I loved my stay at The Mitru Sur Hotel. They communicated with me well before I arrived and arranged a car to collect me from the airport, check in on arrival was smooth and efficient and the staff spoke good English and were always willing to help in any way. My room was excellent with the most comfortable bed, a sofa and a tray of delicious treats too. Everything I could want. The housekeeping was fantastic, towels changed daily and I really would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in La Paz. The nice, warm pool and steam room were an added bonus and welcome after day out in the city.

The staff at the hotel were extremely nice and did everything possible to make our stay pleasant. When two us fell sick with digestive trouble they brought us appropriate food, lots of water and medicine, helped us with several organisational issues for our onward travel, and offered us a late checkout. For those of us who were able to benefit, the rooftop bar offers great views and drinks, and the pool and sauna were perfect to relax after a day in the city. The hotel is in a safe and quiet part of the city, and even though it is a bit far off, the city centre can easily be reached by taxi or cable car. If we ever return to La Paz, this is the place we would choose to stay. Highly recommended.

We can't say enough good things about the hotel. The staff was extremely helpful even before we arrive. We had booked two stays and had to cancel one due to flight changes. Even though the room was non-refundable, the hotel made an exception and transferred our credit to the second booking and gave us a better room. Once we arrived for our stay, it was quickly apparent that the hotel, staff and facilities are excellent. We were warmly welcomed, helped with everything and the room we got was extremely comfortable. We undoubtedly had the best sleep in Bolivia at this hotel. The beds are exceedingly comfortable. The restaurant made good food and the breakfast spread was quite varied as well. There's not a single thing we can fault the hotel for. We'd love to stay here again whenever we come back to La Paz.

Absolutely everything, this is the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff are amazing they are so kind and helpful. As backpackers we felt a little out of place here but the staff never made us feel like this. We spent hours in the pool and spa facilities and adored the cinema room for watching a movie. We watched the World Cup match in the sky bar where the hotel provided free snacks which was a lovely touch. The breakfast buffet was also huge and delicious!

Hotel room was clean and the very comfortable. Staff was very polite and helpful. The pool facilities were fantastic (and clean). Breakfast was a success for the entire family which is hard to say with three kids with different food interests. The entire hotel was beautifully furnished with local accents. The Sky Bar is spectacular!

The bathrooms were a little awkward to maneuver around in because of the door swinging into the bathroom and the limited square footage. The rain shower was great but could use some additional shelf space for soap and shampoo. The dinner wasn’t that great, was expecting more considering the other great aspects of the hotel.

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful beyond what can be expected. I required medical attention when in La Paz and the hotel staff at Mitru Sur did everything possible to accomodate my needs and diet, and even helped liase with the hospital for administrative purposes when I had left the country. Excellent hotel with wonderful staff.

Friendly and professional personnel, terrific design of the whole interior in hotel. Watching sunrise from hotel room or hall is amazing. Breakfast not very rich, but delicious. Sky bar is definitely top level.

The staff was very gentle. I needed a space to work and they give me access to a beautiful and confortable conference room. The pool area is nice, the sauna and stern room where very nice.

The pool area was more crowded than I expected. The shower wasn’t the best.

Safe but no interest in the neighborhood on the way to the nearest cable car station (more than 10 minutes walk). I was a victime of phishing from my reservation of this hotel.

My absolute favorite hotel in La Paz. Great roons and very comfy beds. Pool, Sauna, steam bad. They have a great restaurant and a very nice rooftop. As a women you didn't shoud go up with high hills. The stuff and waiter are very very friendly and most speak good English. The area is modern and safe but to downtown you need 10-15 min. I highly recommend this Hotel!
