The hotel is charming. Our view wasn’t of the fortress, but our window did lverlook a lovely house across the alley. Unsure of whether someone would be there, we kept our curtains down at night, but we opened them up during the day. Very pretty view. The room was quite nice, beds were comfortable, the air conditioner worked well after some adjustments made by our lovely receptionist. We liked that there was a mini fridge and the bathroom was modern and nice. We popped a tyre as we were arriving at the hotel and the receptionist did not leave my side until we got that three changed. She got her hads dirty and didn’t care. It was so comforting to have help in that moment. Breakfast was delicious, with a variety of yummy food, teas, and coffee. Huge asset. Location is hard to beat.

Slightly outdated. The mini fridge had a bit of an odor and my kid slipped and fell on the bathroom floor (not the shower area but outside) after she got it way too wet. Just keep the floor outside the shower dry and you’ll be fine. We did need tl ask for help with the air conditioner, but that was solved quickly. No phones in the room, no biggie.

The hotel is exactly in the center of Veliko, 3 min walking from the Tsarevets Fortress, and close to restaurants and different bars. Also, one of the main advantages of the hotel is the terrace (open non-stop for guests) with a view over the fortress. I actually think that the hotel's view is one of the best views over the fortress in Veliko :) The staff is helpful and the hotel is clean. They also have a private parking, but if you're going in weekends, I advise you to book your parking place in advance (we have sent the property a message with this request and when we arrive, they guided us to the parking spot). Overall, it was a really pleasant experience, and we would come back again if we were to visit again Veliko.

We went on the 1st of June, so there weren't so many tourists, and cars. However, during the night (maybe it depends also on the room's position) you could hear the cars passing by, without any problems (the noise stopped around 1 pm). Another thing, which maybe it was just our "luck", it's the breakfast. The breakfast time is from 8:30 to 10:30. We arrived at 9:15, there were only 2 tables occupied, and almost no food left (except from some sweets and boiled eggs). As any other tourist who visited almost every country in Europe, we hoped that once the food platters are empty, they will also be refilled - well, this wasn't the case, and the platters remained empty (at least until our departure). The coffee was good though.

- location: view towards the Tsarevets Fortress and surrounding hills - lovely terrace where we could watch the light show from the fortress - kind and helpful staff: we had a problem with our bathroom as it was not thoroughly cleaned. I mentioned this to the receptionist and the problem was solved quickly. Moreover, due to this issue, the hotel provided us with free parking for one day. Normally, we would have had to pay. A very kind gesture from their side. - good mattresses - parking: although small (with 8 or 10 parking lots), it is great that they have it.

- cleanliness: we stayed one night, the towels and sheets were indeed clean, but the bathroom was not. The door was dirty, the toilet had urine spots and traces of feces, mold spots in the shower as well. Also, the flushing system of the toilet was broken. However, the toilet was cleaned after we made a complaint at the reception desk. Also, the flushing system was partially fixed, but my recommendation is to replace it completely. Cleaning, especially in the bathroom, should be done with a keen eye for details. - breakfast: low quality products and lack of variety. Coffee was extremely bad. - bad pillows - not very clean rug - old furniture - noise from the street, even with the windows closed (it is a busy road even during the night)

The hotel is located close to some of the main attractions of the city. The area is quiet and the view is excellent. The general appearance of the hotel is pleasant.

The breakfast is functional but quite modest. Omelet is not part of the menu. For a decent coffee you have to pay extra. There is no elevator (if you have a lot of luggage and are staying in the upper rooms, it can be quite demanding)

Amazing location, the view was directly to the fortress! The breakfast was nice, the entrance was very cool. Big bathroom. Generally clean, clean bedsheets. The staff was super kind especially the guy that was for the evening shift.

The toilet cover was very dirty with pee stains from previous users. The bedside table lamp was damaged and couldn’t be used. The access to the power plug for the electric water pot was difficult - I had to move the entire fridge counter. The yellow counter in the bathroom was damaged by the water and didn’t look nice. The bed covers were too narrow and too short.

This is the hotel with the best view in Veliko Turnovo!! Absolutely amazing rooftop terrace! The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean, the receptionists were very kind and friendly, we had tasty breakfast included in the price and the location is just next to Tsarevets and the Old Town. The location is superb and the parking is very close. It costs 15 BGN per day. Great value for money and I highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely be back on our next trip in the area.

Lovely hotel 1 minute away from the Tsarevets castle. Amazing view (I booked a room with the castle view, and it was really nice). The hotel provides parking, 10 m away from the building (a very good option, taking into account it's an old part of the town) for extra pay (was 10 levas per day Jan, 2023). There is a terrace on the roof, available all day long. The hotel itself is cosy and comfortable, with a lot of Instagram-friendly decorations in the hall. Good breakfast, a teapot and a refrigerator are available in the room. Clean room was quite big and warm (I was there around January, 10th, e.g. the weather was really cold).

Wi-fi is too weak to reach the 3rd floor, so I switched to a mobile one (the mobile connection was perfect). Breakfast is served 8:00 - 10:30, but when I came 10:00, the choice was already very limited, so I recommend to come earlier.

Lovely staff, always helpful. Communicative, receptive, always trying to help or give an answer, very polite and respectful, always available. Lovely positioned building, for the Velico Tarnovo lights show with great view over the old citadels, lovely roof terrace and very close proximity to the old city center. Good private car parking, out of public roads.

The breakfast, although fresh, was static in terms of offering (always the same choices, very small variations like cheese pie or fried sour dough, or cakes). Breakfast coffee was not great, recommend getting coffee from the lobby bar. Breakfast good for a short stay of 2 days, longer stays may get a bit bland.

Fabulous location. Only 10 minutes to the entrance of the Tsaravets Fortress. Many restaurants and town center close by. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Great roof-top terrace with terrific view of the fortress (including the light show at 21:30h). Parking is conveniently located just around the corner. The village of Arbanasi is less than a 15 min drive away. "Studio" is a super little boutique hotel for the price.

No air conditioning. (Outdoor temperature reached 27-28 during the day making the room pretty hot.) No wi-fi. (Even though the hotel claims to have wi-fi, the signal does not reach the room.) No elevator for luggage. (Not a problem if you pack light.)

I recommend this hotel especially for great location. It is located in front of the Tsarevets castle. View from the room was amazing. You can watch the evening light show from the room. If you choose a room without the view on the castle, there is a terrace on the roof of the building where you can also go and look at the castle and watch the show. Breakfast was good, but can be improved. The room was clean and pleasant. The staff was kind and friendly.

Facilities can be updated. Also, I expected to have some slippers for the room.
