Best Western Plus Bristol Hotel

friendly staff which was generous to park the car and let me stay in the room longer as I had an afternoon flight. Good location which is close to center.

Some things could be considered as slightly outdated but that was not an issue for me personally.

We really liked the location. It is so close to city center and St. Vitosha for nights!

When we came into the room, the carpet smelt in a weird way, we thought that’s because of wet of the bath. Nowadays a carpet is not the best option to a room hotel.

Good lighting in room, making it easy to read, which is very much a plus point for me. Breakfast very adequate in all respects, apart from the coffee (well, the version I chose, probably wrongly!). Staff accommodating, helpful, friendly and efficient. Shower excellent, hot and powerful, and unlike in most hotels in Bulgaria constructed so that water doesn't run all over the floor! Overall I can certainly recommend.

Bed a bit too soft for my personal preference, but certainly comfortable. Door of room very hard to shut on leaving, and needed a really good bang, though no problems from the inside. Wifi OK, but a bit ropy, with fairly frequent drop-out.

Position was easy walking distance from both the train/coach stations (we were traveling by public transport. Receptionist greeted us like we were old friends, spoke excellent English and made sure we knew where everything was. Bathroom facilities par excellence! Shower cubicle was roomy and shower had good pressure. Breakfast/restaurant area was set out in such a way that it was airy without being noisy, intimate without feeling that you were hemmed in. Food choice at breakfast was what you would expect from a hotel charging twice the price. Room well set out, toilet tucked away out of sight. Plenty of sockets for phones etc. Best hotel we have stayed in during time in Bulgaria. Oh yes - a kettle in the room. Want to stay again!!

Now I’m getting picky! Little step going into bathroom that I kept stubbing my toe on. TV remote seemed to stop working & had to unplug to turn it off. View not great from the room but it was only an overnight stop.

1)Location is not bad but yellow taxis can be booked from reception as and when needed. 2)It is a proper 30 mins walk to alexander nevksy cathedral and also 20 mins walk to vitosha blvd 3)Staff is good and considerate 4) breakfast was included which was also good 5) I liked the bathroom which is important for any stay 6)Room cleaning was done everyday 7)Room temperature control was ok as well 8) Tv worked, towels were clean, water kettle was provided, tea and coffee were always in stock in the room, mini fridge had good items, hair dryer was also available, local amenities are really good at this location

9) Soundproofing is not good in the room 10) The wallpapers and carpet of the room could be improved as it made the room look gloomy.

The hotel is on Hristo Botev Boulevard, on a tram line, and in close proximity to the center of Sofia. There is an open parking lot with a barrier within walking distance to the hotel on the back street where you can leave your car. You can visit almost all places on foot. Stefan at the front desk was very helpful upon our arrival and also suggested a few good places to eat. The excellent open buffet breakfast had all we anticipated. The room was large, comfortable, and had a very good shower. We highly recommend this hotel for its location, service, and the amenities it provides to those who would like to explore Sofia.

location, cleanliness everything was very good. The center can be reached on foot and is in a safe area. It is simple but has all the comforts. They upgraded the room we booked because the hotel was available and that was great. thanks a lot for that. Moreover, it has a very reasonable price with breakfast included. breakfast is simple and sufficient. maybe it can be enriched with local flavors, for example, with “börek” Just a recommendation… If we’ll go to Sofia again, this hotel is definitely the one. Comfortable, slightly old-fashioned hotel (this is a good thing!) in the very centre of the city, with excellent service and facilities. No nonsense QR codes, no high-tech gadgets, just 1990s comfort, decent room size, and helpful and attentive staff. I appreciated this hotel very much after an exhausting trip - it was exactly right for a restful night's sleep. I found the breakfast great value too, with a varied choice and something for every taste, healthy and hearty. The staff kindly accommodated our luggage for the day, too.

Can't think of anything but possibly the rooms on the side of the street might be a little noisy for some due to the trams - if you want to be sure of your quiet, ask for a room on the opposite side.

I liked the room (standard double), it has enough space for two people if you don't spend the whole day in it. The bathroom was spacious and modern. Breakfast was also very good and diverse. The fitness centre is not big, has some machines, I used only the treadmill. Location is also good, within walking distance from the Serdika station, which is very central.

Carpets make the hotel look less valuable and older than it actually is. But this is indeed only about the visual impression. Windows in our room looked out over a street in which there is a tram line. It might get noisy in the early morning hours if you leave the windows open.

The location : Is quite close to the city center even the neigborhood is look not very friendly .

The hotel is quite outdated and the parking which is not belong to the hotel but 150-200 meters away . Rather is preferable to park on public parking , if you find a place in the front of the hotel , but is complicated to get the tickets...
