The hotel is very conveniently located on the main street, near shops and restaurants and about a 10-15 minute walk to the entrance of Tsaravets Fortress. My room was very clean and comfortable. The reception staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. Good value for money. Air conditioning was cold, the Wifi was strong in my room and there is a lovely garden patio outside where you can sit with a meal or a drink to relax. My room was at the top of several flights of stairs, which I liked (nice rooftop view out the window) but if you have mobility issues you may want to consider it. Even getting from the street level to the reception desk requires climbing a flight of stairs.

The room was next to the street so traffic noise could be a little loud but it didn't bother me too much. The bathroom was small which is fine, except that when I sat on the toilet the shower curtain would rub up against me, it was so close. Probably nothing they can do about this but it was kind of annoying.

The staff was excellent, displaying professionalism and remarkable friendliness throughout. I witnessed their assistance to a family with their suitcases, as they mentioned the abundance of stairs in Turnovo. Despite the challenge, their helpfulness left a strong impression on me. Everything in the room was presented beautifully, adding to the overall positive experience.

It's not that I disliked it, but I did feel that the room was a bit small, especially in the bed area. Perhaps it was because the wardrobe was positioned between the beds, which created that impression. However, it wasn't a significant concern for me.

The location could not be more central, the place was clean and comfortable and the staff I spoke to were delightful. The courtyard garden is a lovely touch.

Sadly, Anhea no longer offers any food. The worst thing was the noisy family down my corridor, who kept up a din until late at night. To be fair, I did not complain to the hotel about this, and if I had they might have dealt with it.

I really appreciated the hospitality we received from the receptionist; he was very welcoming, sociable, and people-oriented. He explained everything nicely and answered all our questions, plus he spoke English very well. The location is wonderful, very close to the center; you can walk to the restaurant area, just 4-5 minutes from the Craftsman Street, close to all attractions. The accommodation is very charming and cozy; the room is decent, and for the price paid, it's more than enough.

Everything was great!

The staff were exceptional especially the lovely lady who cleaned our room. She was so concerned about my wife’s health (she had a very bad cold/flu) that she bought us some natural cold medicine to help clear the nasal passages which worked really well. The young people on reception were also very helpful and kind. The location was great and so was the room size with a balcony that had a fantastic view. We stayed longer than we’d booked as found it so relaxing and such good value for money. Our room had a fridge and a jug for tea and coffee and herbal remedies. We would definitely return and totally recommend.

The bathroom was quite small but very usable. The stairs to our room from the street entrance were significant but once up there we used the back street entrance with much easier stair access.

Great location. Friendly & helpful staffs. Good scenery through a window. Clean & tidy small garden on upper floor. Fantastic swallows nest hanged on the wall. (public area) Walking distance to all attractions. Bus terminal 900m away from the hotel.

Great location, comfortable and amazing view from the balcony! Wonderful and helpful staff who let me check in early and even check out late without extra charge! Lovely little garden. The AC in the room was a life saver!

Only thing I missed was a breakfast option and some tea and coffee in the room.

Staff was exceptional friendly and polite. The room was clean and comfortable and the lady looking after it went the extra mile I had the feeling I am home. The inner yard is fabulous.

There was just one thing I did not like about it and it is that smoking is pefmitted in the yard. It is too beautiful to be like this and smoker guests ruin the quiet enjoyment of the garden. It is much more up to the guests mentality, but it would be great if the hotel adopts the non smoking policy.

The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring the town, and is very near bars and restaurants with great views. My room had a great view over the town, and was comfy and spotless. The small garden between the two parts of the hotel is a great place to chill after a day of sightseeing.

There was really nothing I didn't like.

The hosts are so friendly and helpful, and they made me feel like part of the family. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and I slept soundly every night. I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the city.
