The staff were friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the staff of Mehana Tanne. Also the fireplace in the restaurant was great. We ate there all but one night. Kids loved it. Our room was double-decker and very large. There were 2 bathrooms with bathtubs and 3 toilets. It was a room with a fireplace. We did not have any heating problems. Parking was available. Breakfast was adequate by Bulgarian standards. Gondola lift is 10 minutes away, but it wasn't a strenuous or boring walk. We had no difficulties with our 2 children. SPA area jacuzzi, pool, steam bath, salt room and saunas were great. The children had fun in the playground in the garden of the hotel. They enjoyed it more because it was snowing. We as a family were very satisfied. When we go to Bansko again, the address where we will stay is certain.

Absolutely recommended! Traditional Bulgarian style, combined with all the modern needs a tourist would have. The breakfast room was great as well, with many options even for my pretentious boyfriend (Bulgarian, UK, European, etc)! The restaurant is separate, we had dinner twice and lunch once. It was always delicious, quickly served, and freshly made. There was even live music in the evening. The personnel was very friendly and happy to help with the smallest thing. The location is within walking distance from Gondola, the cable car that takes you up to the ski area, a 24/7 supermarket nearby, several fast-food shops and restaurants even closer, and any other type of shop you would ever need in the immediate vicinity. Their spa facilities are clean, beautiful to look at, and incredibly good for your health. The pictures do not do them justice - 3 saunas, a steam bath, multiple showers, a toilet, heated loungers, a warm pool, pool loungers, and a hot hydro-massage pool with mineral water. The whole spa area is comfy and warm as well and has its own staircase from the rooms (no need to go through reception). The room hygiene level was just stellar, they wipe all surfaces with an anti-bacterial spray, wipe the floor, and everything else you would expect. The double bed was okay, with plenty of blankets and pillow options. We were at an apartment, so we had a WC and a bathroom with a WC. The view was simply stunning, we always sat at the balcony having our morning coffee, looking at the mighty Pirin peaks and the many ski slopes. Again - the pictures do not do them justice!

We traveled for winter sports with friends and made reservation for 2 double rooms. - Location was perfect, we could reach the gondola by walking, within 10 min. - The staff was polite and helpfull, all the time. - They had a missunderstanding with the reservation but they compensated it my giving an apartment for the family of my friends.The room was clean and looked nice, with balcony facing the mountains, the apartment was very nice, even had a cheminee. - The cleaning service worked everyday. - The sauna and pool were very ok. - The restaurant had really good food but with no vegan options. But flexible enough to cook something out of the menu if asked. - They also had massage options and a game room.

- No soundproofing in the room. We could hear noise from the coridor all the time and sometimes from the other rooms. The floors are from stone, so the walking sounds and trollers sound were amplified. - Only twin options for beds, even for couples. - Not too much variety for the breakfast and no vegan options.

Locations is great, just a few minutes walk from the ski resort Gondola, the rooms are big, the breakfast has quite a lot of variety, the spa area is included in the price of the rooms and has some nice facilities. There is also a gym but we did not use it. The hotel was really welcoming in letting us check in earlier and let us check out later to wait for our transfer.

The staff is not very welcoming. Some rooms are insanely hot (you have to sleep naked and on top of the sheets, there is no alternative) and it does not change if you turn off all the heaters as there are also hidden heaters within the walls and pavements. The 3 people room is a bit of a joke, just a 2 people room plus a small bendable bed. Definitely not a 4 star in my opinion.

The hotel is nice. A maximum points for the staff, especially for the manager and the chef of the restaurant. I use this opportunity to apologize for asking the manager if he is the chef of the hotel 😀. But he could be anything, because he was everywhere. Plus, he is an extremely nice and flexible person, attentive to any requirement from the customers. Thanks again for the excellent stay.

If the breakfast had been more diversified, I could have said: wow. A single type of cheese, a single type of salami and the same type of omelet for 4 days in a row is not a positive thing for a 4* hotel. And maybe the furniture is a bit outdated. Otherwise nothing negative 

Tanne Hotel is a cosy, smaller size hotel, with great amenities. SPA center is great, with full access to pool, jacuzzi, steam bath, russian sauna, normal sauna, heated beds, salt room, ice barrel. The water in the pool was warm. We had a meal plan consisting of breakfast and dinner. There was a good selection of food, not a wide variety, but enough to choose from for a family of four for a full day on the slopes and after that.

Everything was fine; nothing to dislike.

The spa facilities were very good. The bed was comfortable. Light, but no socket near the bed. Good wifi and selection of tv stations. Tub and shower and balcony. Overall a charming and comfortable place.

I had full board, But there was low occupancy so breakfast and dinner choices were limited at times. I felt value for money was a bit expensive for shoulder season.

There was not a single thing I didn’t like about this place!

SPA centre was ok. not all of the rooms ware operational. Obviously you need to ask the stuff to turn some facilities on for you. The stuff ware great ! They woud do anything for you to make you feel happy. Breakfast was good. baked eggs just one day of 6, cooked eggs ware cold. Koffie was out of a terrible powder machine. Fresh fruits ware good. Great SERVICE ! A nice fire place at the foyer. useful ski wardrobe. Good location near the lift. All you can wish for a short stay :-)

Generally clean hotel, decent indoor pool, cosy reception common area, adequate ski room

Generally all ok, but for a 4* rated hotel, in my opinion it had some shortcomings: room poorly furnitured, windows not properly closing, bathroom in need of some refurbishment.
