Great location, 5 mins from the Castle, Canals and Resturants, across the street from a supermarket, but still out of the way enough to be quiet. Room was good sized, with access to a shared internal courtyard. Bed was very big and comfortable. Free tea and coffee avaliable in the kitchen (which was also avaliable for cooking although we didn't use it) Kenzo was very friendly and helpful

There were a couple of occations when there was no hot water in the shower, understand this is due to the way it was piped from the nearby hospital, so out of the owners control. Our room, Olga, was right below the kitchen where the floorboards were a bit squeaky, so you could occationally hear people (and the music of Taylor Swift), although this was never at anti-social hours, so not a big deal

Stayed in the quiet dark blue room (Emile room). There is a lot I can say about this unique space and B&B. Mostly spoke with the lovely host Kenzo when we weren't out exploring Ghent. Kenzo gave us plenty of personal advice with his local suggestions. He was happy for us to take a book guide of his out as we explored Ghent. The hosts were accommodating and very proactive in ensuring our stay was pleasant. Our room was at the back of the B&B and has been for us the most comfortable bed in several weeks of travel. 5 min walk to Castle Gravensteen and the centre of Ghent, but just far enough outside. Kenzo even provided a laundry service for an exceptional price. While travelling for weeks this is an immensely convenient service to provide. This B&B sets a very high bar. I wish them all the best in their future endeavours.

Staying here was a wonderful experience 😌 the property is beautiful, comfortable and pristine - it has so much character and felt like home away from home. The hosts are so lovely, they were always just a message away. Check in is smooth and flexible, even when arriving at 1.30am. The location is also perfect, it’s close walking distance to everything you’d want to see in Ghent. The sauna is a fantastic addition to the property, the perfect way to relax after a long day of exploring. I recommend this place to anyone 😄

Nothing!

We had a very satisfying stay at this Air B&B in Ghent, a city that surprises you with its blend of historic charm and contemporary flair, much like the property itself. With an old-world exterior and a modern, comfortable interior, our stay was full of pleasant contrasts. The process from check-in to check-out was streamlined, making our stay straightforward and uncomplicated. Our hosts ensured that everything ran smoothly and without hassle. The kitchen is available for guest use. We didn't choose to cook, but we appreciated being able to make a coffee. Our room's design was a highlight, with modern Belgian elements that created a comfortable and visually appealing space. It was a welcome change from the usual hotel room and added to the overall charm of our stay. We noted that information was provided about where the products could be purchased, which we may have considered if we'd lived in that part of the world. Our hosts provided valuable advice for dining and sightseeing. Their recommendations led us to some excellent local eateries, specifically Aroy Aroy and Le Pain Quotidien. We also had a couple of drinks at Jiggers, a local bar that's just a short walk away. The property's location is a standout feature, with numerous attractions within walking distance. Most of our travel was on foot, with the exception of tram rides to the city's museums. Gravensteen is only a five minute walk away, and a truly excellent attraction, with (again) a modern twist on history, with its highly entertaining audio guide. St Bavo's Cathedral, with its augmented reality tour is similarly engaging. Nearby, we also discovered Department Gent, a store offering a range of locally made souvenirs. We appreciated the quality and uniqueness of the items and recommend future guests to pay a visit if they're looking for memorabilia that's a cut above the typical tourist fare.

There was nothing that we didn't enjoy.

The athmosphere and the overaal vibe of the B&B was very nice. The room had a nice aesthetic and was very clean. The sauna that was free to use was also a nice addition. The owners were super nice and helpfull. Overall great B&B

The toilet is very close to the bed with a not completely closing sliding door, so if you like some toilet privacy this could be a little uncomfortable.

The rooms are beautiful and unique. Bed is huge and comfortable. Easy access to rent bikes or take uber to Gent train station. Grocery store accross the street. Excellent and super frendly staff! The room doesn't have desk/table or fridge, but the common area has big kitchen and all equipments. There are only 3 rooms in his facility, so the common kitchen is mostly empty. It is also very clean. Shower is big! There are all soaps and shampoos.

The bathroom has 'only' sliding doors, that can be a bit intimate. Lights are a bit too weak. But of course depends what you need them for.

The room and the whole building were absolutely amazing! It was just as seen in the photos and the atmosphere was so warm and cosy. It really made us feel at home and Kenzo was an amazing host. We will 100% want to come back to Gent and live in that B&B! We also loved that everything was made by locals and the effort they put in to reinforce the local community.

The location was fantastic—conveniently situated near key attractions. I was especially impressed by the service; the staff were not only welcoming but also respectful and responsive to all my needs. Additionally, I loved the design of the hotel; it created a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.

If you're looking for a homely and exclusive experience away from home, this is your place. It's walking distance to the city centre and you'll occupy one of only 3 unique rooms, each furnished with Belgian brands. Gwynn/Kenzo share their kitchen with you, where you can grab a coffee/tea or even cook. Or you visit one of their recommended eat places, a long list of which you get sent ahead of your stay. We got recommendations for pretty much anything we asked for, so we could explore Ghent truly like a local. We'll definitely be back.

We liked everything about our stay.

A very cozy and beautiful place. Furnished and finished in stylish great quality details with a very comfortable bed. The location is perfect. Close to the lively center and yet in a more calm surroundings. Close to the shop and close to the tram/bus stop that can take you to the main train station you may need to reach the airport. So it was really easy to get around. The hosts are amazing. Very friendly and welcoming, and helped out throughout our stay.
