It was close to underground.

The housekeepers were so mean to not clean our room and than put sign “do not disturb” and wrote a letter that said “We wanted to clean Your room but we respected the, do nit disturb sign.” Even though we left our sign on the table and did not put it on the door handle. And I wont even mention the fact that we left the sign “please clean our room” on the door handle almost every time we left the hotel for few hours and they did not cleaned it once. But people at the reception were very kind and always helpfull.

The hotel's location is simply superb, with a tram to the city center just a 1-minute walk away. There are many great places to eat and a supermarket nearby. There is also a shopping street nearby, where you can buy a lot of cool things without a crowd of tourists. The room is spacious and bright, equipped with a wardrobe, nightstands, a desk, a chair, excellent lighting, and windows with good sound insulation. There's a hairdryer in the bathroom, and daily cleaning service is provided. The hotel has an elevator, although it's a bit intimidating :D The staff members are friendly and polite.

There are very few hangers in the wardrobe, and if there were two people, one would be left with nothing. The room lacks a kettle and a refrigerator. Additionally, there is no air conditioning. Sound insulation between rooms is nonexistent, so be sure to bring earplugs. For breakfast, the only hot item is scrambled eggs; the rest includes bread, cold cuts, and cereals. However, the croissants are very delicious! The main downside is that the reception desk is not open 24/7, which is crucial to consider if you have an early flight.

Since we are a young couple we were looking for a place with a good price/quality ratio. This hotel came to be the best option, for only 52€ we were able to have a good room right below one of the tram stops that goes to the city center. The area around is full of small food shops where you can buy food for a good price (food is expensive in Vienna).

For those of you that are looking for a night of passion in this hotel with your sweet heart be careful, beds tend to creak if you are a bull (you know what I mean 😏).

Assuming the overall prices for Vienna hotels, this is a good value for money. The room is clean and spacious. The location is comfortable. The tram stop right in front of the hotel provides easy access to metro stations. It is also easily reachable from the airport, just a 10-minute walk from VAL1 last stop. The breakfast selection may not be very extensive, but it offers enough choices.

The heavy doors are a bit uncomfyortable while carrying luggage. On the first day I was a little confused about reaching room as there were no signs indicating connecting corridors (later I discovered another entrance that was more comfortable - the breakfast is served in the space with the same entrance). There is no fridge or kettle in the room. Since window faces the street, it may be a bit noisy.

Nadine at the front desk was very helpful. It would be better if there were refrigerators in the rooms, but there was a common use refrigerator. The breakfast was very nice and varied. We loved its coffee. There is a tram stop just in front. It's very close to Billa. It may be tiring if you are going to walk to the center, but the area is quite good

Everything is perfect

The hotel is well located, 20 minutes away from the city centre by foot, 5 minutes away from the subway/train station and one minute away from the bus station. The room was big and clean and had all the needed facilities in it for a pleasant stay. A big plus was the air conditioning. All the staff was kind and helpful, giving us information about the city's attractions and restaurants. I definitely recommend this place and would stay again! ☕

I recently stayed at Hotel Kaffeemühle and had a fantastic experience. The hotel's location near the airport transfer bus stop made my arrival and departure incredibly convenient. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to various transportation options within the city made exploring Vienna a breeze. Super location and very well connected! The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. I enjoyed the breakfast as well.

The soundproofing is bad, you could hear everything going on in the corridor. Luckily my room was towards the end of the corridor, so not many people went all the way there, but it must be annoying closer to the lift/staircase.

The location was convenient for both U-bahn and tram travel about the city, as well as for trains out of Vienna. The hotel was quiet and comfortable, and staff were doing everything required.

There wasn't really any personality or warmth to this hotel. Perhaps all one needs it a bed and a breakfast, but my experience was extraordinarily like I was to just come and go, and appear for breakfast. More like a place to live, rather than to be a guest.
