The facility itself is superb. The rooms are nice, the corridors, all of it is carpeted and feels very comfortable. The cafe is nice with outdoor seating and very pleasant. The design of the hotel is also very pleasing as every detail has been thought out and its all about the moon :)

I wouldn't say the staff was generally bad, byt there a few things that need a mention. 1. there is no phones in the rooms which makes it a bit inconvenient to have to go downstairs every time you need to speak to the check-in staff. they had to be reminded 3 times for rooms slippers AND THE HOUSEKEEPING STAFF THAT DELIVERED THEM, JUST KNOCKED ON THE DOOR ONCE AND I HAVE SAID 'ONE MOMENT PLEASE', NEVERTHELESS SUPER UNBOTHEREDLY HAS JUST OPENED THE DOOR WITH HER KEY AND THREW THE SLIPPER INSIDE THE ROOM. Just absolutely rude and very much intruding the personal space, given also the fact that I was topless. It was such an awkward moment I got very angry about. I would like to point out not all of the housekeeping staff is like this, quite on the contrary in fact.

The breakfast is truly outstanding, with a lot of variety (buffet on the weekend) while fully vegetarian. You are very kindly informed that you can indeed get ham or sausage if you wish :) The rooms look modern and cosy and have many local light options. The view is also great, even if you're not on the topmost floor. The location is fantastic: you are literally across the street from the central station while also a walking distance away from Belvedere and a lovely tram ride away from the museum quarter.

We just need to visit again to make use of all the facilities Moons has to offer: a rooftop bar and a fitness centre sounds fantastic!

Location, across the street from main railway station, good transport links into city centre, the area around the hotel felt safe even late at night. The hotel itself was very modern and had a very open and spacious feel to it at the reception and breakfast room/lounge area. The breakfast was first class, a wide range of breads, yoghurts, cereals, eggs, hams, cheeses, jams and marmalade, also honey, fresh fruit, fruit salad, fruit juices and coffees and teas. We stayed over the easter weekend and even had prosecco for breakfast. The bedroom had a great view across the city, the room itself along with the rest of the hotel was spotless and the bathroom was very new and had modern feel about it. The bed was one of the comfiest we have ever had on holiday, there was a fridge in the room and a safe. Overall a great hotel, and one we will definitely be coming back to. The staff were also brilliant and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel even has a roof top bar area, which wasnt open yet due to the cool temperatures, but one of the staff took us up to have a look around. WOW, what a view, you could see for miles, right across the city centre and into the hills in the distance. Perfect hotel in the perfect city.

I am truly over the mooon as to how great Mooons hotel is. I usually don't love staying in hotels, but this is most definitely an exception. Worth staying JUST for the circular windows. Honest. Got an upgrade to a high floor facing the back and boy what a treat of a view. The rooms themselves are soundproof enough that one cannot hear the music that is constantly playing in the hallway. Located right across from the main train station, which is super convenient when catching a flight the next morning. Mooons may very well be my go-to hotel while in Vienna.

It's unfortunate that the rooftop bar is not restricted to hotel guests only; after all, it's a small space that is largely unshaded from the blazing sun; so with the general public being allowed to access the space, it can restrict options for hotel guests. Also: I'm not a fan of music playing on the hallways of each floor. Luckily, the bedroom doors are soundproof enough to prevent from hearing the music, but I just don't understand the point of it.

The hotel exceeds my expectation. The room is spacious, clean and the decoration is nice. There is kettle and mini fridge. Wifi is good. I love the circular window. The staff are friendly and helpful. The vegetarian breakfast is delicious and has various choices. You can request for meat options for free but I didn't try. It's 5 and 15 minutes walking distance from the Wien Hauptbahnhof and Schloss Belvedere respectively. 3 metro stations away from the city centre. There's supermarkets and restaurants nearby. I have stayed in two different hotels in Vienna. This hotel is absolutely amazing. I will definitely stay here if I visit Vienna again.

Hotel was superb, striking design and décor, chilled feel yet very professional. Room was spotless, a good size with comfortable bed and lovely smelling toiletries provided in the bathroom. The and hotel located right next to the train station which was perfect for us as we were (are) inter railing and close enough to walk to many of the main Vienna attractions. Would have loved to stay longer! Roof top bar was fab, delicious cocktails and friendly bar staff. Breakfast was fantastic, a huge selection of produce from fruit to yogurt, fresh bread, a variety of cooked foods, eggs, vegetables roast potatoes - a huge selection all delicious . Plenty to fill you up for the day ahead. The timings of breakfast were great, at the weekend breakfast was available until 1pm meaning it could most definitely be used for brunch/lunch. Staff were friendly, smiley and helpful throughout our stay.

Situate only minutes from Vienna’s main railway station (Wein Hauptbahnhof) and also close to underground metro trains and trams. The location allowed us to travel effortlessly locally or to further destinations such as Bratislava, Brno, Budapest. The hotel was modern boutique and staff were very professional. The room was spacious and bedding was comfortable. Breakfast was vegetarian delicious although limited selections most days. Unfortunately on one morning the bread rolls were a bit stale and also bland food was served the same day.

Bathroom looked great but was poorly designed. Soap dispensers in shower were faulty and the shower head control kept changing whilst showering. Most staff at breakfast were attentive however one female staff member continually bitched whenever the coffee machines needed attention.

Best location in Vienna for the train traveler. 200 meters walking from the Central Vienna train station with access to the airport (Express train) and destinations throughout Europe. Room size is excellent and in spite of being adjacent to a main traffic artery the insulation for sound control is exemplary which results in an excellent night’s sleep. Strong water pressure and plenty of hot water. Wi-fi performed flawlessly without interruption. There is a rooftop bar which affords panoramic views of the city and definitely worth a visit. Breakfast is “vegetarian” and varied but for the unflinching carnivore breakfast meat can be requested. There are a number of nearby restaurants within a 5-minute walk. Staff is friendly and helpful. Finally, I have never commented on pillow selections, but this venue offered four pillows of varying sizes and consistency + two cushions. Something for all tastes. Given the convenience the property deserves a "10" for its value.
