We enjoyed our one-night stay in Central Plaza Hotel! The location is very good! Just in the centre of Sofia, very close to Serdika MetroStation. There are a lot of street-food cafeterias nearby. Before making a decision which budget hotel to choose for booking I had monitored travellers reviews. I found the information that breakfast is good in Cenral Plaza Hotel. So that defined my choice! It turned out that was perfectly true! For us ,independent travellers, breakfast is crucial. Quite good choice of different sausages, cheese, fresh vegetables, olives, etc. A coffee machine with good cappucino ( not paper but very nice porcelain cups provided ))) And! Very tasty apple cake (wonderful!! like homemade). The interior of the cafeteria is really nice). So Central Plaza Hotel breakfast made our day!!!

Old and very loud air-conditioner. But that was not a problem cause we came late and spent a night with an opened window. And bathroom seems to be renovated(( Though it was clean and all necessary bathroom accessories were available.

We have been upgraded to another four star hotel nearby, that had better location near the city centre and we enjoied the free spa facilities of it. The facilities, staff, room, breakfast were amazing. Nearby the hotel you may find a park, bank, bus station, tram station, metro station, supermarket, pharmacy, barber shop and many more.

The only issue with the upgraded room to the other hotel is the fact that walls are thin so we were able to hear noise from road, the corridors and of the other rooms. Also we were able to hear noise from the aircondition of the room

Staff was very helpful in solving issues that came up. Location is good - most things within 15-20 minute walk. The apartment was spacious and allows working remotely if desired. Breakfast is plentiful.

One of the bedrooms didn't have A/C. Some minor things were not up to par - some broken cabinet handles, some electrical sockets not working, etc. Overall maintenance could be better. Nothing major that should drive you away. It should be noted that the apartment is only reachable by stairs, so if accessibility is an issue, than this is not the choice for you. WiFi signal has some disconnections, but is usable for the most part.

The Central Plaza Hotel offered an excellent value when I stayed there. It is conveniently located a short walk from the metro, and an easy walk to Vitosha. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, nice and warm during the snowy weekend I stayed there. I would certainly confidently stay there again

Not really a major shortcoming, but the furniture is a bit well used, and the mattress might be nearing the end of its useful life. That said, I did sleep soundly while I was there.

The hotel is about 10 mins walk away from Vistosha Street and about 10 minutes walk away from Opalchenska metro station. The rooms, although old, are equipped with the facilities for a comfortable 3 night stay. The breakfast is simple but sufficient to fill you.. The toilet has a bathtub

The facilities may be old, and I can't blame them as it's a Communist era building. However, it's sufficient to cater to your needs for a short stay.

The staff is extremely helpful. I arrived early at the morning and my room was already empty so they offered me to early check-in so I can get some sleep!! Also after the check out I left my bags and took a day trip then when I was back again they said I can use the toilet and stay to charge my phones till my bus time!!!! Thanks to staff I had a wonderful stay ❤️ Also the location is super, its right in the center few steps away from the trap to the central bus station. The view from the room balcony was lovely, Difeintly I will come again👍🏻

Nothing except that the bathroom needs some renovation but it was clean so no problem!

The room was very nice with comfortable beds. The bathroom had the necessary toiletries and was cleaned regularly. The staff were friendly and very helpful with directions, luggage storage and calling for a taxi when asked. Breakfast was good, with a varied selection of both savoury and sweet items. I don't know where they get the chocolate bread thing, but I need more of it!

A little bit noisy due to the tram station right in front of the hotel, but that's to be expected if you want your hotel to be in a good location.

The location of the hotel is great! You can walk to most tourist attractions from there. Breakfast was really excellent and the coffee was the best I ever had in a hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful!

Because of the central location of the hotel, it is a bit noisy but you can solve the problem with ear plugs, as I did. Also, the location and number of the electric sockets, is not the best. There should be at least one socket available near the desk. The internet was better than last time.

Nice view from balcony. Fridge silent, air condition silent. Bathroom enough place. Good location, walking distance from Serdica and main attraction. Breakfast very good, from 7:30 to 10:00. Hot meal and cold variety of chees, sausages, eggs, tea, coffee.

Recomendation to hotel: a bathmat should be appreciated, because wet floor is slippery, may cause accident.

Everyone that works here is genuinely nice and helpful, which is much appreciated. The hotel is located in a great area- the tram stop is right in front and there are many great restaurants within a couple of blocks. The breakfast is delicious and varied.

I honestly can't think of anything. Our stay was great, so we extended it a bit.
