Good location, a short walk into the centre. Great building that has been preserved while being turned into something new - I think it was once a factory. Love that they kept lots of original features. Our room and ensuite were large. The breakfast was fresh and tasty - served by a kind and friendly staff member. All else is self serve and basic.

No aircon, but a fan was supplied the next day which was good. Our room opened to a small balcony but it wasn’t private, so I felt uncomfortable with strangers out there chatting while our door was open. Perhaps this is just because we aren’t European and not used to the closeness. I think the noise experience differs depending on your room. Ground floor you could hear other guests in their rooms and coming and going. Airplanes go over until about 11pm.

The staff at breakfast were delightful. The food was good and the coffee excellent. The rooms were whimsical and bedding comfortable. The only issue we had was figuring out the code to get in the outer door on our initial access. We were escorted in by a pre teen who was helpful to an older couple who didn't know how to hit the right buttons. Very close to two metro stations, and a brisk walk from the train station. Near great food. Wonderful base from which to explore the city over a few days and return to at night.

A second chair in the room to sit at the desk would have been a benefit. But not a big deal at all.

The room was beautiful, I felt like I was inside of a painting. Breakfast had a great selection. Staff was very friendly and there's a lovely courtyard with a swing. Walkable to some nice bars and restaurants (including a craft brewery) and not a bad walk from the train station. Would definitely stay again.

This wasn't an issue for me but in the room I was in there was a big window between the bathroom and bedroom so you could see straight through. The shower itself and toilet are hidden from the window, but if you're traveling with someone who you would rather not see you naked, or you want a little more privacy, it might be tough. That said the design was super cool.

Thank you very much for hosting me. The place is really amazing, I really enjoyed staying there. Perfect b&b to feel the atmosphere of the city. Rooms are really neat, clean with interesting designs, there are a lot of space and light! I really enjoyed breakfast, it was really tasty! The atmosphere is awesome, stuff is really helpful and open, gave me excellent advices where to eat/what to see! Really recommend this cozy place if you want to have nice experience in Brussels.

Close to the center of the city 0.8km, but if walk opposite direction doesn’t feel safe (don’t do that nighttime)

I am a frequent traveller staying at various hotels in different countries mainly around Europe for 2-4 nights. I like staying at smaller hotels with good comfort and value for money wherever possible. BB Druum is run by a very nice family, breakfast was great, my room was spacious and very comfortable, each one is decorated by a different artist. The owners are happy to have a proper conversation, they are kind and help with whatever you need. I simply felt at home without having to wash up the dishes :) One of the best places I have ever stayed.

If you arrive late at night you get instructions how to get into the house. Don't be frightened if you seem to be unable to open the gate - it's a huge wooden door, you'll need your whole body weight to open it up :)

Original B&B with very spacious rooms (bathroom is spacious as well, with two showers and a bathtub for the room I got). Also the artistic touch makes it a pleasant stay right from the bat. The no-contact check-in is very convenient (though you can argue a human welcome is warmer).

Windows don't have blinds (just curtains), so just be warned if you need pitch black to fall asleep. Breakfast was ok but not superlative (as some described it to be).

Great location away from the busy center but close to transport options. on a clean street which seems to be rare in brussels. very spacious room.

Bathroom needs a coat of paint as it has some black mould in the corner next to the sink and in the window sill. A lamp to be used as a night light would be great as it is pitch dark when all the lights are off and when switching the bathroom light on the extraction fan is noisy all night long.

The space, the light coming in the big windows, the tub, the breakfast! It was such a pleasant and relaxing stay after our camping trip! So we really appreciated all the little details Druum put in for their guests.

The room was a bit dusty, and there was a piece of food in the bathroom sink. Other than that, it was clean :) The outlets were all very low so it was kinda inconvenient to charge gadgets.

Clarice’s instructions before check-in was clear, very helpful! The room was in great design, cool and practical.

Only tips for the followers: 1. The noise of the fan in the bathroom would be stopped after turning off the light, but should wait about 2 minutes patiently:-) 2. Parking lot needs a reservation, €20/ 24 hours, which was just opposite of the building gate, very convenient.

The decor of the room was quite unique, which we enjoyed. Location is excellent, we were able to walk to many places. The staff went above and beyond. Breakfast was delicious, and the young man was very attentive. He also called a taxi for us and came to the room to let us know that the taxi had arrived.

We would have enjoyed a bit more information about things to do in the area.
