perfect location, very friendly staff, very clean and tidy and a nice bar area, good breakfast

being a Hostel, it was a bit noisy at times due to guests (not the traffic noise, which could have been expected being so close to the rail station)

Rooms were clean and cozy, bathroom is great, location is amazing, especially if you want to go to a show at Weiner stadthalle.

Rude people who constantly yell, stomp around and bang on other people's door at 1 or 2 am. Staff should keep an eye on that too if it says that from 10 pm to some time in the morning you should be respectful to others and be quieter. There are spaces in the hostel where people can hang out and have fun and it's not in front of others rooms and the hallway. So future guests, be respectful to others and think about others, not just yourselves. This is just a decent critique for people who sleep somewhere where there are other people who travel, want to get the best of their journey and are tired, not for the hostel directly. Don't know where to write this advice so I hope that future guests will see it here. 😊

I've stayed here already like 20 times. The private or family rooms are way more comfortable then sared dormitories, which I stayed in previously. Better mattresses, better sheets, better showers and yet TV. Stuff always ready to assist with anything. All very clean Big kitchen with all needed Supermarket, 2 lines if metro, trains, trams, busses all is here. Center is pretty close too. Good value for money

The pots and frying pans made our if material, which sensitive for scratches. So teflon came out and i would suggest to replace this items with stainless steel items for a safe use reasons. The lids on big trash bins are a bit difficult to use. I would suggest bin with a pedal to not touch lids with hands. Especially at the kitchen, where we eat it makes sense to use hand's free option. The light at the bathroom closes automatically by itself, which makes you to come out wet out of shower to activate a sensor, which goes same while you use toilet: you must stand up to activate it )))))

Very friendly staff. Good location less than 5 minutes away from Westbahnhof and next to a Lidl. Good price. Kitchen well equipped.

(1) There are too few electric outlets in the rooms. It is very standard for hostels to have an electric outlet right next to each bed. Not in this one. In this hostel there are a few (not enough!) electric outlets spread in random places across the room. (2) I stayed in room 312 for two days. The hand soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty the first day. I thought they were going to refill it the next day. They didn't. I told reception. They said they were going to take care of it. But they didn't. So basically there was no handsoap in the bathroom for the entire stay.

the location, there is a grocery store near by to buy food, and of course railways, metro, bus to airport the have big kitchen, so you can cook for yourself if not willing to buy breakfast from them, you can eat inside or outside (they have inner yard) free towels, lockers in room, a table to put your stuff on it free welcome drink staff that is present at the reception bathroom is big inside

as always very few hostels have pegs, shelves to hang your outwear and dry towel and this one was no exception the door for shower booth should have been repared

The room is clean, the beds are comfortable and the lockers are huge. Both my backpack and my suitcase fit inside and there was still space left at the top. The shower is hot and easy to control and its extractor fan works pretty well so no moisture nor smells entered the room.

I believe the only problem that was not easily possible to overcome is the padlock specification for the lockers. In my case I brought one that worked fine but some of my roommates didn't. If the padlock is not thick enough it is still possible to open the locker (you still can close your padlock, but it will be like there is nothing there, a bit complicated to explain). At the end of my stay I found a sticker with specifications where it says the thickness should be between 4,5 and 6,5 millimetres (my padlock was 5mm thick). Of course you can buy one at the hostel but we usually just want to bring our own and I would have liked to know those specifications before arriving.

Overall, I liked everything. Even though, I'm an older man myself, the receptionist understood my needs (everybody's basic comfort needs), did the right thing by helping me when I told him I didn't have a good feeling about a dorm, and placed me in another dorm where all was good (which is usually rarely the case in hostels in general). The facilities are good. I had already stayed here 1 night, 2 days earlier. Would like to stay here again, hoping that my luck continues (hoping I find people like me in the dorm, ...people who aren't a nuisance for their roommates).

It's not the best location, but it's not bad either. I saw a bad individual, but luckily he wasn't in my dorm (so it was no problem).

The location is very good. Right next to a metro station and a grocery store. Breakfast is very delicious. The staff are so friendly. Very convenient to do checkin and checkout all online, to avoid standing at the front desk, filling in paperwork. The mattresses were very good and firm.

In the shower/bathroom it was perhaps a little bit too cold. The air was working overtime and it got quite cold standing in the shower and even colder after stepping out of the shower. Everybody got just one towel and we did feel like we were missing towels a little bit.

I liked that it was well situated, close to the Westbanhof metro station. There were restaurants and a Lidl nearby and in just 10' walk you could rich bars and other restaurants. The room was very clean. I like that someone cleaned around a bit every day even if there was no sign of wanting the room to be cleaned.

They only gave us one towel for each person (that is changed upon request every day if you want) and there were no vanity kits and bedside supplies. The room was pretty cold as the heating wasn't on.

This was a great location. The garden out the back of the property was quiet and relaxing to just sit out and enjoy a drink from the bar, or to play chess on the giant chess board. The accommodation was basic, but I knew that from booking what to expect. It was clean and the beds comfortable. We stayed only one night but would definitely recommend this place if you wanted to explore Vienna for a night or two. We were a family of four with two teenagers and there were no complaints!

There was no air con, again we knew this on booking, and the room was stuffy due to the heat.
