Fabulous location , huge room with balcony to sit on , relax and watch the world go by .

The staff were very nice , helped us source Tuk Tuk for trips etc . However , they seemed inconsistent with information. We asked about getting to the Giant Ibis bus station for travel to HCMC and one told us to book a grab which is fine and what we did but the receptionist on duty the morning we left told us that they could have called the Giant Ibis office who would have sent a car for us . This would’ve been much more helpful as there are two offices and tourists could easily end up at the wrong office to catch their bus .

Having been a bit unlucky with my previous bookings in Phnom Penh, staying at Tao Residence definitely was a score! The most positive aspect of the whole stay are the very helpful and always cheerful staff, who give the Residence a homy atmosphere. A pleasant surprise was the huge and very comfortable room, though it was noted that the room I got assigned was quite recently renovated. Overall, an absolutely pleasant experience. Will be looking forward to return sometimes in the near future.

There is little the property can do about it but once you decide to stay in this area (Riverside promenade, pubs and bars area) it will never be the most quiet environment for a stay in Phnom Penh. Also, in the neighbourhood some constant construction works may occur anytime, even in the middle of the night.

The hotel is located right on the riverfront with a large covered balcony so you can sit and watch the world go by. The room was very modern with every facility and the bathroom was also a very high standard. All of the staff were exceptional and could not help us enough. Underneath the hotel is a cafe which serves good food, coffee, drinks etc. which seems to cater for tourists. The hotel is a short tuk tuk ride from the busies areas of the city which only costs 2$ to get there.

Fantastic location to see all the tourist spots in Phnom Penh. A lot of the locations are within walking distance which is even better. Staff were kind and very helpful. Even provided a map of where the accommadation was in comparison the sights. This was really helpful. The room waa clean and comfortable and very spacious. I would definitely stay here again

Minor issue, but the hot water only lasted 2 minutes and then would turn luke warm/cold. I managed but it would be an issue if more than 1 person was staying in the apartment. Slight smell coming from the aircon units. They just need to be cleaned. Dispite these things i would still stay here again 🙂

The cost I was charged in US$ incurred and fee from my bank to exchange I deal with booking.com for accommodation in fact I booked two hotel in Phuket and a hotel in Cambodia a hotel in Airlie beach within the past two months all the same way yet the I was charged an exchanged fee

Very spacious and clean apartment (within a small block of apartments) with large bathroom and bath and a large veranda area overlooking the Mekong and opposite a great walkway along the river. Close to everything and in the centre of all activity. If not close everything we used was a short Tuk tuk ride away (for $2) Not a hotel as such rather an independent apartment with a reception desk downstairs - but had no additional hotel type amenities but we did not need anything else. Did have a mini bar and treat selection for sale if needed . We thought this apartment was great value for money and had everything that we required.

We were actually asked this question by the staff and had nothing that we could offer , that is there was nothing that we did not like.

Tao Residence was conveniently located in the bustling tourist area of Sisowath Quay. Its a 10 min walk to the Palace and tuk tuks can get you anywhere else quickly. The property is effectively a spacious serviced apartment, perfect if you just need a nice place to sleep and relax. The staff were very helpful and always keen to assist.

The property is more like a serviced apartment than a hotel so there aren't any amenities beyond your room.

Location is excellent, situated right at the riverside. This is a well run service apartment style that is clean and well maintained. Rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. Thoughtful touches include fresh coffee and tea, which is made plunger style. Beds are super comfortable and the room is service daily professionally. Excellent to die for views of the river in some rooms! Always a pleasure to return "home" after a day's outing.

Price is a wee bit on the higher side and equivalent places include breakfast eg Amanjaya. But they don't have a restaurant so that is understandable.

it has excellent service you hope for. Every staff is polite, helpful, the way staff handles my request make me feel comfortable, housekeeping keep the room tidy and neat. The facilities and the room are clean, modern and spotless, Wifi is superfast . I Booked for executive room they gave me an upgrade room in the Loft room with no charge. I was so surprise the room just fully renovation the new color look on the wooden furniture, room facing to river with the big balcony and window. Hopefully I return someday soon.
