Loved this hotel. We booked it last minute and thought it was excellent value for money (probably one of the best of our entire trip in south east Asia) As soon as we walked in the door it felt luxurious. We were offered a beer that was made by the hotel brand as a welcome drink and given an overview of the area etc. the hotel uses an app for everything from requesting water be refilled to booking a free ride with the electric tuk tuk. The staff were so responsive. Any requests were met immediately. The room itself was spotless and had a great view - felt very luxurious. The rooftop bar had great cocktails and tapas. I would recommend to anyone wanting a little bit of luxury in a central location

The acomodation, room, breakfast and location too. Plus, the Hotel KVL Team was amazing and attending the guest in all the moment.

City view room on second floor faced a concrete wall a few metres away and the dead pigeon on window ledge a bit of a disappointment. Paid extra and had river view. Great! It’s expensive and has the same character as all similar hotels throughout the world. Inside we could have been anywhere!

KVL Hotel was very clean and well kept up. It is also very new. The staff were extremely supportive and would immediately help when asked for something. Being right on the river front with all the action of restaurants and vendors etc was enjoyable.

The restaurant in KVL had very limited offerings, and basically nothing vegetarian. The breakfast on weekdays and Saturday was a la carte, and not many choices. Luckily there are many restaurants and coffee houses close by.

5-Star-Level hotel. Great view of city sights and skyline from the room. Rooftop bar with great view of the river at night. Very quiet and soundproof rooms at nights.

Khmer food in this hotel (at least for breakfast) focused on burnt garlic flavor. If you want to experience the full range of Khmer food, you should visit other restaurants in the city.

Very very good location, can see the Royal Palace from the window in the room and take a walk by the riverside. The decorations and facilities are modern and the shower is extremely excellent. There’s a tube coffee beside the hotel and we enjoyed the Cambodian brand’s coffee with riverside view. Very happy and satisfied with this hotel and proud of my wisdom choice.

Can’t think of anything that needs to be improved

They have one of the best coffee was one of the best in the city. Breakfast was a la carte but very well priced and high quality. The hotel is new, centrally located and the rooms are spacious and comfortable, facing either the Royal Palace/National Museum or the Mekong river view.

the check-in staff wasn't sure how to use the contactless card for payment (twice) and I had to show him (again). the room facing the Royal Palace/National museum has a lot of pigeons flying around and may be noisy in the evening.

Really excellent service from every single staff member. Helpful hints for getting around, and about what was happening in the city. Gave my husband extra help getting money exchanged. Arranged our pickup and ride back to the airport for a reasonable price. The food at the cafe was delicious, and service excellent, as well. Very comfortable room, lots of space!

Very well located for restaurants, bars and tourist attractions. Very good view of the river from the roof top bar. Modern and cozy. Free alcoholic drink on arrival.

Our room looked into the hotel atrium through bunker like windows. Absolutely recommend booking a room with a view of the river. Definitely worth the additional cost to avoid cabin fever.

What a wonderful experience from the very late check-in throughout our stay. Best location to enjoy Phnom Penh. Staff extremely friendly, professional and helpful. Breakfast which was include very good and love the idea that every day you can select something else. Thanks for all the assistance with the transport.
