the rooms were incredibly spacious! The staff were also amazing! I felt like I was just visiting family. They made our stay so enjoyable.

great location. all staff was extremely accommodating-they remembered us throughout the stay (Mr. Yuth and Van among many others) and always took good care of us. we did a guided tour for the sunrise tour with Mr. Noy and Mr. Chong one day and it was seamless and educational. the pool and happy hour is great and the morning breakfast was a great way to start the day. I also messed up my booking by booking one too many nights, and Mr. Yuth was flexible and worked out a plan to give us hotel credits for food/drink instead of just making me us pay the extra night which was very much appreciated (considering it was my mess up)! location was great as well.

Location and style. The property is beautiful and a block from Pub Street. We were able to book our Angkor Wat guide and tours through the hotel.

It’s not a “dislike” and other guests may not have an issue with it, but I found the staff a little too eager and over the top. Eating meals had a few too many interruptions checking that food etc was ok, even before we’d taken a bite. You felt them hovering and couldn’t relax. Another staff member accompanied us to the airport along with the driver which was completely unnecessary. These comments are not a reason not to stay at the property, we loved our stay, but it’s more feedback for the staff to tone it down just a bit.

This hotel really knows how to make you feel special! We spent four nights at the Golden Temple Residence and truly felt pampered. We used all their amenities and I can report that they’re all excellent: the rooms are modern, very spacious and comfortable, with great air conditioning (important!) and a modern bathroom with a hot shower; the restaurant has a great menu with varied cuisine, including local; the massage at the spa was honestly one of the best I’ve had, with hot tea and fresh mango served afterwards; the pool area is relaxing and refreshing, especially when they turn the waterfalls on; the laundry service is fast and inexpensive; and the staff is unfailingly kind and helpful (especially Alice at the front desk). Just the best. The hotel is located in a great location, steps away from restaurants, shops, and Pub Street, but also easily accessible to the temples via a 15-minute car ride. Pro Tip: Book your tour of the temples through the front desk. The front desk staff will give you several options, and we chose to do two days of exploring, including the sunrise visit to Angkor Wat (trust me, you don’t want to miss that!). Our guide Choub and driver David were outstanding, with Choub giving lots of history and insight into what we were seeing at each temple. He is a wealth of knowledge, super friendly, and a bit of a comedian (and speaks 4-5 languages). The hotel was so kind to pack a breakfast to take with us, and David brought lots of cold bottles of water to share in the air conditioned car. He even provided an umbrella for shade at one point. Be sure to cover your shoulders and knees for the temples, wear loose and breathable clothing, bring sunscreen and a hat, and wear comfortable shoes since the temple stones are more than 1,000 years old and not completely flat to walk on. In summary, we *highly* recommend Golden Temple Residence, and look forward to returning again in the future.

The place is very beautiful and peaceful with a palatial interior . I loved the pool and dining area & breakfast was delicious. My room was spotless & very spacious. The location is good & central, near Pub Street and central, but not too near. But above all, the staff were fantastic. So helpful & attentive & the welcome they gave was superb. They picked us up not only with a driver but also a member of staff to welcome us. Sky - one of the staff members was exceptionally polite & attentive & made sure that we were well looked after and that all our needs were met - but quite frankly, all the staff were fantastic. Every time we went to the pool area, we were brought a homemade fresh drink & banana chips! We were given a complimentary meal & two discounted massages. The hotel was very generous.

I honestly can not complain about anything except maybe the mosquitos, but that was everywhere in Siem Reap as it is very lush & tropical!

Everything!!! "The Best" received us at the airport, and kindly took us to the hotel. It was our hooneymoon, and we couldn't be more surprised with the incredible set they prepared for us! The attention to detail is absolutely astonishing! For example, every afternoon we are surprised with delicious cookies, and a beautiful tale that make us understand what is really important in life. Everything was spot on, and that is why it was so hard to leave! The hotel is in the city center, near the famous Cambodian circus, and 5 minutes away from the Pub Street. But what really jumped of the page was the incredible staff that was always ready to help, and always with a smile on their faces. Such humble, caring, and sweet people (from The best to the manager, and even the incredible and smiley intern). We definitely made amazing Cambodian friends!

The front desk team were amazing- the best I have encountered on my many trips to Cambodia. This hotel is a true gem. Don't look anywhere else. You go for a swim in the gorgeous pool and a waterfall magically gets turned on for you. They greet you by name every time you pass , you are treated like family. Nothing is too much trouble. Room was stunning. Perfect location. Complementary lunch and spa treatment included. 100m to pub street.

Our stay in Cambodia was (unfortunately) brief but we were so happy to stay at the Golden Temple Residence. The staff is exceedingly friendly and helpful. Alice and her team arranged transport to and from the airport and got a 2 day private tour of Angkor Wat set up for us. We highly recommend paying a little extra for the tour. Our driver (Mr. Lucky) and guide (Mr. Chong) were amazing! The air conditioned van also saved us multiple times as the park gets very hot very quickly. The location of the hotel itself is unbeatable, located only a minute from Pub Street, Night markets, and excellent restaurants. Truly a wonderful stay in an amazing country. We hope to be back soon!

This is easily the best hotel l've stayed at in all of my travels. The level of detail in the design sets the mood when you walk in. The service is unparalleled. The massages are pricier than outside but we got two of them and they were excellent. The hotel restaurant is unbelievably delicious. Again, yes pricier than the street vendors but very reasonable considering the high quality of the food. It was some of the best food we had in this area. I would book a trip to this hotel, just to sit at the pool and enjoy all of their menu items. Special thanks to Nadeth, and Karona who made the experience even more special. But every single hotel employee that we encountered has been incredibly gracious and helpful. For our Angkor Wat experience, we utilized La Ron; a local tour guide recommended by the hotel. We initially only wanted one day with a tour guide but we enjoyed his company so much, we added on two additional days. He's incredibly knowledgeable, kind and helps take numerous memorable photos of you with the temples, ensuring a unforgettable experience later on. Ron, hotel acquired driver, was so kind and considerate. He truly made transport between all the temple packed days truly a smooth experience. I'd easily come back and stay here again.
