Bayon Modern Residence in Siem Reap turned out to be a hidden gem that I'm so glad to have discovered. From the moment I arrived, I was immersed in an enchanting experience. The ambiance of this hotel is simply captivating. The blend of Khmer architecture and contemporary design creates an inviting atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. The well-maintained gardens and the serene pool area provided the perfect setting to relax and unwind. My room was a haven of comfort. The attention to detail in the decor was impressive, showcasing the local artistry and culture. The bed was a dream to sleep on after a day of exploring the temples. The thoughtful amenities were a nice touch that enhanced my stay. The standout feature of Bayon Modern Residence, however, was the exceptional service. The staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome and attended to my every need. Whether it was arranging transportation or sharing insider tips for exploring Siem Reap, their warm hospitality was truly commendable.

I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. Our experience here for 9 days has been one of our favourite & we are currently travelling around south east Asia. We are so sad to leave me and my partner and could have easily stayed another week. STAFF: Thank you so much for making our time so special. They couldn’t do enough for us. Every time we came back to the hotel from a day of exploring we were welcomed with a ‘welcome home’, they were unbelievably friendly and all so genuine. It’s so nice to see a bunch of staff all be friends and have a laugh but at the same time give out such professional service to their guests. POOL: It is well maintained and cleaned, lovely temperature to cool you down and the pool bar is always there to keep you refreshed! Pool towels are always available also for you to use and cleaned/replenished everyday ROOM: a very comfortable & pleasant stay, the bed was very comfortable. Also a big space so plenty of storage space if you’ve brought a lot of stuff! We had a big bath in the room which was great & the bathroom is so big it’s like a wet room! BREAKFAST: Great selection of food to cater for lots of different tastes! Pancakes, croissants, various types of bread, fruit, toasties. They have an egg station also if you fancied a fried egg or omelette. Juices & coffee also available. Transport: The tuk tuk drivers outside the hotel are always available to take you wherever you want, from the hotel to the town centre it is generally $2 a time. However I advise you tip as they’re so friendly and deserve it. The town centre is about a 5 min drive on the tuk tuk so great location to be. It is also about 15 mins away from the airport. Would recommend this hotel to anybody coming to Siem Reap, you would not regret it. We will be back!

Just came back from an unforgettable stay at Bayon Modern Residence and I can honestly say it made me fall in love with hospitality all over again. The staff weren't just good; they were amazing! Our last day turned into a mini adventure when our bus decided to ditch us, but these incredible folks came to our rescue. A super friendly staff member took charge and didn't rest until she found a solution. She called and called, until she managed to summon a tuk tuk driver to rescue us from our transportation dilemma. Honestly, I can't thank them enough for going the extra mile. Speaking of going the extra mile, our room was spotlessly clean and looked like it jumped straight out of a magazine. They even tidied up after us every single day. And let's not forget about the breakfast buffet - it was a culinary delight that offered a smorgasbord of Cambodian and Western dishes. If you're looking for a hotel that puts your comfort and happiness first, then Bayon Modern Residence is the place to be. A thousand thumbs up!

Staff are super friendly, from masseuse, waiters they were attentive & helpful. The rooms were spacious, clean & well- maintained. Beds were comfortable it feels like I was in my own bedroom back home. Amenities were great. I enjoyed my massage. The complimentary breakfast was delicious & had a great variety of options. At dinner time the restaurant also serve very good dishes. They also serve a fabulous summer roll & banana flower salad which I ordered almost everyday. I booked my everyday tours through the hotel & the tour guide that Mr Bunthinh assigned to me, Mr Vanny was a Japanese & English speaker & good in taking photos as well. The manager Mr Buntinh recommended me a very good Khmer restaurants that made my stay more enjoyable. Special thank you to Buntinh, the hotel manager for your excellent hospitality. I extended my stay for another day & Mr Binn helped me with my flight rebooking. Thank you Mr Binn. I was more surprised upon checking out because the property owner personally drove me to the airport & carried my heavy luggages. Thank you all for my unforgettable awesome stay with you. I will definitely come back with my family.

We loved this Khmer owned hotel. It was very neat and clean and friendly. We arrived very early and were allowed an early room and a late departure. The beds were so comfortable. The staff were gorgeous, especially Pheap and Hach and Mr Tom. Breakfast had such a variety of offerings, western and Asian. The pool is very pretty and a great size. The hotel is in a great position. Only a 8 minute amble to Psar Cha, Central market, Made in Cambodia Market and night life. Highly recommend.

Amazing place! where everything comes true and very easily! The staff is just incredible: very helpful and doing their best. Beautiful rooms, very quiet, very delicious dishes, amazing swimming pool…. in the center of the city. Do not hesitate to ask them for the Guide for Angkor.

We loved everything about Bayon Modern. The room was quiet, clean, and tastefully decorated in the style of nearby Angkor. No noises from the outside or from adjacent rooms. All of the staff was friendly, respectful, and seemed genuinely happy that we had come to their country. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied, with fresh fruit, juice (wow…the mango and the watermelon were amazing), made order omelettes, western as well as Asian selections. The hotel also did a terrific job matching us with a guide and a driver for our two day exploration of the massive Angkor site.

This is our second stay at the bayon Modern Hotel- my husband & I stayed 2019 and we loved it so much we returned again with our two teenage daughters this time. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, the pool area is totally tranquil, the bedrooms are lovely and clean although we have both times opted to upgrade to The Suite room which are utterly stunning with a beautiful balcony that overlooks the pool area. The breakfast is absolutely fantastic - with a lovely chef who cooks eggs, waffles & pancakes to order. They also serve lovely sparking wine and freshly squeezed orange juice. However the BEST thing about the hotel is the lovely staff and management that run this little hidden gem. Mr Bun Tinh who is front of house was there last year and he welcomed us back with the warmest of welcomes. In short this hotel has only got better in the last year and as a family we can’t wait to return. Thank you again for an absolutely amazing stay.
