Beautiful, bright, modern room with lovely design. All staff were warm and welcoming, and helpful, no matter what the request. The location couldn't be better - close to Pub Street (but far enough away), but most importantly close to the river and all the restaurants and shops along it. We were about a 15 minute Tuk Tuk drive away from Angkor Wat, making it easy to access for our sunrise. I was pleasantly surprised to find two swimming pools and a gym which enhanced our stay as there was something to do during the hot, hot afternoons in March when viewing the temples would have been too much for us. Breakfast was simple but more than enough, buffet style with a made to order choice of eggs, rice, noodles, etc. The room was cleaned twice a day! Love the focus on sustainability and that you can drink the tap water and that glass water bottles are provided. This alone would make us stay again.

The location of the hotel is perfect for restaurants and cafes. The rooms are spacious, clean and really nicely decorated. The rooftop swimming pool and bar are exceptional and the staff were all fantastic. The downstairs pool is also beautiful and a welcome retreat for some shade. Free water in the rooms and the tap water is drinkable. The food was good but we are vegetarian and the options were limited. The breakfast was not special for the cost so we preferred to go out. We also had an excellent meal at the Japanese restaurant attached to the hotel. We would highly recommend this beautiful hotel in Siem Reap.

We really couldn’t find anything wrong with this hotel at all. We loved everything about it. Breakfast was delicious, some items could be cooked to order and some on a buffet. The room was clean, comfortable and stylish. Staff were always super friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough to make our stay perfect. It was also good to have a choice of swimming pools, as we burn easily, and there’s not much shade on the rooftop. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to relax after a long day exploring Angkor Wat.

The pumps on the provided toiletries in the bathroom didn’t work - that’s all! I know I’m being pedantic!

I have been to many, many hotels around the world, but I must say: The Aviary Hotel in Siam Reap is my top favorite !!! The communication was just in time, the rooms excellent clean (cleaning every day, refill of water), the staff is extraordinary friendly and helpful. Aviary hotel has two (!) pools: One at the basement in the shadow and one on the rooftop. Absolutely perfect for relaxation. It’s a perfect oasis with amazing interior design. Food at the Flock Cafe and drinks at the Glide Bar (all in the hotel) were just Yummy and delicious. I can also recommend to go to Amret Spa. My choice was the pumpkin facial treatment which was pure recreation. This hotel is by far a perfect stay in Siam Reap. For sure, I will come back soon. Thanks to all the staff.

Absolutely nothing !!!

Very helpful and attentive staff. The hotel was beautiful. We had a massage st the spa which was excellent both in terms of quality and price.

Breakfast was limited, the air-conditioning was too slow to cool the big room, had some issues with ants in the room

Staff are superb! The hotel is super clean, funky, the rooms are a really good size, the new rooftop pool is stunning and it has a fabulous vibe. It’s a quick walk to Pub Street (Red Piano Bar is a favourite of ours) We love everything about The Aviary and a stay here every time we are in Siam Reap. The new Japanese restaurant at the hotel is amazing. We highly recommend it!

- super neat avian-themed hotel. unexpectedly learned about bird species haha. (this would be the perfect hotel for any bird-lover) - perfectly central location. excellent walking-distance to shops, restaurants and nightlife - the room size, design accents, and furniture - two different swimming pools

- navigating the hotel and its interconnected buildings, especially with the lift only going to alternating floors can be tricky at first but you get use to it.

This was an AMAZING hotel stay. The staff are excellent. Nothing is too much trouble. The room was spacious and beautiful, 2 gorgeous pools, a great cafe on the ground floor and beautiful Japanese restaurant attached to the hotel. They arranged tours for us, upgraded our room and we had a late checkout. This was the best hotel stay I’ve had in all my experience. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
