Great location and amenities - no need to go offsite

Lack of affordable eating options and/or easily accessible supermarkets for essentials. Also the pools do not open until 9 am and closed at 5pm, earlier opening and closing later would be better to maximise time on water park and by the pool, especially for families who have young children who wake early. Also there was no hot water in our bathroom in the mornings (anytime prior to 8am) so made showering a hassle. Also no shower gel or conditioner provided but shampoo and body lotion was - seemed a bit odd to include some but not all, especially in a high cost resort

Beautiful, clean, and the workers were exceptional. Michelle, our HouseKeeper, knew us by name, greeted us every day and had everything replenished and spectacular for us upon returning to the room daily. Michelle and I even hugged each other on our way out of our stay. You have a very valuable employee in her!

Although we realize this is an extravagant resort and the rooms are breathtaking as are the views, the gratuity for every little thing, the taxes and the food are just too much and over priced. We wish at least one meal a day that was free or discounted.

There are a lot of things that you can do in the area. The Aquaventure water park has a lot of fun activities, there is a plethora of restaurants that you can choose from for the dinners (although they can be expensive). I would suggest visiting the city while you are there as well. The city is not where the downtown area is. The downtown is the area where the cruise ships are and the city is another area.

The bathrooms are a bit dated and they need a renovation.

Lots of activities for the kids, lots of wildlife spread on the several aquariums spread through the property. Several options of restaurants on site. The apartment was super clean and comfortable too.

Expect LOTS of crowds everywhere, kids love the place but if you’re looking for a chilled relaxed holidays this is not the place for you. Prices can be very steep as well (e.g. having to pay >$1,000 por a beach cabanna). For $1,000/night I was expecting better service (e.g. no water bottles in the room, empty minibar). We called to ask for the couch bunker bed to be made, but we only had the sheets delivered to our room (“do it yourself”)

rooms nice bathroom could have been cleaner . beautiful outdoors ocean life and looks gorgeous . we don’t love casinos but you have to go through to access marina village and some other areas

some staff were challenging - “I told you you were checking out today” - we weren’t and there was an error here. “ show me your key as I attempted to enter when cleaning people were here “. (it was the way she asked ). when there was poor communication with booking.com and we had extended a day (weeks ago) we had to wait for management to ok our stay and again it wasn’t what was said it was how we were spoken to as guests who had been here 4 days and spent a lot of ). the towel booth again we were told to keep our bracelets (day 3 but never told before ) and told it we didn’t we might not get another . again the way we are spoken to the restaurant staff was always lovely so we didn’t give a poor rating but these other situations stood out to us

great staff. lots of hard work going on behind the scenes to keep the property looking great.

guests have already spent quite a lot of money to get there. why the exorbitant cost of food? that’s probably the only thing that would keep me from returning.

Staff on the island service was average. Very expensive at Restaurants.

All up-to together where we stayed (newly refurbished room in Royal ). Great size and ocean view

Happy to accept paying more for being on site, but at times the cost of things were being pushed far too high. The expectation of seeking tips for everything also didn’t sit right, particularly when you are just buying a Starbucks from a counter, with no service involved from often disinterested staff. Also we felt the wanting to charge $187 for some photos of our Dolphin experience was excessive bearing in mind how much it costs to book the experience. Hardly anyone bothered with the photos ( you had to buy a min of 7 average quality pictures). Why not sell people just a single half decent picture for under $50 and more people will buy and leave happy.

We loved the marine life and river ride. Kids loved the slides.

Our room has a drippy tap and broken lights. Some of the slides were closed.

Gorgeous huge architecture. Marine life everywhere is done so we’ll, lovely, interesting. Really good food with lots of choices for everyone across the resort. Nice pools, lots of lifeguards. The beach is huge and beautiful. SO many things to do! And everything is included except experiences with dolphins, stingrays, and turtles. Rapid River needs a specific mention - Wow. Excellent attraction. The staff everywhere was so friendly and down to earth. Plato’s food is the way to go to save a bit. Their food is good, and their desserts were excellent!

The Price of food! W O W! The 10% VAT tax AND 15% gratuity added to literally everything! The super high pillows gave all 4 of us neck aches.
