor - the suite used to a carpenter's workshop and there are still some tools left as decoration. It was also relatively clean albeit some less often used surfaces (like the large shelf above the bed) were dusty.

I informed the staff upfront that I would be coming to their office around 10 a.m. on the check-in day to store my luggage before the suite is ready. However, when I arrived at the office it was closed and I was not able to reach the staff by phone.

Once we got our bearings the location worked well for us. The actual room/suite was fine but we prefer to have an On site bar and reception.

My own fault but I didn't read that it was a self check in. If you like the personal touch and a reception to ask questions/help with information then this is not for you. The whole set up is impersonal with contact only via messages/instructions. The main switch/lighting we could not work out. So if you needed to use the bathroom during the night you had to switch the main switch back on and all the lights in the bedroom or take a phone/torch with you. We couldn't really open the curtains whilst in the room as the window is at street level so anyone can look in. Would I stay here again? No. Sorry but it maybe suits some people but this is not for us.

The location was nice, 10 minutes' walk from karlsplatz, and our unit was just in front of the church. There was a coffee shop just across the street and a small children's playground that was very useful for us with our baby. The check-in/out was super easy and comfortable, and the stuff was very responsive for any question we had. The hotel app is very helpful, full of useful recommendations. Well equipped kitchen and a big dining table for those who prefer to cook/eat at home. Generally, we enjoyed our stay and recommend the place.

There is no AC in the room, only one heater on the farthest point of the room, so it takes few hours to heat up the room properly, but the hotel provided us with thick blankets, for our baby as well. The room is equipped with noise isolating windows, but you can still hear the street/cars at night for those who need complete quiet. The shower has hot water, but they run out very quickly. We checked-in early, and paid extra, but the room floor was dirty.

Unique accommodation right on the street but very cool interiors with lots of little touches to make your stay very comfortable. Massive bathroom and very comfy bed

Had major issues, firstly with the hot water (it seemed to run out). The next day it was the plumbing in the shower and dirty water flooded the bathroom - to our surprise a technician was sent over to clear the drain within 30 minutes (even at 8pm). Very quicly fixed a bad situation

the room is beautiful, very well appointed and huge! it was beyond comfortable, we absolutely loved the room. The complimentary bottle of wine was also delicious and a very good touch!

The district is fine, but we found ourselves leaving for activities each day regularly. There isn’t much to do in the 4th district and it’s a good 30mins walk into town.

Gorgeous room in a lovely courtyard. Very peaceful and lots of space in the apartment itself. So relaxing and with all the facilities you could possibly need. No fuss on check in and check out.

Distance to the centre (30min walk) but this was easily mitigated by the multiple Bolt taxis that are very reasonably priced and consistently quick to arrive.
