The staff is really nice: particularly Chanthou, the young lady at the restaurant in the morning and the young man at the bar in the evening.

The communication about the policy (most likely from the management) is a bit aggressive. For example there is a sign warning that if you bring food or drinks from outside you will be charged 10$. Or even worse, if you enter the swimming pool after 10pm, you will be "punished" with 50$ fee. We understand these policies, but the threats and charges are definitely not necessary!

The staff here go above and beyond to look after you and make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible - absolutely anything and everything you could possibly need, they can help with. All of the stuff here are amazing but those I got the names of; Makara on the front desk was a great help with anything I needed and Chanthou in the cafe served me my breakfast every morning, always up for a chat and making me feel welcome. 10/10 service.

Super location in a quiet street. Maximum 5 min walk to get to the different markets, the Pub street is really just next door too. The hotel offers various packages for the floating village and Angkor at reasonable prices. The hotel staff are really nice and attentive, always there to answer our questions. A big dedication to Duk, Jerry and Kea with whom we had quite a few laughs and chats, it was great. 😁

The only drawback for me was that there were no curtains per bed in the dormitories, so there was little privacy.

The staff were very friendly in the hostel and helped us to arrange trips. The location of the property is very good with a short walk to local markets, bars, restaurants and of course Pub street. We had a private triple room with ensuite booked for 4 nights. The room had 3 large single beds which were comfortable. The pool was nice to have also as it was extremely warm when we visited.

The property is quite dated and the bedroom was quite musty, we didn't used the wardrobe in the room as there was mould visible inside. The bedroom curtains were not very thick so when the sun came up the room became bright. A small purchase of an eye mask sorted that but it is just something to keep in mind. The water pressure varied shower to shower, sometimes we got lucky and had a nice shower other times the water trickled. Also no hairdryers in the room or available to rent/borrow from reception. We were advised to attend the local hairdressers who washed and dried our hair for $6.

I like this place. Nice location in the city centre, but pretty calm. Dorms are clean and comfortable and for the amzing price. There si bar and swimming pool, amazing for chilling. There nice restaurants and bars, pub street, shops, old market, everything is in the walking distance. And you stay in good neighbourhood. Staff are really friendly and helpfull. They provide a lot of tours options and informations, nice. I extended my stay here two times without any troubles, especially because of Ms. Jerry, whi helped me so much. Thank you.

I really liked my stay at the Pub Hostel. The hostel was advertised as a party hostel but the vibe was more relaxed. You could chill at the bar and the pool, there is a pooltable. The hostel is close to all the attractions but it is not a party hostel so if you are looking for a party scene then made monkey might be better although it’s farther from this hostel when it comes to location to the center. Also the staff of the hostel was very nice and helpfull. I remember Jerry helping me with all by bookings , calling the bus companies to double check my requirements , also always funny and welcoming with her lovely smile, kudos to her!

Very friendly and helpful staff, always asking if there is anything they can do or improve on. Dee especially is lovely! If you need any advice on where to go or what to do she's very helpful. The dorm rooms and bathrooms are cleaned thoroughly everyday. They also offer to change sheets or towels or if there is anything else you would like cleaned. They leave the air conditioning on most of the day when the rooms are occupied unlike most hostels that turn it off for the whole day. Everything is clean, the pool is pristine. Plenty of seating area. The restaurant and bar is cheap, food is good and again the staff are very friendly and accommodating. I ended up extending my stay night after night and even trying out one of their private rooms too which was positively luxurious. The location is great too.

Wonderful staff. We were welcomed by Coco and immediately felt at home. The facilities are great, with a restaurant on site with fair prices and good food, just by the swimming pool. The pool table was very forgiving so I felt like I was actually good at this game. We had a long chat with the receptionist Chanthou which gave us a better insight about Cambodia, she’s a very nice person. I’m very happy I chose this hostel and would definitely come back again.

Mosquitoes made it into our room, but that’s a very common thing in this region, so not really the hostel’s fault.

We only stayed the one night but it was a very comfortable night. We arrived at 6am from Siem Reap and they allowed us to drop our bags there and freshen up in the toilets/showers by the pool so we would start our day. Spent most of the day out exploring so didn’t use the pool or restaurant facilities but they looked clean and tidy. They do rent bicycles but we found them more expensive than other places so didn’t use this service. They also have a heap of tours you can do but again, we didn’t use this service and just explored Angkor Wat by bicycle ourselves. Very comfortable and clean place and if we had the time we would have definitely stayed longer! Great location, close to Pub St.

The stay was great. We were welcomed by Sonim and Makara, who promptly carried our bags to the very clean and comfy room. Food prices are great, as well as the food. They also have fantastic bar staff With Chantoei and Tola, who served us very well. The tour we booked through the hostel was also good. 10/10 recommend.

I think, that the rooms could get a little bit of an upgrade in the sense of coziness. A picture or two would be very nice, especially in the double rooms. Also they do play party music a lot in the bar, even during the day. But those things are very much minor. Great value!
